If you knew deep within your soul

that there was only one person in the world meant just for you,

the only person who could make you happy.

What would you give up? What would you sacrifice?

And how long would you search for them? How many centuries?

And if you ever did find them, then what?

Could you ever let them go?

Wouldn't you grab on to them with both arms,

and never, never let them go?

Oh, why else would we go to Paris on a jet?

You didn't have to kill the pilot.

Charlotte?

No, two more pages. I want to know the end.

Now.

What a pity. - What?

It isn't your fault.

Let me guess,

the girl had the prettiest eyes.

Ignore her, Louise. You'll get lucky soon.

Yeah, soon.

Watch out, man!

Freeze! On the ground! Now!

Get down now! Hands behind your head! On the ground!

Spread your legs! On the ground!

Stay down!

Freeze!

Out of the way!

Let go! Police!

Ow!

You there!

Hi.

Did you see a guy running past here? About this tall?

Hooded sweatshirt?

No, sorry.

So what have you got?

Nothing, not a trace.

Son of a...

Mind if I sit down? I need a break.

That guy was too fast for me.

So, what'd he do?

Who?

The guy who runs too fast.

He ripped off a Russian pimp we were about to arrest.

Oh.

Fool probably didn't know who he ripped off,

but he really could've screwed us up bad.

Tom.

Hi.

Looks nasty.

Doesn't hurt.

There's broken glass all over.

Thanks for the warning.

Though you're late.

So, what now?

I put you in cuffs.

You gotta catch me. - Are you serious?

I got away once.

I didn't know who I was chasing.

But now I know who's chasing me.

You think that will make you run faster?

You're weird for a cop.

We could...

Stop!

Come on. I don't want to hurt you.

Sorry, Tom.

"Insufficient funds. Contact your bank."

Hi, sweetheart.

You didn't say your probation officer was so nice.

May I have a glass of water?

My pleasure, dear.

- Hey, man! You nuts?! - Shove it, jerks!

Let her through.

[translated] Cold nights

Let your eyes shine

Hollow dreams

And my soul makes its demands

Fast breathing

Our bodies quiver

Gently trembling...

And my soul is burning

I'm dying of thirst.

Buy me a drink with my money.

Hey! Don't worry.

You keep it.

Think of it as payment for looking into those beautiful eyes of yours.

Where are your friends?

What friends?

Nobody goes out alone at your age.

I'm a solo artist.

You basically have two choices if you want to be different,

You are destroyed by their world,

or you create your own.

You need money first.

You need courage.

And you have both.

Enough for two.

I think I'm gonna go now.

Good luck.

You just don't see it.

How your eyes reveal your true nature,

with every glance.

What do you mean?

It's what's inside you.

What do you see?

Something special.

Rare.

And breathtaking.

You're the first human to notice it.

I'm not human.

In Berlin, a tragic plane crash last night.

Flight originating from Paris came down within city limits...

The lions first dig into the fallen prey,

always a bloody but fascinating spectacle.

I've been so excited about you coming I haven't slept all day.

Nora.

Come!

Good evening.

What did you do to me?

Take a seat.

What did you do to me?

Please, don't.

I know just what you need.

What is it?

A new life.

To immortality.

You're all crazy!

This is bullshit.

Oh.

It looks like your new conquest doesn't understand.

You'll have to show her proof.

If you want her to learn how to swim, throw her in the water.

You have a girl for me? - Yes.

Does she have experience? - Not yet.

What are you doing with me?

I will teach you something you don't want to learn.

Show her no mercy.

The more evil the man, the sweeter the blood.

She told me you're a shy girl.

We'll take care of that.

Bitch, I paid for you!

She learns fast.

Why don't we treat ourselves to pimps more often?

Later.

Oh, Louise.

Pretty, pretty please.

You already have two red ones you don't drive.

Let go.

Let go.

Morning. - Morning.

Morning. - Morning.

What's with all this shit?

Hey, Ohlsen, where are the stiffs?

They're downstairs.

Morning. - Hi.

Did you tell anybody?

Why would you think that?

So, how many stiffs are there?

Two. A burned body here. The second one's in the back.

They died about eight hours ago.

Is the one in the back burned too?

Yeah. - Who found them?

Two young kids. - Take a look at this.

Well, I'll be God damned.

Am I dead?

You won't quench that thirst with abstinence.

Good.

So, what is it like?

Yes.

Oh, yes.

You have no idea what wonders await you.

I know how you feel, Lena.

I remember my own transformation.

It was a court costume ball.

It all happened so fast.

I hated her at first. How could she do something like that to me?

But then we travelled all over Europe together.

She showed me the world and opened my eyes.

When she burned to death a century later on a beach in Nice,

I wanted to join her.

I was so desperate, so lost.

But something held me back,

a longing, a hope,

so I began to search once again.

And now...

Finally, I've found you.

