oceanologist at the university,

and the current in this bay moves
in a north-westerly direction,

which means it would have carried
Miss Mayhew's body diagonally,

taking her from your bungalow, here,

to where her body was discovered here.

And with her clothes being
left on the beach here,

we'd all assume she
swam in a straight line.

Now, you had no idea where the
currents would take Keira's body,

so you had to test it first, didn't you?

You went and found this...

..and you threw it into the sea

to observe which route it took,
which was conveniently

in a north-westerly
direction from your bungalow

directly to where Keira
began her nightly swim.

And that's when your plan
finally came together.

Keira's body was found still at sea,

not long after she drowned.

But this ball, left overnight,
ended up washing up ashore.

And that was your undoing.

But why would he do this to her?

Because he didn't want Keira
