the 6th 'C'-grader of School 20 Kolya Gerasimov

found a time machine in an empty building

who secretly flew to the Earth to seize the Mielophone.

The Encyclopedia of lnventions, 8th edition, Moscow, 2082,

offers the following information on the Mielophone.

Mielophone - a device developed at Professor Seleznyov's laboratory

on the basis of the hyper-selenin super crystal.

lt can register and decipher the brain's biocurrents

at a range of 6 meters.

With the Mielophone, one can read the thoughts of any creature,

provided the latter has any thoughts at all.

The device can be used

exclusively for scientific purposes.

Finding out that the device is at the Space Zoo with Alice Seleznyova,

who uses it for scientific purposes,

the pirates hurry there.

Resorting to guile, they take possession of the device.

They are confident that the one who knows what the people around him think

can rule over them.

However, they fail to carry out their insidious plot

because Kolya, aided by his new friends,
