OZZY: I would rather get rid of Angelina first.

-EMILY: Is it crazy? -OZZY: I think it is crazy,

Fourth person voted out of Survivor 50:Q.

The tribe has spoken.

-Stephenie, how are you? -Guys, thanks for keeping me.

I know you were tight with Q, but

I'm super stoked that you're still here,

-No. Thank you guys. -that you're still here,

-and we're all still here. -Angelina, I voted for you.

-I'm sorry. -ANGELINA: It's okay. Come here.

It's a game, and we're a team. We're gonna win the final.

-Okay. Thank you. Yes. -We need food.

STEPHENIE: At Tribal Council tonight,

Q and I-- we had a good plan in place for Angelina.

We're thinking we've got Emily and Christian.

And we get to Tribal Council,

and Q goes home.

My heart, like, sank.

He really was in my corner.

So now what happens next--

are they gonna actually blindside me?

Because at this point,

I cannot trust anybody in this game.

OZZY: Just seem-- It seemed like the best

opportunity to take one of the biggest threats

out of this game.

EMILY: I'm feeling great.

Tribal Council went exactly as planned.

I convinced Ozzy to vote out Q.

And while getting rid of one of our strongest players

may not work out well

for us when it comes to challenges,

the strength and loyalty of the people

that I'm working with is probably more important.

That was definitely the right move.

Uh, look, I'm-I'm resigned to the fact

-that we could be going right back to Tribal. -Yeah.

I'm just a little afraid of Angelina, Mike White.

-And if we lose Angelina, like, -EMILY: Yeah.

peel her off of him,

-and then we can, like, manage him. -EMILY: Okay.

At this point, I trust Ozzy,

but I'm still a little

wary of the fact that Christian does

have this relationship with Mike and Angelina.

So, I agree with Ozzy.

Angelina is the best person to vote out.

I really thought I might be going home.

It's an understandable feeling.

ANGELINA: I actually brought my Shot in the Dark

with me up there, and I was like, "No. You know what,

I trust this group."

-Okay. -You know, so,

thank you for everything.

[sighs]

Honestly, I was at the edge of my seat tonight

because Stephenie voted for me.

Luckily,

everyone stuck to the plan,

which, especially in season 50,

is not an easy thing to do.

But it all worked out.

So now I'm gonna play it cool.

I want Stephenie

to feel comfortable, because if she's the next

to go-- and I think she is--

we don't want her to see it coming,

and we don't want her to play her Shot in the Dark.

I want to make sure that we're working together.

Yes. I worry. Where do we go from here?

-OZZY: We got to get close to Emily. -STEPHENIE: Mm-hmm.

OZZY: That's the key, because,

like, at some point, crosshairs are coming for us.

[Stephenie mutters]

STEPHENIE: Mm-hmm.

OZZY: If we have to go back to Tribal Council, hands down,

there's no way that I'm not voting for Angelina.

She is gonna have to be a sacrificial lamb,

because I want to be Mike White's number one.

And I want to gain the trust of Stephenie.

-I just want to make sure you're good. Yeah. -Thank you.

OZZY: That's the way that you're gonna winSurvivor 50.

and you've got to be a step ahead of everybody else.

KAMILLA: Oh!

-Oh, God! -Oh, no!

I'm going to do impersonations.

[clears throat]

[high-pitched]: Oh. It's me, Mickey Mouse!

And welcome to the Millionaire's Clubhouse.

KAMILLA: I have not

heard Mickey Mouse's voice

since I was three,

but Rizo is way more impressive

than Devens' juggling, which is horrendous.

I don't know what he was trying to do.

Hello, judges. I'm from...

Speak up. We can't hear you.

-I'm from Gulf Shores, Alabama. -KAMILLA: Oh, this guy's in the act?

These judges are being way nicer to you.

[grunts]

That's right. Aah!

JONATHAN: You want... No, he didn't.

-That's it. -KAMILLA: I mean,

We have decided, by unanimous decision,

the order of today's talent show.

CHARLIE: Any time you can focus on something

that's not the starving, the lack of food, it's great.

I had fun getting beat up by Jonathan,

but I hate losing,

especially to Rizo.

