[To Love]

[Episode 14]

[Ji Xiao'ou]

[Vipshop]

[Sister, Yan Jin is doing drugs. Go to his house to check on him.]

Yan Jin! Yan Jin!

Why are you here?

What happened to you?

You're not welcomed here.

What is this?

You're doing drugs?

A drug addict like me,

why are you still missing me?

Leave.

I want you to leave.

Hey, Ji Xiao'ou!

Hey!

Ji Xiao'ou, are you crazy?

Don't you know how expensive this stuff is?

Get out. Get out.

From now on,

whether you live or die, has nothing to do with me!

Ever since Zhan Yu said those words to me,

I suddenly had hope for Yan Jin.

I was dreaming that he was the Yan Jin I loved.

After seeing him doing drugs in front of my eyes,

that last drop of hope was gone.

I swore that I would completely forget him.

Yan Jin is doing drugs?

Are you sure? He was a drug enforcement officer.

I also wished that what I saw wasn't true.

He is with Xiao Meiren and her people. Are they also dealing drugs?

You can't say stuff like that randomly.

Zhan Yu notified you to check up on Yan Jin.

How did Zhan Yu know that he was doing drugs?

Is Zhan Yu doing drugs, too?

Impossible.

Zhan Yu lived with me for this long. I didn't see any abnormalities.

How he found out might be because other people knew about Yan Jin doing drugs.

He probably overheard.

He told you to check up on Yan Jin.

That doesn't make sense.

Zhan Yu hates Yan Jin the most.

Okay. Okay. Stop talking.

I don't want to waste another second on that guy.

Why don't we talk about some happy stuff?

It's almost New Year's. How are you guys celebrating?

Of course, celebrating with you.

I already planned it out.

We can have a countdown party here.

That's not bad.

We can liven up the spirits. Plus, the workers here have worked hard over the year.

It's a good chance for them to let loose.

You are good at parties. You plan it, I'll decorate.

No problem.

If you need anything, tell me. I can help with shopping.

Just bringing Le Le is fine.

Le Le will be really happy.

Is Zhan Yu coming?

I asked him. He said there's a lot of stuff to do at school near the end of the year so he can't come.

Everyone is busy preparing for the new year. What is there to be busy about at school?

Parties are meant to be the more the merrier.

I want him to perform a few songs.

When he actually has time, he still has to visit his mom at the hospital.

We can just invite Auntie over, too.

Call him and tell him that we all miss him.

Tell him to come no matter what.

Hello, Sister.

Hello, Xiao Yu. Are you done with your school stuff?

Almost.

Why don't you bring Auntie over to the cafe for the countdown?

We haven't seen each other for a long time. We all miss you.

I miss you, too. But I have plans for tonight already.

Oh, why don't you come afterward? We can do the countdown together.

By the time I'm done here, it's going to be really late.

I don't think I can make it. Have fun, though.

Okay. You go on with your stuff.

Remember to come to the cafe when you are on holidays.

Yes, of course, Sister. I've got to go now.

Zhan Yu is too much.

You helped him get better and now he's not coming to see you at all?

He really treats you as a stepmom?

When he comes to the cafe, I'm going to lecture him.

Let's get back to work. There's a lot of work to do.

[Happy New Year]

[New Year Party] [Flowing Thoughts Cafe]

- Enjoy. - Thank you.

Le Le, what do you think? Pretty, right?

It's so pretty.

Old Feng.

- Hey. Happy New Year. - Auntie Fang. - Le Le.

- Happy New Year, Brother Feng. - Happy New Year.

- Le Le. - Auntie.

Come and sit.

Sit.

♫ Honey, don't say any words ♫

♫ Honey, don't say any words ♫

♫ That's called the truth ♫

♫ Now I'm walking all alone ♫

♫ See you walking in the crowd ♫

♫ That so the truth ♫

♫ Oh, I don't want you (to) collapse when you go home ♫

♫ Buy a diamond ring, I'll make you mine ♫

♫ Honey, don't say any words ♫

♫ Honey, don't say any words ♫

♫ That's called the truth ♫

♫ Oh, you don't have to see a soul ♫

♫ Your soul half doesn't long ♫

♫ My eyes on you ♫

Xiao'ou, Le Le has a cold and took some medicine, so he's a little sleepy.

