Shane's gone and my children are gone,

How was Annabelle?

She was standoffish.

in her own time. When we switched the

roles, I wanted to get everybody to sit
at one table for family dinners because

it starts to create this tradition of
like, hey, we're checking in. I love

you did that because we never sit down
as a family.

And I'll tell you, when I was with your
kids, and every time I talk about your

kids, I get so emotional. I don't even
know why.

But I wanted to be around them so much.

It made me really think about how when
I'm in my own house, I don't do that a

lot of times with my own kids.

And I'll go in my room and I'll just
like want to be alone and I'll want to

watch TV or something.

And I thought I have to go home and do
this with my own children. I know.

One thing I got to spend some time with
Annabelle, I knew that was important to

you. And one of my rule changes was.

Just have her come and sit on the couch
with us, you know, and just know that,

like, we want her here and want her to
be part of the family. Right. So I think

that if you can lead with that and
encourage just a little bit of family

And instead of being scared to do it
because it's crazy and it's hard, we

have to do it anyway.

So Eric and I had a date night. He had
to cook.

You got Eric to cook? Yes. Did he even
know where the pots and pans were?

Probably not. I could tell he was so
nervous. And I think he recognized that

does need to do more things in the
house.

But I felt like he was sad.

think that he works so hard

to give you the dream life that you
want.

And I don't think he feels like that's
acknowledged.

compliments that I offer your husband?

those things that he does. And also, you