Ever since Rizo said that he didn't vote

for his number one ally to win the game,

that has been ringing in my head

over and over and over again.

And that just...

...makes me so pissed off.

I feel like Liz Wilcox. I'm pissed.

I'm pissed!

CHARLIE: Rizo is my mortal enemy,

and he's got no clue that I'm out for blood.

GENEVIEVE: I'm a very good braider.

AUBRY: I am very worried

that I don't really have friends.

I feel like the leper of my tribe,

because Tiff told me I am target number one.

However, I have a hidden immunity idol, and

I literally went out

for, like, five minutes,

and I hear Genevieve.

GENEVIEVE: Aubry looks a little bit like

a deer in the headlights, like, "Uh-oh, busted."

Clearly, she was looking

for an idol, and if there's still

something out here, I need to find it,

because Aubry's my

number one target out here, so,

I want that idol out of her hand.

I know what you are.

It is so exciting finding my second

Billie Eilish Boomerang idol.

At this point, I'm actually

best friends with Billie Eilish.

Maybe we're, you know, kindred spirits,

and we're gonna get matching boomerang tattoos. I don't know.

"You must send it to someone on another tribe.

"If they're voted out while still holding it,

it boomerangs back to you."

The first time I played a Billie Eilish Boomerang,

I gave it to Ozzy, and I was

very generous with information within my alliance.

This time,

I'm gonna keep the fact that I found it completely to myself.

Sorry. I'm letting them keep searching.

I know. I feel guilty.

But sorry. This information's mine.

So that if it does come back to me,

people don't know about it.

And I'm gonna give it to Rizo

over on Cila Beach

because he trusts me enough that I can blindside him,

and he wouldn't expect that I'm setting him up

to get the idol back.

All right, shall we get to today's immunity challenge?

-[all voicing assent] -First things first. Got to take back

the idols.

Thank you, Chrissy.

Thank you, Kamilla.

Once again, immunity is back up for grabs.

For today's challenge, you're gonna leap into the ocean

and swim to a narrow deck that's elevated above the water.

You'll then work together to get two tribe members up

to release two hanging buckets. Get back in the water.

You'll then remove sandbags

from your submerged boat

until you can get it to the surface,

where you will use the buckets

to bail out the excess water.

You'll then load your letter cubes in your boat,

push it to the finish, where you will

use those letter cubes to build a massive

arch puzzle.

First two tribes to finish win immunity,

safe from the vote, can't be voted out.

Losers, Tribal Council,

where somebody will be the fifth person voted out

of Survivor 50,

and as a penalty for losing, I will keep your flint.

Vatu, you're working to earn yours back.

-In addition... -[Survivors gasp, exclaim]

...you're playing for a reward.

-[overlapping chatter] -♪ Tell us, tell us, tell us.♪

Yeah, so my favorite thing in the world to do is spearfish.

So I was like, "I want to come out and then

shoot some amazing fish for y'all."

I want to bring it in and break it down.

So we got, like, plantains, beans and rice,

some fresh grilled, chopped fish.

We'll eat and play some tunes and-and hang.

The way this is gonna work is one tribe's

gonna win, have immunity, and get

PROBST: You got to keep moving,

you want that afternoon with Zac.

-Squat? -Yeah.

-You good? -No, sit, sit.

-TIFFANY: I got you. -PROBST: Now you got to work

together to get tribemates high enough

to untie those buckets

on a very narrow deck.

Vatu struggling.

-Now they got a step up. -Hold me.

[indistinct chatter]

PROBST: Chrissy's got a bucket.

Aubry's got a bucket.

Kalo has their buckets first.

They can get back in the water.

Let's go, Kalo. Move on.

PROBST: Charlie's got his second bucket.

Cila, you're good. Go.

RIZO: All right.

PROBST: It is now Kalo and Cila working on removing

those sandbags from their boat.

Those sandbags are very heavy.

You got to get that boat

so it's no longer submerged.

Then you're gonna need those buckets to bail the water.

-Go. You got it. -Go?

PROBST: Vatu has their second bucket.

Let's go! You're good!

