In many ways, this book is the ultimate
example of an outsider who refused to

remain an outsider.

A man who went through incredible pain
and sacrifice to make people read about

and understand his life.

Now, his situation was a unique one,

I mean, he had a physical handicap.

But everybody's an outsider in one way
or another.
