together all the reconstructed ships of

antiquity in one place.

We had the Penteconto.

part of the stern of a ship.

It was one of several clues that led the
first scholars to the final design.

We had to piece it together from this

No, there was also a phrase in Plato, a
sketch on a relief, a reference in
