What did it feel like being on another massive TV show

that the nation's talking about?

Yeah, it was quite... What does that feel like?

Yeah, it was quite a lot.

I think a lot of pressure,

but the storyline is quite, like...

..really sad and, like, poverty,

and I think, at Christmas,

it highlights poverty even more.

Sorry to bring down the tone.

Yeah, you've absolutely destroyed the mood.

My dog died a couple of years ago, if you want me to talk about that.

I'm so sorry. Now, Iain, not to be outdone,

you appeared in the Comic Relief trailer for Traitors: The Movie.

It was so much fun, man.

I think that really highlighted poverty at Christmas, actually.

Guys, we've got loads to talk about, about this episode.

Poor Keith found himself murdered out of nowhere,

seemingly as collateral damage.

Kas and Charlotte in particular seem to be

really feeling the heat this episode,

and we've seen the first mission of the series

and failed sabotage attempt.

We also have two glorious Round Table banishments to unpack,

so let's get straight into it.

Here's a reminder of Elen's tearful farewell.

So, there we are.

High emotions at the Round Table.

We should take a moment to address the fact that they've managed

to banish the real Welsh person

and left the fake Welsh lady in there.

My favourite thing about Charlotte is when she is an English person

in tears saying, "I'm just being my authentic self," in a Welsh accent.

ED LAUGHS

This is why we love The Traitors.

You can't trust anything. And she meant it, as well.

It does put paid to the theory that the Welsh accent

is trustworthy, though, doesn't it?

Because Elen's been banished straight away,

so Charlotte must be quaking in her boots now,

going, "They're just getting rid of the Welshies."

Yeah, she should put on an accent, a different one.

A different one. Do you know what I mean?

Just change it. Just wake up the next morning,

walk into breakfast and go... Just change it, you know?

"Bonjour!" IN FRENCH ACCENT: "Guys, I've got a feeling about

"who might be a Traitor."

I'm actually learning French, guys.

Do you want to tell us some French that you've learnt?

Erm, bonjour.

Wow. No, wait.

Erm, I know there's stuff, like, erm, cheein?

Cheein means a horse, isn't it?

Dog. Oh, is it dog? Yeah. Yeah.

And it's chien,

but it was, like, apart from the word and the meaning,

you got that bang-on. Yeah, I'm getting there.

So, what do we make of Charlotte's performance at the Round Table?

The way that I'm trying to work it

is based on who I think

would have the qualities

of being a good Traitor. OK.

Unfortunately, Charlotte, that's you.

I'm really flattered.

I feel like I kind of talk my way out,

as in I felt like I kind of explained this

to the group yesterday,

but I'm happy to go over it again.

I feel like you just nearly said,

"I think I managed to talk my way out of it,"

but then stopped yourself halfway

and then changed your wording. No.

That's just something that I just...

I thought I talked about this yesterday.

Oh, right. OK. Because I did.

I'm not telling you guys

any new information here.

Oh, I love that moment,

cos Leanne is right.

She did start to say, "I talked my way out of it,"

but she's not a Traitor.

I know. Oh, it's so sad. But she's just tripping herself up

and then trying to remember to do a Welsh accent at the same time.

Yeah. She's doing it in a...

Let's all remember, as well,

she's doing it in an accent the whole time. Yeah.

Now, Maddy, tell us a little bit more about what it's like to be

around that Round Table.

Horrible. Because you're the one with that previous experience,

and Charlotte, in that clip, a little bit deer in the headlights.

Can you understand that feeling?

Yeah. Watching it, actually I... It gave me so much anxiety.

I was like, "Oh, that's so sad," because you're trying,

in your heart of hearts to be like, "I'm a Faithful,"

but that's all you can say. Yeah.

Like, what else? You know, you can say,

"I promise you on this and that and all of that,"

but, like, you can't say any more.

Let's not forget Armani's warning shot in the Traitors' conclave

at the end of the episode.

Do we think Armani's doing too much?

In every cartoon, there is the evil genius

who always has two sort of minions

that aren't quite as capable as the evil genius

and, at the minute, that's a little bit what it feels like with...

Minah's just trying to carry out this plan... Yeah.

..and she's just got Armani and Linda just not quite getting it.

We love Linda. We love Linda. We always talk about Linda.

We love... We're all... We're all a bit Linda.

We've all been a bit rubbish at our job.

But do you know what I think about Linda?

You know in opera when they die... Yeah.

..they run around loads and it's like a prolonged...

Yeah. That's Linda's energy, isn't it? Yeah.

Cos she's still in the game and she's going to sing again.

I just want her to sing before she goes.

with Linda, I think you're right to connect it with the opera...

Yeah. ..because everything Linda does,

she is doing for the back row of a theatre.

"Traitors..." She'll go, "Ooh, no, I can't believe it!" Like...