Vatu now in the water.

I got it. Go.

KAMILLA: Watch out, Dee, watch out, watch out!

Those boats are heavy with that water,

with this boat this heavy, and all the players.

over Kalo, but it is very close.

PROBST: Kalo needs one last burst of energy

to finish this section of the challenge.

[Kalo yelling]

First thing now-- you got to figure out what is the word.

And then you got to figure out

how to turn it into an arch puzzle.

PROBST: Cila thinks they have it.

They're gonna start working to put it together now.

PROBST: Kalo now right next to them.

This is anybody's challenge to win right now.

Two tribes will have immunity,

but only one will be going to the sanctuary

for a once-in-a-lifetime afternoon with Zac Brown.

[Emily sighs]

PROBST: Right now, it is Cila and Kalo battling,

not just for immunity

but for a truly unique,

one-of-a-kind reward on Survivor 50.

Aubry, go on this side.

PROBST: Now communication is key.

Making an arch puzzle is very difficult.

GENEVIEVE: Oh, my God, you guys, yes, yes, yes!

Riz-Rizo, turn the block. It's not facing the right way.

PROBST: But it can come together quickly

if you have great teamwork.

Those puzzle pieces will hurt

a lot if you drop one on a tribemate.

As Coach is about to find out,

Tiff's about to find out.

CHRISSY: Go on this side.

Tiff has done this challenge

in her season, and she lost.

Charlie did this challenge in his season, and he won.

[indistinct chatter]

This is all about having

the right people in the right spots.

Jonathan just about lost a toe.

No shoes,

on this challenge, is a risky choice.

[Vatu grunting]

ANGELINA: It's like a baby in a birth canal.

PROBST: Vatu absolutely exhausted.

It's not for lack of effort.

-It is for lack of energy. -Yeah.

[yelling]

PROBST: Joe trying to add the last two pieces

and the win for Kalo, sending them to the sanctuary.

Down on the end, Cila trying to get there.

Dee holding up a piece with her head.

Come on. Hold it, hold it.

It's holding. It's holding.

-CHRISSY: Just one at a time, Joe. -Kalo drops out

again with two pieces.

Once again, Cila on the edge

of disaster, trying to hold that arch together.

TIFFANY: Let it... Like, slightly let it go.

Let it ease down.

PROBST: Kalo getting very close.

Will that stick together is the question.

[Chrissy screaming]

And it will. Kalo wins immunity

-and an afternoon at the sanctuary -Yeah.

with Zac Brown. We're looking

Doesn't matter how many times you play Survivor.

It does not ever get any easier.

That's how much effort this took.

Coach, what is the feeling right now?

Because it's a rare moment on Survivor

when you don't have any worries.

I mean, as we say in the South, in Tennessee,

"Damn! This feels good."

This is probably the greatest reward

in Survivorhistory,

and to be a part of it,

this is legendary,

just like the man we're about ready to meet.

-[sighs] -PROBST: Wow. On that note, Kalo, grab your stuff,

head over to the sanctuary.

Zac has set up some snacks,

JOE: Today's challenge was amazing.

JOE: We've been playing a long time without food.

We're hungry, and now we're gonna

have fish that he catches.

in the history of Survivor.

ZAC: Survivor has been my favorite show for a long time,

so, I think what brought me

all the way out here to Fiji-- it's literally

on the other side of the planet from where I live--

was the chance to get to do the things

that I love to do and then get to share that with people

that are on a show that I love and getting to come up with

what I would want for a reward, you know?

What-- The meal that I would want to have if I was out here.

That's cool. It's such a cool thing.

Just being a part of something that you love, man,

and contributing something to it--

I mean, that's... that's where it's at. Like,

there's nothing else that I could ask for.

♪ ♪

First time I went spearfishing was about 17 years ago.

We were in the Bahamas, and I just

absolutely fell in love with it.

Being able to interact with nature

and being able to be immersed in it and being pushed

in places where people don't normally go--

it recharges my batteries.

Every time that I dive, I see something I haven't seen before.

It's literally another universe.

Being underneath the water

makes me feel small in the most incredible way.

