I was born
in a small town.

to really discover who I am.

Like, this is not the biggest

but it did really well because
of the emotion that's conveyed.

Songwriting is like
a form of therapy for me.

It was especially
an outlet for me

after my sister
passed away.

Being able to process it
through music,

it is a way
to express things

you wouldn't know how to,

normally express.

The fact that Niall trusts us
with this song is amazing.

He trusts us to take it as
our own and kind of fly with it.

I mean,
this is high-stakes.

I wouldn't overthink

'cause sometimes,
when you do a duet,

you feel like you're forcing
something that's not there.

So, when it feels
like the right time,

But I feel like

Like singing really emotional

but also being able to perform
and keeping it real

but not getting choked up.

vulnerable I'm feeling
on the day

or how I feel in that moment.

to be caught up
in the emotion of a song

that just shows that you're so
into what the song's about.

Sometimes I get hit
by a couple of songs

that I've written
out of nowhere,

and it's just a moment.
It just happens.

Could be one of those big