It's brilliant. Quite outspoken in this episode, Armani.

Do we think the approach is going to pay off for her?

No, and, also, the longer that the sisters are in there together,

someone's going to go,

"One of them has to be a Traitor."

Do you think? We did the maths in our head earlier, didn't we? Yeah!

So, like, the longer they're both in,

cos if you're not part of the sisterhood, you'd be like,

"I'm going to murder one,

"because then they've got one up on everyone."

Yeah. If they are a Traitor.

Yeah. I just hope they don't argue and then, like,

you know what I mean?

And then one of them's like, "That's it,

"I'm going to murder you tonight

"cos you were horrible to me." Oh, Maddy, you're brilliant, but...

Yeah, do you know what I mean? Yeah.

Now, we did, of course, have the series' first banishment

at the Round Table at the top of this episode two,

and that was poor Nathan.

I can confirm...

..that I'm a Faithful.

Oh, my goodness! Oh, no!

Linda!

Yeah. "Why?!"

Round and round.

"No!"

OPERATICALLY: # No! No!

# I don't believe it! Stop! #

It must, to Linda's credit,

it must be so hard to have to be like,

"OK, I've got to react coming up here, because I know he's a Faithful.

"What reaction am I going to do?"

And next thing you know, you're on your knees screaming, "Why?"

"Why?!" Now, poor Keith got murdered. Yeah.

Basically... Oh, that's sad. What was this?

I mean, it seemed to be collateral damage so that the Traitors

could put more heat on Charlotte.

Do we think it's worked?

I think the fact that Charlotte voted for Keith is probably

the bit of evidence they've focused on the least.

Mm. But then, also, it was Linda that says that.

You know, like when they were in the breakfast... Yeah.

..Linda was like, "Ooh, erm, they voted..." You know?

The evidence. Well, I think what happened is

I think Leanne says to her,

"Keith's name came up, didn't it?"

And Linda was like, "Yes, this is my opportunity."

"This is it, yeah." "Yes, Charlotte voted for him."

"Charlotte voted for him." But I feel like, for me,

I would be up at night writing down who voted who,

but half the time you don't remember.

Yeah. It's like, but if you're a Traitor,

you've had those discussions... Yeah.

..so you've gone, "Charlotte has voted that person,

"so we need to go on that."

We should talk about the first mission.

Brilliant. This is pitting the Traitors against the Faithfuls.

Yeah. Do we think this is going to add more jeopardy to this series?

Yeah, definitely. 100%.

Some of the questions didn't really lend themselves to being sabotaged.

Yeah. It's like, "How many people are on this show?"

And I'm like, well...

ED LAUGHS

..even a Traitor with the best will in the world's not going to go,

"Is it five?"

Yeah. I think Armani did try her best to do that, though.

She did, yes. Well, we said, we talked about this.

I think that's the worst Armani's handled being a Traitor.

Yeah. Agreed. There was that weird moment where she said,

"It's four." Then they all sort of decided on five.

And then, but then, she either had to let it be five

or really double down... Yeah. ..but instead she sort of went,

"Well, I think it's four, but if you want to..." Yeah.

Yeah. And I think, no, you either go,

"Well, let's go with five for the group,"

or she has to really double down and go, "No, no, it's four, come on,"

and get it wrong.

Now, on today's Uncloaked, we have two juicy exclusives

to sink our teeth into

and it's time for the first one.

This is the big moment

murdered Keith and banished Elen came face-to-face for the first time

after leaving the castle and found out who our Traitors are.

I wonder if she was leading it behind the scenes.

When these Faithfuls find out who these Traitors are,

they'd better feel very guilty for voting me out.

I was the only one who voted for her at the Round Table.

That hurts so much.

cos you made a wonderful double act.

KEITH LAUGHS

Now, Elen, your theory was right, you know.

Strong female Traitors.

How do you feel now that you know that your theory was correct?

I feel really good about myself.

Do you know? It's the...

It's what I've learnt about myself, being in the castle.

I have a good gut instinct and I should trust it more.

Absolutely, yeah.

I mean, you went with it. You did trust the gut instinct.

Yes, I feel like I could have... ELEN SIGHS

I could have pursued it even more, though, cos I had names.

I had female names in my head,

but I never really said them,

because I really liked the girls, as well, you know.

Yeah. That's what I was... So bittersweet.

Cos that's what I was thinking, you had such a good theory

and such a spot-on theory,

but I feel like, and, again, it was just my opinion,

you put it out in such a vague way. Yeah.

That's what made everyone a bit suspicious. Yeah.

So, would you, how would you have gone about it differently

if you could do it again?

Or would you have done it the same? Because you were...

You were right. Yeah. Let's remember that.

I was so sure of Minah.

However, I didn't know how to approach the situation,

because Minah hadn't actually done anything to imply

that she was a Traitor. Mm-hm.

