that I haven't done.

a long way to get this, but...

make sure that she's stable
with everything that she has.

And just making sure that
my brothers are okay, you know?

or my big brother
or something like that,

brothers when I call them.

own rooms and stuff like that,

It do warm me up

My girlfriend and my mom

I've been here for,

We was definitely young
when we first started.

I matured in many ways,

My mindset, just being able to
fight through things a lot more.

I was in labor.

I really like for my kids

making them feel appreciated,

for a pair of earrings,

so they're sitting

So I told you, I don't know if
I told you he doesn't like cake.

so this is one thing
that we can get him to eat.

Normally it's cookies or
brownies, but there's this cake.

I don't even know
why he likes it.

My mother-in-law
started getting it.

And it's very rare, like I said,
that he'll eat cake.

Normally cakes and cupcakes,
he will just, like,

"Yeah, I'll pass,"
but he'll eat that.

That's what I like about Dylan.

Me and Dylan will probably
try just about anything.

The funny thing about me is
it's not what I eat,

it's what I don't eat.
I don't eat corn,

and I blame my cousin for it.

Dylan decided to come down here.

It's cool because Dylan
doesn't really stop working

or take the time
out for himself.

So just to be out here and, you
know, see his younger brother,

and, you know,
he's proud of him.

DYLAN: You know,
I used to be a wrestling fan,

and he used to be
somewhat of one with me,

so the little brother,
big brother relationship just

came from him jumping off
the top of my bed

and us, you know, playing
Shawn Michaels-Triple H

all day and all night
until Mom told us to stop.

And that seeped
into the football field as well.

A lot of it, I believe,
started with Dylan,

him really doing it because
Dylan was out there doing it.

His big brother influenced him
a lot to get out there

and, you know, do his thing
on the football field.

DEVIN: It was fun growing up,
obviously,

having an older brother
who played football.

That's the reason I asked
my parents to play football

was because of him.

When he was out there
at practice when he was

around nine years old,
I was around three.

They running laps,
I'm running laps with 'em.

DEETRA: He couldn't play,

so that was his way
of being a part of the team.

He was always in the huddle.

He definitely,
you know, wanted to do

what his big brother was doing.

DYLAN: You could tell
from the start

that it was just something
that he was meant to do.

Just from a young age,
my brother has shown

gifts of athleticism.

You know, football games
when I was in high school,

we would come out in the tunnel,
and who was doing the backflip?

My brother, for our team.

My brother was the mascot,
the Buffalo for the team.

DEVIN: You know,
he didn't get the opportunity

to do what I'm doing right now.

You know, he didn't go
to a powerhouse school.

He went to a D2 college.

DYLAN: I went to Texas A&M
University-Kingsville.

I played defensive end,
defensive tackle there

for four years, but I knew that
football wasn't long for me.

I just knew
it wasn't gonna happen.

Growing up in my house was
pressure as a football player.

My father was a Division I
football player, and...

I did not receive that pressure
as well as I should have.

My father struggles with
if it was the right approach,

and... it was.

I just didn't take it in stride.

That's why I'm happy
for my brother, because...

he got to see my struggle,
and he got to see the fight

that I went through
just to make it day to day.

And I'm just glad that
my brother got to see it

from my perspective
in order to forge his own path.

I pinch myself a lot.

My brother has,
in a sense, made it.

Job's not done.
Job's not finished.

But he's gotten to a point
that only I could dream of.

And right now we're
looking at him at Ohio State,

playing on Saturdays,
playing with the best.

I'm proud beyond belief.

PRODUCER:

for a young player

confidence in that environment,

it was a great sign.

a little bit of flexibility

of the craziest football games

we have seen in a long time.

kind of like a wave of relief,

but not like a ton,

'cause I've never missed
a college game.

Like, this is my first year.
I'm not trying to miss no game.

Like, I want to come back
and help my team fight

for this national championship
that we trying to get.

A complete team effort.
