One of the most surprising things that
we saw this season was not only that

Jax... has a mom, but that she's really

Lisa, what did you think about meeting
the woman who created this?

Well, I was surprised, actually, that
she kind of had such a great sense of

humor about it.

Right. Well, she has to. In the
premiere, you seem to brag to your mom

stole wine from Lisa and silverware from
Sir.

Did you take this, or was this a gift?
Lisa may or may not know that I have

bottle. All this silverware is from Sir.

Come on, I'm not the only one here who's
taking liquor or silverware. Don't

forget about toilet paper. I mean, I
can't defend him because he's a bad dog.

good employee.

And you know one thing about Jack?

He's always been amazing to me. So yeah,
he's an asshole, but he's a nice

Sheena, your decades party looked like a
lot of fun.

Kristen, Sheena made it very clear that
you were not invited to that party, yet

you went anyway.

Shocking. Did you ever consider not
going to Sheena's party? No.

Does it mean anything to you ever if
someone says, no, you can't come to the

place? Thus far, no, not really.

Lisa, you and Ken asked James about his
drinking the moment you walked in the

door. Are you going to have a drink? The
question is, are you going to have a

drink? I've had two already.

Why were you concerned?

Alcohol with James, it's like he just
changes, and I just see him get that

in his eye, and all bets are off. Why
did you drink so much that night,

that all eyes were on you? At the time,
yeah, you think you're doing something

cool, but then watching it back, it
wasn't so cool.

Wow, dude, that was so hilarious, man. I

-fisting. I only had one good old fist

The morning after you got canned at
Sheena's party, Kristen discovered

the smoking gun Uber receipt.

Yes, she did. Which led her to believe
that you had cheated on her. How did you

get that receipt?

His laptop was on my bed, and his email
was open, so I went through it, typed in

Uber, nothing, go to all mail, which
includes your trash.

And he deleted it, and I found it. Guys
at home, are you listening? Yeah.

Kristen's a detective. She can find
anything.

Female. I got it. I'm just curious. When
you saw that episode, and he says, I

didn't do it, babe. Cut to him in an
interview. And he says, I banged her. I

banged her. I wish I didn't have sex
with her. I've never had sex with

but you in the whole relationship we've
been together or not together.

The truth is, you know, Jenna and I were
definitely boning.

Watching him just be, like, such a dick.

have accused James of applying for a job

at SUR to get on the show. Where do you
stand in this?

Well, it was actually...

Kristen, I can answer for myself. I
don't need your help.

I had dinner with his parents and his
mother actually asked me, can he have a

job? He was, I mean, this was what,
three years ago. He was a little, a

pipsqueak really. And I said, well,
maybe I could give him a job as a

You know, Andy, I will say in my defense
that no one can just come in here, get

a job and stroll onto the show. Jack, do
you think that James had feelings for

Kristen or do you think he was using her
to get on the show? Yeah, that's what I

think. I mean, it was a little bit of
both. I think he was trying to get on

show and I think she was trying to get
back at Tom. No. My first relationship

that was pursued here was Tom. He
invited me to a gig, and obviously as

went on, Kristen and I got closer, and
that's how that all started, you know? I

wanted to create a friendship with
buddies around me at work. But a

with Tom isn't gonna get him a big bod
on a show in...

So you think that he pursued you to get
on the show?

You guys used each other. I mean, if
there was one person. I used him to get

over you, and he used me to get on the

months and you were still there. On the
show, you gave a list of things that you

had done for James. Paying for his
meals, buying his clothes.

What else did you do for him? I mean,
literally everything.

I mean, he didn't spend a dime since the
day I met him.

He lived with me for a little while.

How did you get your job?

It was, like anyone will say, it's kind
of a family. So the second I moved out

into Sir and see if you can get a job. I

had never had a real job before I moved
out here.

So I moved into Dossie's room, and then
my roommate moved out and Danny Shea

moved in. You're in my room, right?

Again, it looks so much better than when
I had it. I'm beginning to think L .A.

It's smaller than Salt Lake. It's the
weirdest thing. You are from Utah.

No, truthfully, I mean, I had had like

but in those conversations, I didn't

It's like, it's such a big deal. I'm
like, it's not that big of a deal.

Lala, how many times have... I'm talking

Lala, how many times have rich guys
flown you to exotic places?

I've lost count.

I've never slept with any of them.

So what do you do?

We just go a bunch of friends and have
fun. I mean, I don't see what the big

deal is. Well, I'm not spreading my
legs.

beginning. What attracted you to her at
first?

Oh, it was just fun.

relationship status was when you were

with him?

I thought he was single was his status.

And where would you get that impression

Katie, this is a tight group of friends.
Any advice for newbies trying to break

into the circle?