I find a lot of peace under the water,

but there's definitely different challenges.

Sometimes the visibility is not as good.

And then sometimes, you're in a lot of current.

So, you're always reading

what's happening around you.

I imagine that's the same in Survivor.

You got to adapt to whatever's happening.

And you learn how to be around sharks.

There's sharks every day that you're spearfishing.

And you're battling them for the fish.

When you're close enough to get a shot,

and it hits the fish,

it's an amazing feeling, but that's half the battle.

Then you got to get the fish in your hands as fast as you can,

'cause the sharks-- they're gonna come after your fish.

But once you pull the fish into your body,

the shark kind of stops pursuing it. Catching such

a big, gnarly fish-- that's... that was satisfying.

But I didn't want to just bring them a bunch of little fish.

I wanted to have something impressive.

So, I can't wait to bring some amazing food,

and they're gonna eat good. We're gonna cook it up

and feed 'em well, charge 'em up for the rest of their time here.

GENEVIEVE: I was already impressed

because I'm a fan of his music.

JOE: What got you into Survivor?

Were you just hooked the first time you saw it,

-or did you have, like, a... -Yeah.

I love the unpredictability of it,

but I've seen all of you play, so I'm like...

It's weird. I feel like I know you, you know?

Like, this is... this is wild.

-How's your camp? -COACH: It's good.

-You got it set up real good? -CHRISSY: You should

come back to camp with us, though, and sleep overnight

Honestly, after nine days

of having nothing but coconut,

the taste of the food was, like, exploding our mouth.

And food nourishes the body, but music nourishes the soul.

Y'all want to go over and change scenes?

-[all voicing assent] -TIFFANY: Yeah, let's do this. -Yeah.

-Go over and play some tunes? -TIFFANY: Yeah.

ZAC: The reason that I love playing music

is making people feel good.

You know, or sharing whatever feeling that is

that I'm trying to put into a song,

the connection that you get with them.

This is awesome.

ZAC: Music is such great medicine, so,

if I can write something that helps me,

it's gonna help somebody else.

"Colder Weather" is one of my favorite ones.

You know, they're away from their loved ones,

Lo and behold, I just got a little friend,

a hidden immunity idol.

And if we remember anything about

Survivor49,

RizGod with an idol loves making noises at Tribal.

"The last time this can be used is when there's five players

I don't know how I ... pull this off every season.

Since day one,

I've been climbing my way up the food chain

to prove that I'm one of the better players

to ever play this game.

So I can't wait to see what magic I work with this bad boy.

By the time we got the sandbags out of the boat, and then

got the water out, I was, like, spent.

-STEPHENIE: That was a hard one. -CHRISTIAN: I couldn't even,

like, find a place in the boat to push from.

after all of that is absolutely devastating,

the David vs. Goliath alliance,

while also still buying me goodwill and respect with Ozzy.

She starts off

as this kind of awkward, shy girl,

but, like, once you get to know her, she is a beast.

She is so strategic.

She knows this game

inside and out.

She's a cougar in the shape of, like, a ren faire girl.

So, I'm calm,

because if we're truly locked in with each other,

that's a pretty good firewall.

MIKE: I think Emily is

a dangerous player.

I feel like Emily is our best call.

All we need is four votes.

CHRISTIAN: Mike is trying

to get out Emily.

I've been with Emily since the beginning of this game.

I don't want her to go.

I think that I would

need to find a way to manage Ozzy.

I feel like it's almost better to maybe not

tell him and then just fix it afterwards.

CHRISTIAN: The other option is Angelina, one of my

compatriots from Survivor: David vs. Goliath.

This vote is a double whammy of terrible.

-MIKE: Let's do this. -ANGELINA: This is a big one.

CHRISTIAN: If only there was some other way.

MIKE: I can tell that Christian doesn't want

to get rid of Emily.

Christian's relationship with Emily reminds me

of his relationship with Gabby fromDavid vs. Goliath,

which is this type, like, nerd bomb where

the nerdy girl takes the dagger out

and stabs the nerdy guy in the back.

And so, I'm gonna have to, like,

try to manipulate Christian to get what I want.

Yeah.