Why don't I take him home first? You guys have fun.

Let's do the countdown together. You can have Le Le go upstairs to take a nap.

I'm just afraid that if he stays up, it would make it worse.

That's right. It's so loud here, how can he rest?

I just touched his forehead. It's kind of hot.

That's right. I'm just afraid that it will get worse.

Okay, take Le Le home first.

Okay.

- Can you handle it if his fever gets worse at night? - Not a problem.

- Let's go, Le Le. - Auntie Fang, do you want to come to our place tonight?

You've never been to my house before.

Le Le, be good. Auntie Fang has other things to do.

Let's go.

Le Le has already invited you, why don't you go?

Okay, let's go back together.

Are you still sweating?

- Happy New Year. - Happy New Year.

- Bye-bye. - Bye-bye.

[New Year Party, ¥50 each with alcohol]

Meng Meng, I love you.

Will you marry me?

Marry him! Marry him! Marry him! Marry him!

Be together! Be together! Be together! Be together!

Kiss! Kiss! Kiss! Kiss!

8, 7, 6,

5, 4, 3, 2, 1.

Happy New Year!

Cheers!

Bottoms up!

Happy New Year!

2018 has passed.

In this year, the people around me,

no one is by my side at the end.

I was surrounded by loneliness.

Everyone's life

has a secret that cannot be told.

Regrets that can't be fixed. Dreams that cannot be fulfilled.

Love that can't be forgotten.

This is probably what life really is.

Thinking about the new year has come. I still have something to long for.

I told myself that

I have to go back to the prideful Ji Xiao'ou.

[Yan Jin]

Yan Jin, would you ever lie to me?

I'd probably lie to you once in this lifetime.

That one day, I won't love you anymore.

Brother, wake up.

Brother.

Brother, are you okay?

Brother, wake up.

What are you doing here?

Get out of here.

Brother, you...

Are you really doing drugs?

Are you here to laugh at me?

You've caused enough trouble for me.

Before I was too anxious and made a mistake.

I beg you for another chance. I promise I will cooperate with you.

How else can you cooperate with me?

Liu Wei doesn't trust you anymore,

you know?

Then, what should I do? I'll listen to your words, Brother.

I beg you. Give me one more chance, Brother.

I will cooperate with you well. Please help me.

Brother.

I beg you. Please help me.

- Brother. - Go back to where you were.

Brother, I beg you. Help me!

Get out! Get out!

Brother, I beg you. Help me!

Give me another chance.

I know I was wrong.

I was wrong.

This route is absolutely safe.

It can successfully get the goods out of Liyuan.

They are all roads in the mountain, so it's not easy to travel.

If something happens, it is easy to escape.

To be safe, it's better to get someone to test the route.

- We'll take action when we are sure. - Okay.

Then how we proceed after leaving Liyuan,

we'll listen to Manager Liu's directions.

How are we going to disguise our goods?

My 1/3 always has an assigned truck for seafood

at my dad's logistic company.

When transporting, the records are clean.

We can make a secret compartment in the truck.

This truck often goes in and out of Liyuan, so the border patrol people are familiar with us.

They often don't check the truck anyway.

The goods are on my truck.

I will still be responsible if something happens.

Manager Liu, rest assured.

Then, let's go with the plan.

Okay.

So which day do you want this to happen?

Wu Feng is still having the master to predict. Just wait a couple of days for him to tell us.

Okay.

I'll go find someone to make the changes to the truck.

I'll leave first.

When the drug addiction comes, it feels like thousands of ants

are biting my body.

Pain comes out from my bones. My teeth are cracking.

My bones are broken.

My organs are tearing apart.

I've never felt so helpless in my life.

Yan Jin, open the door.

Yan Jin.

Yan Jin!

You're not welcome here.

Hey!

What is this?

You're doing drugs?

A drug addict like me,

why are you still missing me?

Ji Xiao'ou.

