that I feel look suspicious.

I don't know why
they look suspicious.

There's, like, zero

method to the madness.

It's just madness.

I turn around,
and right in front of my eyes

is a tree with a hole in it.

There's some liquid in the hole,
and then the Beware Advantage

is just sitting right there
in front of my eyes.

This is amazing.

Like, I'm checking off

my Survivor bucket list.

I don't know why
I went idol hunting

without wearing any pants,
but I had to just

put it in my underwear,

which I was not happy about

because I don't know what kind
of liquid that was.

We're a big-time vibes camp.

We all love each other.

However, there
is a game happening, and...

within the six,
there's actually a core four,

which is myself, Shannon,
Savannah and Rizo.

And so both Sage and Jawan
are outside of the bubble.

It's not a personal thing, but

this isn't a game where six
people get to go to the end

without some fractures.

It's so hard 'cause, like,
I love the kumbaya.

Yeah.

But it also makes you...

It's like, "Wait, is...

"is anybody saying something,
you know,

- that they're not saying to me?"
- Yeah.

- Like, it's just, like, it's...
"Is it too good to be true?"
- Yeah. Honestly...

- I haven't heard

that's why I'm like, "Is it me?"

There is a huge part of me

that's just a little bit nervous

about where I stand
in this tribe.

Because I see all of them

kind of, individually,
building those connections

and building
those relationships.

Just noticing, like,
who kind of hangs back

when we're going on walks.

Like, "Hey, we're just gonna
check out this place over here."

Like, everyone's
doing it together.

No one's really
doing it with me.

How are you feeling?
Do you feel okay?

I feel okay.

The only thing is, like, because
we're in such a good spot,

it's-it's just so hard to read,
like, even the dynamics here.

I know.

So I'm-I'm trying not to, like,

get too
hyper-focused in on that.

Being here, on Survivor,
brings me back to childhood

and just always being
that friend on the outs.

I had this thing growing up
where, like,

every "best friend" I had, like,

would eventually ghost me.

And so that happened
pretty much every grade level.

And, like, by the time,
like, senior year hit,

I was eating lunch in my car.

Like, I wasn't really,

I wasn't letting myself
get close to people,

because, like,
you just never know

when they're gonna,
uh, leave you.

What I will say, in terms
of my motivational advice,

- is don't overthink it.
- Mm-hmm.

Everything's gonna work out.

No, I agree.

That's why--
I'm trying to lean into that.

The reality is,

at some point, somebody's
gonna have to go home,

which makes me nervous.

So I want to talk to Shannon.

She seems to be
in a power position.

So I want to know
where her head's at in the game.

- My concern is,

I feel like
she's not disclosing everything.

Savannah is a huge threat.

She is strong.

I want to share it

believe Sage trusts me.

when I'm with Sage,
she's looking right in my eyes.

It feels like
we kind of have this low-key

soul sister

relationship kind of budding, but...

right now,
Savannah is my number one.

So it was very minor,
but Sage came up to me

and was just like,

"You know, I feel like Savannah

- and Rizo are really close."
- Oh, really?

- Like, something like that,
you know?
- Oh.

She was just like,
"I feel like they just keep

- having quiet conversations."
And so...
- So weird.

Sage is acting
like she has my back,

and then I come to find out
she's telling Shannon

that I talk to Rizo quietly.

We're all

talking to each other quietly.

So I don't understand

why I'm the one
getting targeted.

If you hadn't told me

that she was saying
this stuff about me,

- Uh-huh.
- I would not have
picked up on it.

And so I just say that
to warn you,

- if she's capable
of saying stuff about me,
- Yeah. Yeah.

- she's capable
of saying stuff about all of us.
- Yeah.

Yeah, no, I agree.

my majority alliance, right now,

and say, "Hey,
we need to get Sage out

"because she's not as loyal
as you guys think,

"because, hello,

she's literally stabbing me
in the back right now,"

I could do it.

or this game's hard,

I walk down the beach to think.

My wife's about to give birth,
any minute now.

It could be this exact moment.

And I feel terrible
for not being there,

but a million bucks

would give my son
the life that he deserves,

and more than
the life that he deserves,

and-and... makes me

being here worth it.

and a banana combined.

I think I'm trying

You come on Survivor,

it's this crazy atmosphere,

but you never picture

that you're gonna
get bit by a snake.

who thinks that we're
just living at some resort,

that's not true at all.