MIKE: I'm playingSurvivor. I am

the Machiavellian, you know, puppet master

who's trying to, you know, get what I want in the game.

And I think this game is about persuasiveness.

It's really just about being able

to persuade other people to do what you want.

And if Christian needed any more convincing

to get rid of Emily tonight,

that did it.

CHRISTIAN: Mike's saying, "Christian,

"you're falling into the same trap

with Emily as you did with Gabby."

Seven years.

Mike's terrifying.

When he wants to get you to do something,

he's so convincing.

He knows where to hit you,

and what he thinks are the right arguments.

I think Mike feels safe.

I think he believes

I'm all on board, but Mike

is the most dangerous person on this or any island.

Angelina and Mike, they're voting who?

Emily. That's two.

Where is Ozzy voting?

So Mike goes home?

So I need to pull aside Emily and say,

CHRISTIAN: This is gonna be a tricky move to pull off.

And I don't want Ozzy to spill the beans.

This is too delicate.

Mike is too good. He's too perceptive.

So, yes,

Ozzy might be mad.

But I'll take the blame for that.

I didn't like him. I knew I didn't like him.

because I'm working with Ozzy.

CHRISTIAN: I'm, like, giving her a death stare. I'm like,

"You don't screw this up.

She just does it. She just blurts.

It's, like, the foot-in-mouth thing

is a real thing for her.

First the idol. Now this?

It's just too much chaos

when you have to play around someone like that.

I think Mike is right.

Maybe it's better for my game

for Emily to go right now.

But at the same time,

Mike's so dangerous.

He knows where to twist the dagger.

I don't know what to do.

I've never felt more conflicted on a vote.

Not in all the days I've played.

Mike, how you doing? I'm just looking at your face.

You're barely moving.

There's almost no expression.

MIKE: Yeah, I mean, part of the game is that

the strong get stronger and the weak get weaker.

And sometimes I feel like I'm being punished

for not being taller and stronger and younger.

I mean, I know you have to eat humble pie out here,

but it feels like that's all I've been eating.

CHRISTIAN: And just because you are trying

really, really, really hard

doesn't mean you're gonna win the Super Bowl, you know?

I was just gonna say, it's like sports.

It's like sports. Yeah, you know, maybe you should...

you should talk about this more than me, trust me.

-But, yeah. -No, it's true.

Yeah, I mean, you need the team.

You need the team that's right

for the task at hand, you know, and

this definitely was the task

-for this six. -ANGELINA: I will say, though,

we didn't get Zac Brown today, but we got Ozzy

-and spearfish at our camp today. -Yes, that's true, yeah.

-ANGELINA: Yeah. Yeah. -MIKE: I mean, after Ozzy did

a Herculean effort in that challenge,

he came back and caught seven fish for us.

-It was crazy. -It was actually eight.

-Sorry. Sorry, bro. -Was it eight? -Eight, bro.

Let's get it right.

Yeah, you got to keep that number...

-those numbers, correct. -EMILY: I will say this.

I came into this experience a fan of Survivor.

You know, I remember a bit of what Ozzy did on TV.

But in real life,

Ozzy is the most humble,

down-to-earth, kind dude.

-Oh, man, thank you. Geez. -Yeah, I'm not trying to...

Sorry. I'm not trying to, like, you know, kiss your ass

or something, but it's genuine.

And as much as we're all trying to, like,

factor in existing relationships,

I think the new relationships forming

have been some of the most interesting and powerful

that I've experienced in Survivor.

And I've loved getting to know everybody here.

PROBST: And yet, you're all about

to write down a name

and completely blindside one of the six of you.

So, Ozzy, one way to look at this

is it's a crisis point.

If you vote out the wrong person,

-this tribe may not recover. -OZZY: Well, Jeff,

the fact of the matter is this also presents

an opportunity to build trust.

Look, I'm willing to put it all out there for these guys,

these guys that I've played with.

They can trust me,

and they know that in situations where we need something,

I'm gonna go out and do the best job I possibly can.

PROBST: Christian, Ozzy's looking at the other side,

which is, if you survive, the bond gets stronger,

and that purpose can lead to more cohesion.