There's no way the could've doctored the surveillance tape so quickly

Hmm.

There.

Huh?

Go figure, we got a witness.

Zoom in.

What's on his ear?

Wow, cool!

She should have a weeding dress, you know?

Welcome to the family.

You look fantastic now.

Shall we? - I have no shoes.

Oh, my sweet poor Cinderella.

You take yours.

Press.

Whoever has the fewest bags pays.

Got a favourite restaurant, Lena?

So we eat?

Only for the fun of it.

We eat, drink, do lines, and screw as much as we want,

And we never get fat, pregnant or addicted.

Relax and enjoy.

Think of the chicks who'd love to do it.

What have we here?

Smiling suits you.

Nora, the waiter is not on the menu.

There goes my dessert.

Bon appetit.

It doesn't fill me up, but it still tastes great.

Mmm! Mm!

So, how old are you?

Oy. - Never ask a woman's age.

If Louise hadn't found me at the Love Parade, I'd be 37 and disgusting.

Hey, sweetheart.

Smoking is not allowed here.

Anything else you wanted to know?

Are there a lot of you?

There are 40 women in Europe, a 100 worldwide.

And the men? - There are none.

They were too loud, too greedy, and too stupid.

Some were killed by humans, and we killed the rest of them.

Of course after that we swore never to bite a man again.

Long live emancipation.

Yes, for over 200 years, no man,

whether mortal or immortal, tells me what to do.

No boss, no king

no husband.

What other woman can claim that for herself?

Excuse me?

You hit on me again, and I'll make sure your ass is fired!

You're right. I wasn't very nice.

He's really cute, right?

So, why treat him that way?

I don't want to hurt him.

But you just did.

I mean really hurt him.

Humans are just so breakable.

Let's go!

Charlotte!

Charlotte!

You're beautiful.

So beautiful.

I didn't mean to rush you.

I'm sorry.

Stupid Louise.

Stupid, stupid, stupid Louise.

"Print job in a print queue."

Good morning.

You're early. - Yeah.

Did you go home?

Couldn't sleep.

Why not? - Don't know.

Scared I'll miss something.

A word of advice,

If you wanna retire, get a life besides work.

Like a hobby, right? - No, a sex life.

Kissing, you know?

I'm working on it.

Are you going out?

I haven't been home for the past two nights.

You're old enough.

Lena?

How did you find me?

Hi. Wow, you've changed.

You know, you've got a police record.

Are you gonna try and arrest me again?

No, you scare me too much.

Hold on.

You ripped off some dumb jerk who pimps out little girls.

If I arrest you,

your 18 months probation for car theft turns into prison time.

And that's not fair.

Here.

What's that?

Open it.

I wanted to wash it,

but my machine was broken.

I found it behind that pillar after you'd left,

and I could stand up again.

Thanks.

Yeah.

You've changed your style.

Nice. - It's a dress.

No, it's more than that.

You only saw me once.

You get a feel for these things in my line of work.

Your hair is not dyed anymore. Looks nice.

And your shoes. Those shoes aren't your style.

You wooble when you walk.

Anything else?

Yeah.

The first time I met you you wouldn't have coffee.

Then will you leave me alone?

We're just getting started.

Just once.

I promise.

So, come on.

Here.

So, how's that hand?

It's healed.

Not bad. - I have good genes.

Why would you want to be policeman?

What do you mean?

It's just you seem like a normal guy.

Well, thank you.

It's one of the few jobs where they pay you for having adrenaline rush.

Racing through streets,

and chasing bad guys, kicking in doors...

So you said that when you applied, didn't you?

Of course. And you?

Did you always want to be a pickpocket?

No more.

That's good.

Did I say something?

I gotta go. - You do?

Yeah. - Too bad.

Can I walk with you then?

Yeah.

Everything okay? - Yes.

You promised, c'mon!

Tear it up after I leave.

Lena, why can't we see each other? It doesn't make sense.

My boyfriend would freak.

You think I can afford these clothes?

It's my only way of getting out of here.

You're one lousy liar.

"There's a strange element among us."

Have you had enough nightlife?

Louise would say, you'll get used to it.

She wants you to be happy.

I became too depressed for her.

Of course now she thinks

she's spent centuries looking for you.

You'd better not disappoint her.

I was a very untalented actress.

I wouldn't have survived talkies.

Louise and I met on the opening night of this film.

My little daughter and husband had already gone home.

You were beautiful.

Would you still bite me?

Or Nora or Lena?

Oh, Charlotte. Don't spoil our night.

Because we're feeling so damn happy.

You all seem to be quite moody today.

You spoil all of us.

We don't want to be plagued by unfulfilled dreams.

I miss the sun.

You know I was honestly afraid you'd miss something I couldn't give you.

Where is he? - In the back.

Who are you? - Drop it now!

Are you a cop? - Now!

First drop your gun. Slowly.

Show me.

Put me in the most secure cell in the best prison.

