Aristotle's Poetics has been taught for a long time...

...as a universal theory for creating a drama.

Homer is thought to be the ideal.

Compared to Achilles, Alexander lamented...

...that he didn't have a Homer.

But of course we don't intend to be the one, either.

There are seven wonders in this world.

The seven wonders which are beyond human wisdom...

...keep the order of the world.

Woman, you've grown a little.

Did you become Darius' woman?

How rude! I'm not anyone's wife yet.

You have a strong character.

Aren't you afraid of me?

I don't see you as a bad person like others do.

So why do I need to be afraid of you?

My Alexander.

Destroy the world quickly.

Alexander.

Alexander.

What's the matter, Alexander?

I was dreaming.

Dreaming? Before the battle?

Of a woman.

I can't tell if you are joking or serious.

What's the matter, Hephaestion?

I feel you are going away...

Destroy!

All forces advance!

Lady Roxanne. It has started.

How can you sleep at a moment like this?

I was dreaming...

Dreaming?

The only thing I'm afraid of is myself.

Alexander, how should we fight?

Attack at night.

The only way to overcome such a great difference in forces...

...is to attack during the night, Great King.

I didn't come here to steal a win.

Great King!

Alexander.

Father...

Darius... I knew he wanted to overwhelm me...

I didn't expect that he would bring so many soldiers.

Are you afraid?

Afraid?

The only thing I'm afraid of is myself.

When I face an overwhelming threat, I feel an uncontrollable impulse...

...in my heart.

Right now, in front of these soldiers...

...I feel joy rather than fear.

That impulse has driven Darius this far...

If we win this battle, everything will be done.

Let's go back to the strategy meeting, Alexander.

Cleitus, this impulse will never go away.

Are you all right, Cassandra?

Cleitus!

Cleitus.

It's... It's nothing...

Cleitus.

We, the Left Wing Army...

...stopped the enemy's cavalry.

We've won...

We took away his speed. He doesn't have anything left.

Tell Commander Mazaios of the Right Wing Army.

Close in while overwhelming Macedonia's left wing.

Shoot! If we continue to fight like this...

Commander!

The enemy has attacked the left wing, too.

Commander Parmenion is fighting hard, but if this continues...

Father...

What's the matter, Philotas?

I wonder what the Great King is thinking.

Some younger soldiers are saying they want to go back to Macedonia.

If this continues...

How about yourself?

What?

You already know...

...that the Great King's real goal is beyond Persia.

Whether we should go on or go back...

...the time to make that decision is coming after this battle.

Philotas, what do you want the Great King to choose...?

I am old.

The Great King doesn't listen to my advice anymore.

Hey, what are you doing?! You're losing the alignment!

Left Wing Phalanx, you are advancing too much!

Bring them back.

Seventh Unit!

Go forward from the Right Wing Center, keeping the fourth formation!

Central Air Force!

Go to aid the Left Wing Phalanx!

What a surprise!

I guess Plato's disciple doesn't have manners.

Manners are given to a person who deserves it.

That's a good one! You'll be a good sophist.

I heard you came back to Athens from Macedonia...

...and you're teaching here.

I had some research to do, too.

And I've come to one conclusion.

I want you to return the Platohedron.

Platohedron... That's the secret jewel...

...in which my teacher Plato put all of the knowledge of the universe.

If it is in someone's care, it must be Socrates.

Even if it's that "insane" Socrates...

Certainly Plato came here when he died.

Plato!

Diogenes, this...

The entire universe is in this.

That is, if a careless person holds it, he could destroy the world.

Please take this somewhere people cannot get at it...

That is my last wish.

It really is the Platohedron!

What you're looking at is me in the past.

As Plato wished, I threw it into the chaotic universe.

What a stupid thing you have done!

That was not supposed to go to anyone.

But that man may bring it from the depth of Chaos...

Our symbol, the moon, has risen.

Now is the time for victory!

Move forward!

What chaos...!

Chaos.

Getting the truth from it is like finding a jewel in the sand.

Without an extraordinary man, it's impossible even to hope for it.

But I feel a force in this chaos.

It is a power which can cut through all of the chaos!

I suppose heaven also sees that.

Oh...!

I suppose Alexander of Macedonia isn't like the man we heard rumors of.

Really. After all, he doesn't match our Great King Darius III.

Hey, what's going on?

Oh...!

The moon...!

What an ill omen! The moon, our symbol of Persia...!

Don't worry about it! Move forward!

What's going on?!

Let's go!

Great King!

Go where?

I see!

Everyone! Listen!

The moon is the symbol of Persia!

Look! The moon is waning.

It is the symbol of Persia waning!

It's a sign of victory! The sign of our victory!

It's the beginning.

Everything in the world is responding to Alexander.

Great King! The enemy is launching a counterattack!

Look...

Two powers pull against each other, strong passion!

That passion has the power to pull the Platohedron...

...from the depth of Chaos.

What?!

Platohedron.

Young man from Macedonia, you've been entertaining me.

Now I'll get serious.

All right. I myself will give you your death.

Great King!

Great King!

Great King!

Devil King! That's the Devil King!

Forward! Now is the time for victory!

After all, it is an overwhelming victory.

Was that really Alexander?

Woman, we meet again.

You...! You're...

I am a god.