Ji Xiao'ou, are you crazy?

Don't you know how expensive this stuff is?

From now on, whether you live or die,

has nothing to do with me!

Old Feng?

Yeah.

Come in. No need to take off your shoes.

What brings you here, Old Feng?

Yan Jin.

When did you start doing that?

Can you do this to the police uniform you once wore?

I threw that away a long time ago.

I'm not as stubborn as you.

Yan Jin, I always thought that you knew what you were doing.

I thought you had boundaries no matter how confused you were.

I never knew you would stoop this low.

I don't know how I got to this point, either.

Maybe I just had too much money to spend.

I've already figured it out.

Everyone needs to die sooner or later.

No need to worry about me.

Pretend you don't know about this. Just let me fend for myself.

- What are you doing? - Come with me to a rehab center. Let's go.

I'm not going.

Sorry, Old Feng.

I really don't need you to worry about my stuff.

I still have some things to do. Please leave.

1/3 Seafood Restaurant truck now carries drugs.

The license plate number is YUN TTS386.

January 3rd, 11:38 a.m. is where the transaction takes place.

Who are you?

Hello?

Next stop is Luxi County exit.

Take the Luxi County exit.

Let's go.

The cunning Liu Wei kept changing the route.

I didn't know where we were heading in the end.

I always saw cars following us.

They kept changing.

But I knew they were police cars.

It was my only hope to go back.

After a 2-hour rough ride,

I finally got to the location of transaction.

Manager Mei, welcome.

Manager Wu, thanks for waiting.

Come. Please come inside.

Do I need to strip for you to check?

Okay. Okay.

You want to touch me?

Sit. Sit.

"Heaven Light Leaps over the Blue Dragon,

with overflowing wealth.

Pray for everything to go well.

Windfall is also booming."

The master has predicted. Today is the auspicious day.

Everything will go as planned. It's so right.

It's such a pleasure to work with Boss Wu.

Manager Yan, you are my guardian angel.

Don't say that.

It's Boss Wu that gave me a chance.

Manager Yan, you are too modest.

Let's take our time with the chatting.

But the tea needs to be indulged when it's hot.

Manager Mei, in place of wine, let's celebrate.

Let's hope all that goes well, ends well.

After this transaction, I want to introduce some people to you.

You can't run.

Don't move!

Don't move! [Police]

Chief Zhao should know what happened after.

Okay. We'll end it here today.

That's all.

That's all. Bring him back.

Does Ji Xiao'ou know Zhan Yu died?

[Pursue Ji Xiao'ou,]

[Get close to Ji Xiao'ou... Get a spot in Liyuan...]

[Always appear in front of Ji Xiao'ou...]

[Death of Zhan Yu? Ji Xiao'ou]

Thank you for telling us so much today.

Sorry for getting in the way of your business.

You guys need to find the culprit who killed Zhan Yu.

Don't worry about this. Rest early.

[Closed]

Leader, we just got a report.

Pieces of a dead body were discovered in a high-end community in Wanfang Beili.

The DNA of the victim and Zhan Yu has a 99% match.

I heard when he was alive, he was a very talented violinist.

From the investigation, we found a lighter that belonged to Yan Jin in the victim's clothes.

He is the owner of 1/3 Seafood Restaurant in the city.

He was once a drug enforcement officer.

Yan Jin was just caught for participating in a big drug trafficking case.

He is currently being held at the Liyuan Detention Center.

What kind of person is Zhan Yu in your eyes?

"The pathetic man must have something to be despised."

Ji Xiao'ou and I have been tricked by his pitiful background,

and his innocent lying face.

In your heart, what kind of person is Yan Jin?

I don't know how to rate him.

I never really knew him.

If there was no Zhan Yu,

the situation wouldn't be like this.

Do you think Yan Jin would kill Zhan Yu?

Why would you think Zhan Yu was a crime of passion?

He liked you, didn't he?

Did you hate him?

Of course, I hated him.

That night, I put my feelings into every punch I threw at him.

I really wanted to–

Which one of them would be hiding the truth from you?

Before I can tell what the truth is,

I don't have an answer to that.
