- TYLER: Yeah improvised explosive device,

homemade bomb.

this thing out like it's

a math problem, but you
actually forget how dangerous

and terrifying it all it.

I mean you could be working
with a rigged artillery shell

or farming chemicals wired
to a battery or blasting cap,

but it saves lives.

- JJ: And, they train you?

- TYLER: No one chooses it.

You're signed up for bomb clearance duty.

After graduation, I dropped
out of technical school

two credits shy of an engineering degree.

I know it's bad, right.

When I joined the marines,
it was pretty much

a no brainer that I'd
