This morning, about an hour prior,

we happened to apprehend a female subject.

The bags were opened,
and we found narcotics.

The way that we target these individuals
is based on intelligence.

And once we determine our target,

we go and grab their bags,
verify for the contents.

And in this case, it was positive.

We probably have one more in that bag.

Oh, this one's heavy. Whew.

This is what they use. Dryer sheets.

The dryer sheets are used to conceal

the scent of narcotics, you know?

Uh, try to sway our dogs
from hitting on them.

But obviously, uh, it doesn't work.

So far, I mean, this bag's
at least 50 to 60 pounds.

A ton of dryer sheets.

You want to make sure
that they have no other

narcotics on them, you know?

Sometimes they double dip,
and they just don't

only take marijuana,
they take, uh, whatever,

whatever they get paid for, you know?

Sometimes they conceal them in here,

in between the seams of the pants, so...

'cause we want to make sure

we capture everything here.

These are coming in
from the Czech Republic,

which is not where they're manufactured.

It's not the typical labeling we see.

These appear to be counterfeit.

As a nicotine product,
these are very, very addictive.

And we don't know

what the potency is
of one of these pouches.

We don't know the age of who is
going to be consuming this.

This is an FDA controlled product.

You have to be of legal age
to buy this stuff in the United States.

But you can go to any website,
just click a button,

and you can have this sent to you.

So any child can buy this.
And we don't know what's in it.

We will secure this, do research,
see who is shipping these.

And we will consult with
the Food and Drug Administration

to see if they want to take
any further actions also.

So even though it's important
to intercept this,

it's the multiple steps that
happen after it's intercepted

that are very, very important to us

because we need to use the information

to fight these illegal trends.

that Ozempic uses for their product.

We want to protect our, our companies here

from others using their name.

From the amount that's in here,

who's receiving this and why.

Are they running an unlicensed operation

that can really harm somebody?

is probably outside

and find them at that hotel.

in order to smuggle it
out of Miami International Airport today.

What seemed suspicious to me was that

they separated and dissolved
into two groups.

They were walking like
they barely know each other.

They were walking slow and smooth.

It's also a big red flag to us

that they don't have
any proper documentation

that permits them to be
in the United States.

They could either be bringing in people

or they could have been people
who are living here

and they're going back out
to Mexico that way.

Are you involved in human trafficking?

Human smuggling
is a billion-dollar industry.

They cross the people,
they go back to Mexico,

and then cash flow goes south
and also north.

I talked to one of the guys.
He didn't say much.

They're guides, probably.

We interviewed
these four as individuals.

They admitted that they brought bodies.

They are considered guides,
which we know them as "coyotes."

Three of them were actually
their first offense.

We let them know
that they could be prosecuted

if we ever see them again.

One of them already had three priors.

HSI and the district attorney
will start looking into his case

to see penalties
that he would be receiving.

we have caught different cargo

that they used to smuggle,
especially cocaine,

coming from all of South America.

Earlier, we got a case

that was cocaine,

concealed into battery terminals.

I think we have 48 total here
on the two pallets.

Thirteen were not loaded.

Thirty-five had cocaine in them.

Let's take it back over to the office,

so we can kinda get a better look at it.

We were able to identify
who was responsible

for bringing this over.

He was picked up in Colombia.

And today's the day
that he gets extradited

into the Miami International Airport.

When the cargo came in,

CBP did a inspection on it, right?

- So they ran the x-ray.

And they found anomalies
inside the batteries here.

So that's when they took it out

and did a, you know,
a more thorough investigation.

that were loaded
with cocaine are cut down.

it's still equally dangerous for
the person who's injecting them?

Yes.

These types of products...

...they are not admissible,
and they'll be destroyed.

What we have next is,
these are nicotine pouches,

which are misdeclared.

And as you can see, this is one

of the more popular brands now out there.

But it's not coming from the country

that we would expect that
to be coming from.

Yeah. So, yeah, we would have
general labeling issues with these.

And every tobacco product,

we need marketing authorizations.

We're concerned about the targeting
of the youth population.

This can be going to somebody underaged.

Exactly. So we would do a full review

to determine its admissibility.

And if not, we'd let,
for CBP, for seizure as well.

So we got this box

of what are labeled as Ozempic.

There's a demand for Ozempic.

They're injectable drugs.

And products like that,

they need to go to their physician.

One thing that's notable
about the Ozempic here

is it's not really labeled
for the US market

and it may not have an approval
for use in the US.

You can see it's got
foreign language on it,

and you cannot tell what
the instructions for use are.

Another thing
to consider is this is being

shipped outside
of proper temperature controls

and inside a box that is not

what the manufacturer's intended
quality standards for shipping are.

So that should be a red flag for us?

Yes.
It'll be returned for a refusal.
