said for Moses to take off his sandals
for he was standing on Holy Ground.

He sent Moses back to Egypt,
used him to free His people,

the very people
who had first rejected him.

But he performed wonders.

He led his people out of Egypt

through the Red Sea
and into the wilderness.

And it was here

that Moses reminded them of God's promise.

God's promise to Abraham.
