During the soviet reign.

The prison was the site
Of brutal torture and death,

And many people believe
That it is hell on earth,

And people believe that
This place is haunted.

when she opened the door to
That cell, she found it empty.

right then, she knew her fiancé
Had already been executed.

she was so grief-stricken

that she hanged herself
In the same cell.

So it may not be able to pick up
This kind of dark mass shadow.

That's one of the weirder things

And cover the attic space

As best as possible and to try
And capture that movement

of the entity moving away
From us.

As if I got tangled
With something.

I checked to see where our cable
Wires were for our cameras,

And sure enough,
Nothing's there.

So what I want to do
Is I want to show the video.

And it felt like,

At the end of this hallway.

And he had seen a figure

Standing at the top
Of the stairs,

And that was followed up

Because we were doing
A thermal sweep.

I was like, "I thought I saw
Somebody standing there."

that's very odd.

He saw me looking.

I said, "I thought somebody
Was just standing there."

And he had told me
That he had seen the same thing.

I was up here
On the second floor,

And I wanted to follow up
On these shadows

That robb and I
Had both seen there.
Yeah, yeah.

So I put the emf detector down,
And I put our camera on

So I was recording whatever
Was gonna be happening.

So what you're gonna see
Is the detector

Set up in front of the camera,
On top of this stairwell.

[ buzzing]

Now, this meter has been sitting
There almost a full hour...

Mm-hmm.

...Without so much
As a fluctuation.

And then,
Out of nowhere, we--

We get this substantial
Little hit.

By itself,
Not enough to say,

"Okay, there's something
Paranormal going on here."
Mm-hmm.

The fact that we both
Saw shadows within that area--

exactly.
That's what we try to do.

we try to build the case
On pieces of evidence

that work with each other.

obviously, in this place,

you had mentioned to us
The story of the doors--

the cell doors being opened
And closed by themselves.

So what we did
Is we took our cameras,

And we put them in the hallway

So that we could see
All these doors...
Yeah.

...And placed a microphone
In the washroom.

During our review, there was
The sound of a cell door

That was being opened
And closed.

But we had it synced up
With our d.V. Camera.
Yeah.

So we watched it.
None of them were moving.

There's just a recorded sound
That seems to be playing.

And this--
This happens sometimes.

It's called a residual.

It's a sound that almost seems
To be trapped in time.

Things will speak up to us

While we're not trying
To engage them.
