Well, Spike, we won't be back tonight.

So you take good care of the place while we're gone, huh?

And remember, don't let anyone in the house.

You'll find plenty of food in the garage.

And don't worry about the cat.

He can take care of himself.

Well, goodbye, Spike.

Hello.

A party at your house?

Hot diggity!

Don't worry about the dog.

We can get past him.

What a watch dog.

Ain't nobody gonna get into the house with us on guard.

Now, uh, suppose those three cats right there

were trying to sneak in the house?

This your kid?

What a watch dog.

He says to try digging.

It's, uh... Feels like a dog.

It is a dog.

Hello, Spike.

Is everything okay?

Good dog.

We knew we could depend on you, Spike.

Son! You shouldn't have done it, son.

Forgive him, sir.

He's young. He's inexperienced.

He didn't know what he was doing, sir.

Let him go, son.

Let go of the man's pants.

Believe me, sir, it'll never happen again.

This your kid?

You gotta admit, fellas...

that Spike is a swell watch dog.

And that kid... Whoa!

He's a chip of the old block.

That's my boy.
