This year felt very different from past
seasons of the show. We welcomed three

new housewives, and we saw a veteran.

But underlying it all were Teresa and
Joe's legal issues that were just

resolved.

while since I saw you on this couch. I

I haven't, no, this is the first time I

yesterday, it was Gabrielle's birthday
and that's where she was. Who else, you

know, who would be that strong? It's
amazing. Yeah, like they don't know. My

kids don't know anything.

It's just like how it's always been.

in a bit. I want to turn to you, Dina,

and your return to the show.

you were gone forever.

What made you decide to finally return?

Is it because certain people from the
show are no longer on it?

I'm not going to lie.

That did have something to do with it. I
would never do a show with family

It's just not a healthy environment.

show with Caroline?

said to me that you couldn't deal with

the drama and the negativity.

And you were on the show during a pretty
intense time. I mean, obviously, you've

been through this longer than anybody,
and it's been more intense for you than

anybody. But the Danielle era, that was
really intense for you. Let me tell you

something about my family.

We are thick as thieves, and we protect
each other to the end.

You will not sit here and attack my
sister.

I am the one that showed the book.

Jacqueline, why don't you tell her the
truth? You two came in this line and

showing everything. It was me. I saved
your ass and did not even tell her it

because I didn't have to worry about

then. It was annoying.

That's not what everybody else felt.

Was that kind of the beginning of the
deterioration of your relationship with

It was kind of the end of me wanting to
partake in all of it anymore. Because

when I left, I distanced myself from all
of them, Teresa included.

Dina, we know this was also a tough year
for you with your marriage coming to an

end and your daughter heading off to
college.

We watched you struggle to stay zen.

than your singing career?

It's something that my husband invested
into. It's not our main company. I mean,

Joe is still a real estate developer.

This is just something that he invested
into as a side business.

Did you wind up selling your big old
house or?

So we sold it with an extended close.

So he was supposed to close within 12
months. And then little by little, this

guy was not keeping up to his end of the
agreement.

So we really had to fight hard to get
him out.

So is he still there?

No, he's out. Maybe I'll go squat in it.

Maybe you should get that house. I'll
just go squat.

You should just become a professional
squatter, yeah.

So the status right now is the house is
empty, and Joe and I are in a position

now where now we have a property that we
poured the foundation, and we're

building one home, and now we still own
our house in Montville, so we have both.

because when she was born, she was born

much as I can, and now she gets it. But
it's a downsize for her, but she's very

comfortable there. I love the coziness
of the house. I actually enjoy a smaller

got to meet one of our new housewives,

Amber. Viewers learned that you are not
only a proud cancer survivor, but also a

no -nonsense mom with a husband who
takes no prisoners. And that's putting

mildly. Take a look.

I almost lost my life to breast cancer.

The whole experience changed me as a
person.

You really need to be the best person
you can be at all times.

The day she had the surgery, I've never
cried like that in my life.

My husband is a gentle lion. I wish the
other girls could see this side of Jim.

Did you smoke a cigarette?

What do you do with it? Why would you do

I felt like he was a little rough on you

She's strong, she's made us proud, and
we're very blessed.

As sad as it is, I don't know Nicholas

I pray for him every night.

Is it hard for you to watch those scenes
with him?

No. He's progressing, and he's so
beautiful, and he gets to be home and

around. The work that I do, I see
children.

I think it's a beautiful thing. But, you
know, whenever you see your child, no

matter what the illness is, no matter if
you're cold even, you feel so bad.

him, would you go?

Probably not.

There's nothing I could do to help
Nicholas other than pray for him and

him. I'm not Mother Teresa. I can't sit

what hurts me more is my daughter.

all of this?

now, I probably won't even feel it.

Teresa, I remember...

that you had asked Melissa and Joe not
to come to the sentencing and that you

didn't want your parents there either.
Why is that?

I mean, if I saw my parents there, it
would just break my heart. And I just

didn't want them there.

Because I knew I had to speak in front
of the judge, and then I knew I was

to break down if I saw them.

Curious, I mean, Melissa, what was your
reaction when you heard the sentence?

We were all in shock, obviously.

You never think that something like
that's actually going to happen to

you love or someone in your family.

I know Joe has been very upset. I can't
imagine how she feels, and I know she

has four daughters, and that's all
everybody really is thinking about.

Joe Gorga, what have you been feeling?

It's been pretty much hell.

It's my sister, it's my brother.

He's not my brother -in -law, he's my
brother.

I know him all my life.

I can't imagine how I'm feeling and what
they're feeling.

You know, it's breaking my heart, so.

What do you want them to know?

That I love you.

I love you guys.

And it's so hard for me because it's my
sister, you know.
