location, that's not possible.

So there's nothing we can do?

There's one other option.
An immunotherapy drug, Heboxin.

It's had a lot of success

in shrinking and even
eliminating this kind of mass.

Well, that sounds good.

It is, but the drug
is in the trial phase

through the Mayo Clinic.

What happens if we don't treat it?

The mass will continue to grow

and will most likely be fatal.

How long?

Less than six months.

Well, it causes shrinking and atrophy

in portions of the brain over time.

But right now, it's only
affecting the motor pathways,

muscle spasms and weakness.

But the positive piece is

that because of the cutting-edge work

that Dr. Rabari does here at Gaffney,

we caught this much sooner
than we normally would have,

so we can immediately start treatments

that will hopefully slow
the progression of the disease.

Slow, not stop, not cure?