We are in the forest.

We are in the jungle.

Like, this is real out here.

There's a red mark there,

but that's kind of,
like, where it was.

And I just felt, like, a nibble,

and then I just got scared.

It's starting
to hurt there, too.

what we can eat,
what we can't eat,

dangerous animals,

things to look out for.

And so I went to the book,
and I open it up.

And there it is,
dangerous land animals,

the black and white
banded sea snake.

I immediately freak out.

This is a highly venomous snake.

I'm worried about his life,
at this point.

I'm scared out of my mind,

but I can't scare Jake.

because if I'm freaking out,

then, of course, he's gonna

be freaking out.
This is his life on the line.

I'm worried about him.
I'm scared

that maybe he won't
make it home to see his kid.

Maybe this
is gonna be the last time

I get to see him.

Oh, no.

A poisonous

snake bite?

Like, I don't think it sound--

I don't think it's good.

They're checking
to see how serious it is,

if they can treat him,

and if he can continue
in this game.

I'm hoping the best for him.

Is he breathing?

Paolo, is he breathing?

- Yeah.

What we need you to do

He's been bitten by a sea krait,

We've got a sack

This one is just
to get some fluids in him.

It's a highly toxic,
venomous snake,

so we have to treat it
as if worst possible scenario.

So is part of what Jake's
feeling, the pain from the bite,

- also, is it
some adrenaline of fear?
- Yeah.

Yeah, it's a very common thing

that people get from bites,

um, from snakes,
even nonpoisonous snake.

The-the, sort of,
the psychological effect

- Right.
- can actually have
the same impact.

So, Jake, Dr. Barry's saying

most times there is no venom.

Yeah, but the precaution is,
in case there is,

we're gonna treat this
as though it is a venomous bite.

So I know you're feeling
probably a lot of anxiety

because there's
so much happening.

It's because we're taking every
precaution for you, all right?

So try to relax if you can and
let them do what they're doing.

We've never had
anything like this happen,

where Jake had a sea krait bite,

our team immediately
got him on a boat.

This is our medical center
at base camp.

It's always here.

Jake is obviously emotionally
upset, as anybody would be,

but felt like
we should bring you

inside this, so you
really know what's happening

and can see that we are

absolutely focused
on taking care of him.

psychological experience.

All I could do

is pray that he's okay,

because I need him in this game.

for about five, ten minutes.

And the pulse didn't go up
when he sat up?

- No, heart rate's
been quite steady, actually.

when I bend my toes,

And as you can see,

Jake is not with this tribe

I will explain what happened.

This morning at Kele's camp,

Jake was in the water,
got bitten by a sea krait.

That is a very venomous snake.

Just for a little perspective,

ten times more dangerous
than a rattlesnake bite.

Oh, my God.

So, serious situation.

He immediately
was put on a boat,

taken to base camp
and our medical center,

where it was all hands on deck.

Very scary situation.

I'm happy to say Jake is okay.

He's doing
really well right now.

He's in great shape.

And for a little perspective
with the sea krait,

it's really rare
for their bites to have venom.

They usually just
want you to go away.

But...

it took a physical toll
and an emotional toll.

He's an expectant father.

You know, there was
a lot going through his head.

So there was no way
that our medical team

could even consider putting him
back into the game

with no food, no fire,

these conditions.

So we made the only decision
we could, which is

to pull Jake from the game.

I want to reassure all of you.

We've been shooting in these
waters right here for ten years.

We have a lot of Fijians
on our crew

that are born and raised here.

We talked to everybody
this morning when this happened.

We don't have a crew member

that knows anybody that's been
bitten by a sea krait.

It's extremely rare.

I know it happened,
in the same way

that you can
get struck by lightning.

But I just want to reassure you,
we're gonna be in the water.

Our crews are gonna
be in the water.

You should feel okay
to be in the water.

I asked Jake if he had
anything to pass on

to you three, and he said-- with
respect to the rest of you--

"I hope you are the final three

and I'm sorry
I couldn't help you get there."

And I think the reason
those words are important

for everybody to hear is

that is the turn
everybody's got to make.

The minute we told Jake
he was pulled from the game,

he said two things.

because the game continues."