I mean, I know it can be very
intimidating and hard to penetrate.

Well, Lala, it seems like Sir was not
totally welcoming to you. What are some

the ways that you felt excluded?

It's intimidating coming into a group.

were bullying me in my life. Why did

Lisa seem to think that Lisa did I ever
say to you? I'm being bullied I think

you felt excluded.

There's I have never used the word in my
life I felt yeah when you were over

there about the whole thing with Italy
right you did kind of give her a break

much a hard time.

We were joking and you knew that. We had
several conversations before that. I

don't think you two are bullies. I don't
think you two are bullies, but I don't

think you were that welcoming.

And what I saw about Lala was very
different from what you saw.

I know, but why did you break it down
when I had to talk to you like two

you, baby girl. So don't give yourself

that much credit.

Maybe because we don't see that much of
you or we see how happy Sheena is, it

was a surprise to all of us to hear that
you were struggling with some pretty

serious addiction issues.

Instead of paying bills a month, he
would just buy pills.

I have been so, so miserable and lonely
this past week. Thank

God. I've been so miserable and lonely
for two years.

It started before we had started dating.

And it was just like a sports injury.

What were you taking?

Vicodin. How many were you taking a day?

I would average like five or six or
something.

Sheena, did you know that this was going
on?

I didn't know it was an everyday thing.

It just seemed like that was just his
poison he would occasionally pick

recreationally. But wasn't he lethargic?
Wasn't he just on another planet?

No, because your body gets immune to
something once you have it all day, then

you need it to function.

So it's like if he didn't take it, it
probably, he would have seemed

Why did you wait to tell people that you
two were going through this?

Because I thought it was something that
would pass quickly and no one would ever

need to know.

Katie, what did you know about Sheena
and Shay's problem?

We never would have noticed that he was
high on anything. When I found out, I

was shocked.

Lisa, were you surprised when you found
out? I was, and I was very disappointed,

you know, the way he kind of handled a
lot of it. And when I saw him talking to

Sheena and saying to her that you never
gave me a chance to explain to you, I

felt that he was passing the blame and
putting it on Sheena. And I love Sheena

very much. I love them both together as
a couple.

When Shay returned home, it was
interesting because you chose to have

people around for that moment. Why?

felt that I would be very intimidating
and not let him get a word in. And we

kind of agreed together that if we had
people there as a buffer, if I did get

like that, you know, Ariana or Katie,
someone's going to be like, Sheena, shut

the up. Let him talk.

Shay, you had said that you were
actually scared to talk to her. It was

hard to look her in the eye, honestly.

I was so embarrassed. I was so scared.

You wanted Tom and Tom there. I did,
yeah.

Why? For me, if I'm comfortable, that's
when the real Shay that everyone knows

comes out. I really wanted to be there
because I wanted Shay to feel like this

was not going to be an attack, and this
is a safe place, and you have friends

here. That's the first thing we said.
It's not an intervention. It's a

conversation. We're here for you.

Emotional support, encouragement.

He had already stopped taking the pill
six months prior.

The issue at the time was I was worried
he was going to start taking them again.

And I kind of felt like we needed that
support system, our closest friends

to be like, we're all in this together.
Like, we're here for you.

Jax, you said numerous times that you
were not surprised to see Sheena and

having troubles. Yeah. Wow. See, I
thought it was just strictly.

I was not, I didn't know about the
pills. Jack doesn't listen.

He did know about it. We had a little
conversation.

I didn't know about the pills and all
that. I just thought I was drinking. But

you did, Jack. You just don't listen or
remember the shit I tell you. I didn't

know the pills. I told you what was
going on. I didn't know that. And you

forgot? Whatever it was, whatever be the
case. You're like a colander.

A what? It just goes right through you.
He doesn't know what a colander is.

Yeah, but I thought you put noodles in
it.

Oh,

oh. I can't even say strainer. Yeah, but
you called it a colander. But I didn't

know all the details. I didn't know what
was going on. That's just what I

thought. Sheena's very on all the time.
She doesn't ever punch out. You know,

and Shay's just the opposite. Laid back,
chill. And I think she was always on

the go all the time. And sometimes, you
know, at home and just kind of.

What else do you do? Well, you know, he
had a very strong opinion in that room

to me, very negative opinion about their
relationship.

And they were going through a lot, and
you really weren't supportive.

She needs to let him have some say in
things. He has no balls.

Well, would you have balls?

Absolutely.

Well,

why do you think he's doing that?
Because he's miserable. Listen, you're

therapist. Why are you being so negative
about, you know, she was supportive?

I have milk. There's no longer shelf
life in that marriage.

