These foreigners

brought cannons and gunpowder here

to protect their country's business

and mobilized their entire national army

to protect their merchants,

determined to sell their goods

to our country

and seize our domestic market.

I believe that
when these merchants come in,

the influence behind them

far surpasses

the power of an army.

In the way of commerce,

great strategies serve the nation.

We have to find a way
to compete with them.

It would be best to go to their countries

and do business there.

Let people make full use of
their abilities,

and let goods flow to
where they're needed.

Perhaps only by doing this

can we find

a way out.
