[Qingfeng Stronghold]

Buddy, you're awake.

Come on.

[Second Master of Qingfeng Stronghold]

Have a drink with us.

None of you can take a hit.

[Lady Shisan Chief Master of Qingfeng Stronghold]

Who else wants some?

-You go! -You go! Why don't you go?

I wouldn't dare.

[Qingfeng Stronghold]

You guys can't possibly beat my sister.

Don't end up taking a tumble

and embarrassing yourselves.

Do you know why I'm the boss of Qingfeng Stronghold?

[Qingfeng Stronghold]

A bunch of lousy men—

you only know how to bully women.

Does anyone else

want to come up and try their luck with me?

A bunch of useless bastards.

I'm done wasting time on you.

How about I give it a try?

You were still unconscious when we rescued you.

Your hand is injured.

Don't push yourself.

Just go back and rest.

Our Lady Shisan is not to be trifled with.

Don't risk your life

just to show off.

I never bully women.

I'll give you a one-hand handicap.

Great! Wonderful!

Fight! Fight!

Great! Let's see it!

Come on, fight!

Bravo! Bravo!

[Pursuit of Jade]

[Episode 18]

Help! Bandits! Someone help us!

Who are you?

Our master wants to see you.

Please.

My benefactor,

I thank you for saving my life.

Come up.

Mother!

Bao'er!

Let go of my mother!

No need to repay me later.

Just submit yourself to me now.

Mr. Qi?

It's you.

Yes.

In this world, apart from me,

who else would care for you so deeply

as to come and save you before the entire city is massacred?

Here's your reward.

S-So it was you.

Why has your face changed?

Does this face

look good?

If I hadn't fixed this face,

how could I have brought myself to see you?

You dare kill our men? You're asking for death!

How impudent! Do you even know who's in this carriage?

Stop!

Get lost!

Min.

Yuanqing.

Weren't you headed to Lucheng?

How come you're in Lin'an?

I heard you fell into the river and went missing, Yuanqing,

and I was beside myself with worry,

so I came to find you first.

Are you injured?

It's just a scratch. Nothing serious.

Min, go wait for me at Baxia first.

Then we'll go to Lucheng together.

Even if Father flies into a rage,

I'll take the blame for you.

What about you? Aren't you coming with me?

I spent a fortune to bring

all the bandits of Qingfeng Stronghold under my command.

This will be my big "gift" to the Marquis of Wu'an.

Since they all prioritize Lucheng,

I'll slaughter all the citizens around here

and strip him of all public support.

I set up that grain-buying scheme

to help you,

but I never expected

the Marquis of Wu'an to turn my plan against me.

You must be extra careful from now on.

They say the Marquis of Wu'an never miscalculates.

But maybe this time, I've found his weak spot.

Yuanqing, you've learned from the Marquis of Wu'an since childhood.

Knowing him as you do,

you've already outshone him.

You were born to defeat him.

Min, with your unparalleled strategy

and my courage and strength,

this world is destined to be ours.

You bet.

I said I'd help you find this woman before, Min.

Looks like I was meddling.

Guys!

Follow me into the county town

and get my woman back as well!

Hyah!

[Luo's Pawnshop]

Let's go! That way!

[Lin'an]

Help! Help!

Move!

Hurry up!

Hurry! Move!

Kneel!

Kneel!

Kneel!

They say you guys know that butcher lady.

Tell me, what is her name,

and where is she?

Whoever speaks

will live.

You speak.

Sir,

I don't know who you're talking about.

This is what you get for fooling me.

Your Highness.

You just hooked up with Lady Shisan,

and you're already looking for another woman?

Exactly.

Our Chief Master is hot-tempered

and holds grudges.

You'd better be careful, or you might lose your life.

I'm not doing this out of desire—

it's for revenge.

You speak.

I... don't... know!

Run!

Run!

Loose the arrows! Shoot them dead!

Hurry!

Run!

One got away! Bring her back!

You speak.

You bastard, I...

Don't know!

You'd better

truly not know.

You've killed my father

and my mother.

What's the point of me living alone?

You beast.

Kill me if you have the guts.

Kill me!

You've got more backbone than your father.

I'll grant your wish!

I assume you don't know either.

I... I know! I know!

I know! I know. I know!

I know.

My Lord, that butcher lady you mentioned,

her... Her name is Fan Changyu.

I... I know her!

She lives right over there.

I can take you there right now.

Please spare my life, My Lord!

Shut up. Enough. Lead the way.

We won't kill you. Come on.

Okay.

Fan Changyu.

My Lord, this is it.

My Lord, this is it.

This is Fan Changyu's house.

Are you sure this is the place?

You didn't bring us to the wrong house, did you?

I'm sure. I'm sure.

Oh right, she raises pigs in her backyard.

You don't believe me?

Come, I'll show you right now.

I despise disloyal people like you the most—

betraying even their own.

Dying like this

is too easy for her.

Drag her body out and flog it.

How can you be so heartless, woman?

I came to find you,

yet you want my life.

I'll show you

what true heartlessness is!

If I die here,

you and the people in the cellar won't stand a chance of escaping.

Let me go,

and I'll spare you and the people in the cellar.

Why should I trust you?

Your Highness.

Then take a gamble and see.

Your Highness.

Your Highness?

Your Highness, are you alright?

Your Highness?

Your Highness?

Hey, what's going on here?

Your Highness,

so this is the "revenge" you were talking about?

Isn't this way of getting revenge

even more gratifying?

Get lost.

I'm not done yet.

Alright, alright.

Please go on. Go on.

If the Marquis of Wu'an saw this,

wouldn't he be heartbroken?