It was really hard to see someone who I
consider one of my... my closest friends

say such negative things about our
relationship at the time you said it. It

really hurtful.

Yeah.

Do you want to apologize? Yeah, I
apologize, Sheena. He has.

And, you know, you guys know I'm sorry.
We had, even Sheena and I had this talk

already. Sheena, I want to get into your
approach to Shea's recovery because you

really got hammered on social media.

You said that you didn't want Shea to be
a sober bore. I said, don't get...

Don't be a bore. I didn't say he's a
bore. If someone has a problem with

substance abuse or addiction, what
you're saying is, I want you

to be able to partake responsibly
because it makes me feel better, but

that wouldn't be right for him.

It was so unfortunate that it took such
a negative turn because of my ignorance

on addiction, but I didn't know anything
about addiction. Why would I? It wasn't

something that I had dealt with before.

It's just unfortunate the way she gets
treated because I put her in that

situation, and I'm right now taking 100
% responsibility for everything.

Well, let me ask you this. I mean, when
you were giving Shay those tampons...

full of tequila. I'm not on my beard
anymore but I brought these just in

Talk back.

And you were ordering every cocktail on
the menu at your anniversary.

I think I'm going to just try one of
each of the prime cocktails.

Berries and bubbles maybe first.

Then I want a cucumber gimlet. Then I
want a prime margarita. Yeah, that

good. Then I want a black orchid.

I was doing the best I could. I didn't
know how to deal with that. And for me,

if he says, I'm not stopping drinking,
I'm not an alcoholic, my advice was...

Why don't you just try and cut back? So
it was just us trying to figure out how

he can keep drinking if that's what he
chose and how we could do it in a way

where we're not fighting because he's
getting drunk. And it was really

difficult.

But there's also been nights where I've
literally served you two margaritas, you

two rum and cokes, and you both a shot.

Because she disagreed with you or
something you've literally been like

you're drunk anyway So I can't talk to
you about this right now No, there's a

look that he used to get in his eyes and
you could tell other people could tell

it wasn't just Me being crazy saying
sometimes you use it to talk down to

I don't do that anymore and James is
nodding My god, I'm gonna defend her

because I think with what they've been
through I don't see her talk down to him

I see her build him up

For everything that we went through this
past year, as terrible as it was, I'm

so glad it all happened, and I'm glad
that I'm able to watch the show back.

Even though I look like an ass, and I
look uneducated, and I look ignorant,

I look stupid, I'm like, I see all of
that, and I've taken that all, and I've

bettered myself.

so much like i feel like i'm more
educated on addiction and alcoholism and

just want to say i'm so proud of him he
hasn't drank in over three months great

that's headline news so did you quit
pills cold turkey then yeah no meeting

don't understand i had one choice save
my marriage or choose sheena or choose

drugs and the story yeah no no no it was
not Can I say one thing?

I have obviously put my two cents in
about his addiction and the way she has

handled it. So I do apologize to you for
certain things that I have said. From

an outsider looking in, we don't know
what Shay is saying to her. We don't

you know, the back story.

You know, don't take this the wrong way.

but you've had some very strong opinions
about their marriage. He's disloyal

because he hasn't been honest. He's
guilty by omission.

You're right to take this seriously.
You're right to be upset.

It kind of opens the door to a lot of
other questions.

I just wonder what your reaction to that
is. It was unfortunate because Lisa was

kind of an example of the reason why I
didn't want to talk about it or come out

because I felt like...

you kind of looked down on me a little
bit and and kind of judged me in a way

and I know it was out of like if you
want to call it tough love But it was

it didn't make things easier. I was
furious with him for lying to her and I

also Worried that they were both
sweeping too much under the carpet

everything under the carpet makes for a
very bumpy floor Well Lisa you were like

worst fear in a way of like how people
react And I'm sorry about that because I

wanted nothing more than your marriage
to work because I love them as a couple.

And I love how much they love each
other, you know? It was a crazy, crazy,

time that I'm glad it's over.

You're dealing with your first year of
marriage.

We're dealing with an addiction problem.
All of this stuff on television, you

know?

We could go back and say, I wish I would
have done this. I should have called

this person.

But you know what?

It doesn't work that way.

People like give her for making me do
this. If it wasn't for her, I'd probably

still be taking these things. I think
she is your greatest asset. I really do.

She is.

But apparently he told me that we're
going to a construction yard and we're

taking bulldozers and like crushing with
bulldozers It was really

tough to do and to watch I just really
felt like it was important for me to be

honest at that point just so that he
knew That I wasn't acting weird for the

last couple of days just for the sake of
it or that I was just kind of you know

Being a bitch for the sake of being a
bitch. I felt like I was holding back

that I just needed to tell you how I was