Please.

How did you get in here?

Hello, boys!

Mwah!

Get out of there!

We'll press charges!

Please don't do that.

You heard me, now get out!

Why not take off those dumb uniforms and jump in here, with us?

What was that? - We should get in the water.

There's so much space.

What do they pay you that's worth missing out on all this fun?

Look at that. She took off her top.

This is our big chance.

Our last chance. C'mon, let's get in here.

You won't hurt them, will you?

Promise.

Ladies.

Hello, Mr. Security man. - Hello.

What's your name? - I'm Bernd.

Bernd.

So what do you do way up there? - Well, I-I keep watch.

It's so normal. - Really?

Yeah, by all means. Totally normal.

Tell me your name.

Guess.

Chantal.

Mm-mm.

Mandy?

Babette, Nicole,

Steffi,

Isabel.

Where's my buddy? Did he cut out?

Do you know where my buddy is?

Nora!

"For Whom The Bell Tolls"

Charlotte!

Charlotte, no!

Charlotte!

Accept who you are, and stop being dramatic.

Nora!

Why did you do that? - Why not?

Forgive me. I am sorry!

Oh, please!

We need an ambulance!

Mm-hmm.

Yeah.

No, no, no!

Shh, shh, shh, shh.

Tom Serner. Leave a message after the beep.

Hello, Tom. It's me, Lena.

I...

I didn't know who else to call.

Dear God.

They're dangerous, I'm telling you dangerous.

Which illegal substances do you consume?

Who? Me? - Yeah, drugs!

Drugs? - No way!

So tell us, why did you burn both your partners?

I didn't! I told you this already.

So who did?

I didn't kill anyone.

It was the women with the devil's eyes,

and they run on the ceiling.

Aha, they have wings? - What?

They can fly?

So why the hell did I steal my Lamborghini?

What?

My Lamborghini, the car!

What colour is it? - Silver.

Silver like cross.

Where did you find the Lamborghini?

Grand Hotel.

No, let the SWAT team wait! - SWAT team?

Not my decision.

Hello, Tom. It's me, Lena. I didn't know who else to call. Dear God.

What's up? Got a woman?

Wake up, my Romeo.

No.

No!

What have you done?!

Shh.

The police are storming the hotel!

I'll stop them.

Yes, ASAP!

What floor? - Fourth.

How did they find us?

We'll take the safe cars.

Don't move!

Charlotte!

Charlotte, get in! Charlotte!

Where's Nora? - Behind me.

Stop! - Why?

Stop the car!

We've got to help her!

Fire!

She won't make it!

Charlotte! - No!

It's useless.

Don't leave me, please!

Nora!

Come on!

Gone.

Come on!

Quick, hurry!

Now, freeze!

It's over!

Lena, please.

Stop it!

We're near light.

Get out!

What a crazy day, huh?

Who was that policeman?

I saw you together.

I don't know what you mean.

How do you know him?

It's just... he tried to arrest me once for something minor.

What did you say?

Nora is dead now because of something minor?

Because of something minor we're on the run, and it's all because of you.

They found us because of you.

That's not right! I didn't say a thing. Really.

So, how did they find us?

You kill every night, remember? You don't think anyone notices that?

She's right, Louise.

We've never been good at cleaning.

Are you on her side now? - I'm on nobody's side.

So why don't you relax?

Of course.

Of course.

We need money and new passports.

Before we leave town I want to say goodbye.

It stinks like death here.

When did Charlotte last see her?

In 1923.

Asleep.

Maybe it's better this way.

Mommy.

Come.

Come. It's time.

The next sunrise we'll see is in Moscow.

Charlotte.

No!

Charlotte!

No!

I'm sorry.

Open the door! Don't do this!

Open the door! Charlotte!

No!

Open the door!

Charlotte!

I wanted to see you before I leave.

Who are you?

I can't explain it in words.

Stay there!

Let go.

Stop it. - Take a close look at this.

Let go!

No! Shit! Lena!

Look, look right at it.

I'll call an ambulance. - No, Tom. You have to look.

Look, just shut up.

Lena, no!

Come on!

I'm sorry, I had to do it.

Me too.

Jerk!

Good evening.

How do you picture your future, Lena?

Even if he stayed with you, which I doubt,

he'd only have 60 years at most.

And then...

You'll be alone.

And your loneliness will devour you bit by bit.

It's true. I know from experience.

Shut up.

No.

Lena, get out of here!

Louise, don't hurt him! Please!

I'll spare his life

on one condition.

Tell me you love me.

So I believe it.

I love you.

I love you.

I love you, Louise.

I love you.

That's the most wonderful lie I've ever heard.

No!

No!

Now it's just the two of us.

Headquarters?

I'll call a manhunt.

I'll do it.

Headquarters. Come in, please.

Okay, get the forensics in.

Headquarters. Come in.

Headquarters...

Good luck.