What does this have to do with the Marquis of Wu'an?

What?

Still dare not admit you're his woman?

[Marquis of Wu'an, Xie Zheng]

Right.

I admire the Marquis of Wu'an,

and I want to be his woman.

What does that have to do with you?

Why don't you try and see

between me and the Marquis of Wu'an,

who is better at caring for a woman?

Come.

You're holding me hostage,

so I have to make it look real, right?

How else can I get you out?

How else can I help you hide the fact that there're people in the cellar?

If your blade had gone two cun deeper,

I'd have been killed.

What,

do you wish to take on 100 men by yourself?

You talk too much.

Behave!

Second Master is here.

What's this supposed to mean, Second Master?

You want to take this woman back to Qingfeng Stronghold?

I've finally found someone to my liking.

If you want to marry Lady Shisan,

kill this woman.

Second Master, so you expect me

to stay loyal to Lady Shisan my entire life,

to be devoted to only her?

You've got four wives, Second Master,

and the number of women you've taken is beyond count.

We are both men.

Why do you demand that of me?

You're not wrong, actually.

But with my sister's temper,

if she found out you brought another woman

back to Qingfeng Stronghold,

she'd kill you.

When I return to the stronghold,

I'll explain it myself.

Fine.

Let's go.

Back to the stronghold.

Get on the horse, quick.

This trick again!

Someone! Help!

His Highness is taken hostage! Quick, save His Highness!

You idiots!

I have to lure the bandits away.

Only then will Changning and the others be safe.

You bastards! Come and catch me!

-Catch her! -Hyah!

Your Highness! Wake up! Your Highness!

Stop! Stop right there!

Stop!

Don't run!

Catch her!

His Highness's woman is trying to escape!

Bring some men to help me chase her! Quick!

-Stop! -After her!

Grandma, I'm hungry...

Quiet. Just wait a little longer.

In a while,

I'll heat up some dumplings for you.

Sister.

Sister.

Sister.

Sister.

Sister.

Sister.

Sister.

Sister, where are you?

Sister.

Sister, where are you?

Sister, where are you?

Over there.

Go check over there.

There. There!

Why don't I see Changning?

Changning has asthma.

She can't stay in this cellar for too long.

Changyu has hidden her in a safe place.

I'll go check upstairs.

Changning?

Changning?

Changning?

[Lin'an]

Why aren't you running anymore?

Why did you stop?

Attack!

Loose the arrows!

Second Master!

Second Master!

This is outrageous!

Avenge the Second Master!

After her!

News came that you were in danger on the battlefield.

Though the Prime Minister didn't speak of it,

he was deeply worried,

unable to sleep day and night.

Now that he's learned you've recovered and escaped danger,

he specially sent me to visit you.

I didn't expect to run into you along the way.

I appreciate Uncle's concern.

Senior, please also convey this to Uncle:

I'm hard to kill

and managed to survive.

I bet the one who tried to kill me

must be losing sleep over it by now.

We've been fellow apprentices for years,

and I should've protected you.

But unfortunately...

I had no choice, you know.

It's fine.

Even though you were physically by the Prime Minister's side,

it's enough that your heart was with me.

What are your plans for Lucheng now?

Plans?

I'm not even fully recovered from my injuries yet.

General He Jingyuan is holding the fort in Lucheng.

Wei Xuan was supposed to stay here supervising the troops,

which would've let me slack off a bit,

but that brat suddenly went back to the capital.

For now,

I can only keep my soldiers

safe and sound.

Only then will I have the strength to take revenge and restore my honor, right?

Your Lordship.

The falcon has returned from Lin'an.

Lin'an?

Muster 100 Blood-Robed Cavalry soldiers and follow me to Lin'an!

Yes, Your Lordship.

Search the place!

Xiaohu, does your tooth still hurt?

It stopped hurting a while ago.

Has this room been searched?

It's a complete mess inside,

so it must have been searched.

Wait. We haven't searched in here.

Go in and search!

Xiaohu.

The dumplings are covered on the stove.

Heat up 5 at a time.

Don't eat too much.

Six is okay too.

If you eat too much, your stomach will hurt.

The cured meat in the yard

will last until the snow melts.

Feed the chickens with millet.

When the chickens lay eggs,

don't eat them all.

As long as there are eggs,

you can hatch chicks.

Then you'll have eggs to eat and won't starve.

Wait for your brother to come back.

You must not go out before dawn.

Who?

Who is it?

You bastards!

I'll fight you to the death!

I'll kill you!

I'm just an old woman

with no children!

I'm not afraid of you!

You motherless scum!

You motherless scum!

You beasts!

Darn old hag.

Rambling on and on

with your filthy mouth—

you deserve to die alone.

Young lady. Nowhere for you to run now, huh?

Just submit yourself to me.

I'm much better than the Marquis of Wu'an.

If you submit to me, I'll spare your life.

If you take another step back,

you'll die without a burial place.

Report!

Report!

Report...

Your Highness, our stronghold has been massacred.

Who did it?

The survivors from the stronghold say

it was the Marquis of Wu'an's Blood-Robed Cavalry.

There were at least 100 of them.

No wonder.

With 100 Blood-Robed Cavalry soldiers,

taking a whole city would be a piece of cake,

let alone the tiny Qingfeng Stronghold.

Your Lordship.

We've searched the entire stronghold,

but we didn't find Mrs. Fan

or anyone from Lin'an Town.

Lin'an Town was massacred too.

We saved some survivors,

but Mrs. Fan wasn't among them.

We've also searched all of Xigu Lane,

but there were no signs of Mrs. Fan or Changning.

Go find her.

Let's go!
