I'm a cancer survivor.

Oh, my gosh. I was 31, and I noticed a
lump

on my right breast.

I had a six -month -old.

I had a six -year -old, and I didn't
know if I was going to...

kindergarten.

While I was going through chemo, I had
to shave my head, and I couldn't even do

it. I had to wear a cap because I didn't
want my husband to see me like that.

And he would tell me, he said, you're so
beautiful, even with a bald head, you

know. The whole experience changed me as
a person.

I think I might have been a little
shallow before that.

You really need to be the best person
you could be.

at all times, because that's what cancer
did to me.

It will be five years in May. If you
ever need me to go and speak to these

children, I mean, you let me know.

Through Project Ladybug, I've worked
with many cancer patients.

The best thing in the world is that she
uses the word survivor, and she's a

cancer survivor, and that's amazing.