We've gone out looking
for the immunity idol

a few times, but the truth is,

I am bad at looking

and my tribe

And so, as much as I know
our tribe really wants

to find it, personally,
I think we have

a very small percentage chance
of finding the idol.

On the outside,

I'm playing it very cool.

I don't want anyone
to know how excited I am

to be the first one on
this tribe to find an advantage.

that I don't have a vote

My family will be proud.

But everybody

to work with in this game.

So our goal right now is

to convince him not to use it
and vote him out.

This is my chance

to turn things around
for myself in this game.

I know that I can trust you

I'd slap myself forever.

Having my idol
makes a huge difference.

I am in the driver's seat
at this point,

because people know
that I could just be safe.

But this is a big decision.

to the end of this game with?

And I just have to make sure
that it's the right person.

So you have to decide, like,

- who you're voting for.
- Well, I don't know.

Like, I don't even know
if I'm playing my idol,

like that type of thing,
where it's just like...

I know. This is, like,
what you said to me on day one.

Oh, my God.

Because I know

Alex is a Libra,
like, I'm trying

to be as neutral as possible

to catch him off guard
so he doesn't play his idol.

You do what is best
for your game.

Trust your gut, I feel like.

I know that works best
with Libras.

Not a lot of pressure,
not a lot of confrontation,

but just talking out,
you know, options and theories,

because he's really
focused on himself.

I think now it's just, like,
trying to figure out, like,

who's gonna be loyal and, like,
how are we gonna work toge--

Like, is Sophi gonna stay loyal?

If Soph is gonna throw me aside,
why would I bring Soph?

- Right.
- Is kind of my thinking.

Right. And that makes sense.

Like, would she have
been loyal to me?

- Like, I don't know.

And I think that I could
actually trust you, you know?

So I thought

it was a good idea
to go and spy on them.

I'm risking my whole game
by doing this,

but I also think
that it really can help me.

When it got down to four,

I was very nervous.

I think that Soph
could have been like,

"Let's just get Alex out
and take Jeremiah with us."

-Mm-hmm.
- That's the person
who I'd want to go with,

is someone who, like, probably
would have wanted me out?

This is, like, the worst thing
that could possibly happen.

If we put the votes on Alex
and he plays his idol,

I'm going home.
My life is

on the line tonight, and so
I'm pulling out all the stops.

I'll be honest with you.
I don't think

Jeremiah is gonna
write my name down tonight.

I think he's gonna
write your name down.

- Yeah.

I just don't know.

I have to closely
look at my relationships.

Who can I trust more?

Who is the person
that's gonna get me to the end?

But then,
I also have to figure out,

what in the hell am I doing
with this idol?

Do I play it for myself
so I'm safe

or do I try
and keep it in my pocket and

use it moving forward?

So, ideally,
I would vote with Jeremiah,

my number one,
and vote out Alex.

But I need to make sure that

I don't go home
because of that idol.

And if that means
voting out Jeremiah,

I might have to do that.

This is the hardest
and most important decision

I've had to make in this game.

All right.

Let me start
by giving you my take

of this tribe
in terms of the votes at Tribal.

That seemed to be fairly easy
in that

they were both
unanimous decisions.

Then you lose Jake.

It's dramatic, it's emotional,
but what I noticed today

is you seemed rudderless.

Alex, was Jake a leader?

Is that missing right now?

Yeah, Jake definitely

was the one
who had the relationships

with all of us, I-I'd say.

And, so, yes, here we are
trying to figure out

who is it that we're gonna
try and go to the end with,

which is so hard. It's, like,

we never even had to think
about that before, and then

it's, like, we just had
to snap right into it.

Jeremiah, you were
nodding a lot.

Yeah, like, now that

we have to
draw the line in the sand

and bamboozle one of us,

it just creates a different tone

because we've never
felt like this until tonight.

So, Sophi, there is
only one way to turn--

left or I turn right.

What is it?

You trade partners,
and it's two v. one,

- then two v. one,
then two v. one. That's it.
- Yeah.

It's like a salsa dance, Jeff,

So I'm kind of used to this,
you know?

Switching partners and seeing
who I have more chemistry with,

and that's usually
when it's more fun.

Um, but no, Jeff.

The hardest part is that

we do have to get rid
of one of us tonight,

which is devastating.

But if you have to get rid
of one of your people,

you have to do it
for you to survive.

