Rajnish Singh appealed against
the Allahabad High Court's order

in the Supreme Court.

In his appeal, he
repeated his demand that

the Taj Mahal be
declared a Hindu temple,

that 22 chambers be opened,
and that the facts be verified.

In October 2022, the Supreme Court
dismissed the plea,

deeming it a publicity-oriented litigation.

And upheld the High Court's argument.

The court firmly stated that
validating historical monuments

is not the job of the judiciary.

April, 2015.

In 2015, six lawyers filed
a petition in the Agra District Court,

Taj Mahal should be

recognized as the
Agreshwar Mahadev Temple.

And that permission should