Uh, certainly, but there's a big "if" at the beginning of that.

If you survive.

And part of that is trust, trusting

that not only the group is cohesive,

but that whatever vote comes next

is also not gonna come your way.

PROBST: Steph, how do you balance

your individual gut

versus trying to assess what the group gut is

to make sure that they are aligned,

and it's not you tonight?

STEPHENIE: It's hard. I mean,

I'm trying to trust my gut.

But in a game where you're getting so much information

from so many different people, it's really hard.

There is no, "100% your gut is right. Go with that."

Angelina, how do you balance it?

I always let my instincts

be the last word.

And it's the observations. It's the head, it's the heart.

It's all baked in, saying, "This is what I feel is right.

This is what I'm drawn to. This is the right next step."

That's all I've got out here.

Mike, obviously, it has to serve you.

It has to serve everybody when they make a vote.

-Yeah. -But it also has to serve the group,

to some degree.

MIKE: Well, the thing that's difficult is,

I have preexisting relationships

with some of these people.

I am bonding

with some people more than others. It's--

You know, it's, like, the dynamics of the group.

And then there's also, yeah, your individual,

you know, affinities.

And so, when it comes to voting, it's like, yeah,

there's some people you'd rather lose with than win with.

-You know what I mean? -PROBST: And yet, Mike,

it's part of the fun, because you're given permission

to do your best lying,

to try to test your powers of persuasion.

"If I can get somebody off of their idea and onto my idea."

MIKE: Yeah, maybe there's something about

my, uh, profession, which is basically, selling people

on a... like, a random dream

that's totally unnecessary,

and, like, you know, asking them

to put a lot of money and resources into it.

And until you actually turn in what you've done,

you feel like you're kind of a con artist.

You know what I mean?

That skill is something that I've honed over the years,

and it is something that, like, yeah,

you wonder if it can be put to work out here,

and it's a muscle that

I guess it-it has a...

There's a natural aspect to it, you know?

PROBST: Christian, the interesting thing about

what Mike just said is, he said, "In my job,

"I have to create things, and I have to sell people.

"I have to almost con them into believing me

"until I'm able to deliver the finished product

and show that it was worth it."

Yeah, I'm not sure the WGA is...

I wouldn't put it on my business card, but okay.

PROBST: But what I'm getting at is

that's a skill every single person needs in this game.

What makes it unique with Mike is that

that is his actual profession.

Well, I'll be honest. I've never heard Mike describe it

in that way, that that's part of his job.

But, like, I-I can see it.

I think that in every one of our professions,

there is some kernel we take with us

that is useful here on the island.

PROBST: So then, how about for you?

From the standpoint of,

in your career, things are very black and white, I'm guessing,

that you look at things, "If I do this,

this will happen," versus out here,

-it's much more vague. -CHRISTIAN: Yeah, I mean,

a lot of my perspective has changed after playing Survivor,

even in my own profession, for sure.

I mean, uh, it gave me

a lot of ideas for my research, for one,

but more broadly, it opened my eyes to...

...when you're working in a world where

all the information you have might not be true,

how do you investigate what's true and what's not?

That's just how it works in all kinds of professions.

So, yeah, it does recontextualize things.

I mean, I think it makes me more aware,

and I think that's a good thing.

PROBST: Emily, how often

during an afternoon

where you're trying to figure out who to vote out,

do you change your mind or consider changing your mind?

EMILY: I think you have to come into conversations

with an open mind, which means

being open to changing your mind.

And I would say, it happens half a dozen times.

Sometimes it goes A to B and then B back to A

and then to D and then to C.

And I will say, sitting here

in Tribal Council at this exact moment,

I am having a sinking feeling.

-Really? -EMILY: You know, I think you pick up

on vibes, right?

And...

...vibes are off.

Wow. Anybody else

understand what Emily's talking about?

What are you feeling?

EMILY: Um, that

you go about this game thinking one thing,

and then all it takes is one or two conversations,

and you find yourself,

"Huh. Did I consider it from that angle?"

And wondering if there were things

that I didn't think about that would result

in my torch being snuffed tonight.