Alex, what was most different

about going back to camp
after losing again?

Well, I'm in
a unique position, Jeff.

I have an idol
and everyone knows it.

And so, it was like
a job application.

And Jeremiah and Sophi
were both trying

to apply for this position
of who I'm bringing with me

- to the next stage.
- Yeah.

And so, I don't know.

I'm looking to fill the position
in a matter of minutes here.

So how did
the job application process go?

Did you have time set aside
for each of the applicants?

Oh, absolutely.
I switched office locations.

I was at the beach
with Jeremiah.

I was in the shelter for Sophi.

And it was
a very thorough process.

And it was really just
an honest conversation

about the game so far, you know.

So it sounds a little bit more

like an interrogation
rather than a job interview.

I don't know.
I'm-I'm just used

to being on the other side
of the application process.

I'm not a good
interviewer, so...

Alex, do you enjoy
being in this spot?

- Oh, my God.
- So,

my friends at home
know I love attention,

um, which is kind of funny,

because being in this spot
right now is awful.

I will say that it was friendly.
You were very friendly.

- Yeah.

what was your pitch?

Um, so, personally, I'm already
thinking about the long game,

and I wanted to kind of
open Alex's eyes to that.

You know, I'm a very
loyal person. I've been

in the same relationship
for four and a half years.

I've had the same friends
since childhood,

the same nail technician
since high school. Like, I...

That was my favorite one,
by the way.

I'm a loyal girl.

Like, if I'm with you,
I'm with you to the end.

I hope that Alex can see that,

and I mean that
from the bottom of my heart.

How about you, Jeremiah?

That's a pretty
compelling pitch.

She just laid out
her entire life,

including getting her nails done
from the same person.

Yeah,
Alex and I have this, like,

connection, and I think
it's sort of, like,

our cheeky smiles and, like,
a twinkle in our eyes.

And, like, for two people
to come together

that think the same, act
the same, it's just so powerful.

Um, and then
when you bring in loyalty,

there's been opportunities for
me to, like, turn against Alex,

and I've never said his name.

And so, I think
what matters the most is, like,

what's resonating with Jake
the most and who he feels...

- Alex.
- I mean, Alex.

- Sorry. I'm so hungry
that, like...
- No. I know.

Um, uh, yeah, so I think

the ball's in Jake...

Yeah, I mean, absolutely.

It's kind of just, like,
where does the balance fall?

You know,
when I came into this game,

I wanted to work with someone
who, like, no one would expect,

in, like, secrecy, almost,
a-and just run the game.

I mean, it didn't work out
'cause I was with Jake,

and everyone knew
about our bromance, but...

Um, but now, it's my chance
to kind of reset.

I'm looking for someone
who I can see

going long in this game with.

Like, that's what
I'm out here for.

I'm out here to play,
and I'm out here to win.

And so, who's gonna
be that loyal person

- Yeah.
- down the road,

um, is kind of what
it just came down to.

So Sophi, is the scenario
you're going with

that Alex is going
to play his idol,

therefore, he is safe,
and he's basically

gonna decide who goes home?

Yes, sir. We all knew

that he has an idol.

And that definitely comes
into play tonight because

you don't want
to be a casualty of an idol.

But I feel that trust
with somebody who will

vote with me tonight, and we're
making that decision together.

The "we" is Alex?

No, I mean,
it doesn't have to be Alex.

It could be Jeremiah, as well.

Who knows if, you know,
Alex is bluffing us.

So you're not certain
that he's playing the idol?

I'm not certain, Jeff.
I'm not certain.

I mean, you can never be certain
in Survivor.

How about you, Jeremiah?

Because it is a bold move
to say, "I have the idol

and I will be playing it"
and then not play it.

Yeah, Alex and I had
a conversation, and I asked him,

"How would you feel
if you, like, went home

with the idol in your pocket?"

And he's like, "I would regret
that for, like, ever."

And I'm like,
"How would you feel

if you played the idol
and you didn't need it?"

He's just like,
"I wouldn't regret that.

I would want it for the future."

And yet, Sophi, that's exactly
what you would say to somebody

if you weren't gonna
play your idol.

That's the beauty of Survivor.

And so, somebody's lying here,

and somebody's gonna come out
on top after this vote,

and we'll see
who it is, you know?