It was just a feeling... Yeah. ..and I didn't know how to go around it.

Why did you vote for Linda at the Round Table, Elen?

I thought she was such a strong female in the castle

and she would have been a woman

who could have gotten away with it.

But it ended up being Nathan that was banished.

It was tricky, because I feel like Nathan

would have been too predictable of a Traitor,

because he's an estate agent and... LAUGHTER

No, no, no. No, no, no.

Never trust an estate agent!

MADDY: Amanda was... Amanda was that.

That's not what I meant! That's not what I meant. Don't worry...

No, but Amanda was that, and she used to say the liar...

"The buyers are liars."

Yeah. When she was the Traitor.

Right. Yeah. It's too obvious, because they're charmers.

They know how to be charming.

They know how to get away with it. Yeah, to sell.

Look, we've already got the clip for social media.

Go, girl!

You obviously did very well with spotting who the Traitors were.

But, Keith, you also said Armani.

I did. What gave you an inkling that Armani might have been a Traitor?

Well, she was a very...

forthcoming person. Mm-hm.

You know, she was, erm...

She stood out from the crowd

straight away,

and that's what made me feel that... You know, she was very vocal,

you know, and everybody was listening to her, you know,

listening to whatever she said.

Keith, you had some other theories around Leon and Freddie.

Can you talk us through those a bit?

Why were you suspicious of them?

I don't know. With Leon,

he was another strong character, as well, Leon. Mm-hm.

And he was very straight talking, as well.

He actually said, you know, "I'm in here, I'm a Faithful."

And the way he said it, it just maybe felt, you know,

there was something strange, because he was very assertive.

Mm-hm. And with Freddie, he was the youngest of us lot,

of us all, you know, so he was... He's only 20.

He had a baby face and, you know... Got a six-pack.

Yeah. Yeah, he's got a six-pack.

Yeah, I've seen that. He may have a baby face,

but he's got a grown-up body.

Yes, he has. Got a six-pack, and I thought,

"Right, he's...he's too good."

Yeah. You know...

I mean, we've already seen the...

We're enjoying the shots of people... Yes.

..in their hotel room and... In the shower.

Freddie has given up too much before episode three.

He's a star. There's a star born there straight away.

Now, Elen, it was obviously a very dramatic moment

when you were banished.

Can you describe exactly how you were feeling in that moment?

LAUGHS NERVOUSLY

Very unsettled.

That was a very unsettling experience.

Erm, it's funny, though, cos...

..I've obviously spent a lot of time

reflecting on my time in the castle and the entire experience

of being there,

and I've come to the conclusion, it was never that serious, you know.

It was never that serious.

But at the time, you are so immersed in the game, it feels so real.

I remember crying walking into my last breakfast,

cos I was scared I was going to get murdered.

Well, you're obviously not going to get murdered in real life.

You're still alive, you know? It's just a game.

Oh, is it not in real life? MADDY: No, you do feel...

No, sorry. It's not real. No, I agree, I agree, though.

You do feel like you're on death row. Yeah, yeah!

KEITH: You do.

MADDY: And you're such a pretty crier, by the way.

Thank you! I'm such an ugly crier,

so every time in The Traitors, I was like, "There I go again."

My whole face screws up and, yeah.

Thank you so much.

At least I've got that going, you know. Yeah.

It wasn't my best moment. I believed you.

KEITH: It was a lovely cry.

Your murder, Keith, seemed totally random.

To us as viewers, it seemed... MADDY: Yeah.

It seemed like you were collateral damage in another plan.

Can you talk us through the moment of walking into the room

and finding the envelope?

I thought, and I'd seen the envelope on the chair,

I thought, "Oh, I'm...

"Somebody might want me to be a Traitor."

I didn't think I was going to be murdered.

I just opened it and reading it,

that was the biggest shock of my life, you know.

I just thought to myself, "I was too smart."

Yeah. Or I was too late.

I just don't know what it was, I just had that funny...

Yeah, you said that as well. Yeah, I think...

I think that's a real point that you were... Yeah.

..you were so liked and so loved in there

that no-one was ever going to banish you.

On the first Round Table,

there was only one person

who voted me out, was... I think it was Charlotte.

Looked round the table, no-one else did,

and I just thought, "Why me? Why me?"

Well, I think that was the closest thing they had to a reason...

Yeah. ..was so they could put some heat on Charlotte for...

Yeah. Yes. ..for voting for you.

Yeah. We do have to talk about Charlotte.

Yeah. Briefly. Especially to you, Elen,

cos, of course, Charlotte is a fake Welsh lady.

Have you known that? Do you know that yet?

We found out, yeah.

Yeah, did you have any inkling? Did you have any idea? Yeah?

No. No!

No, I did not.

I just find it hilarious, because her strategy was to embrace

the Welsh language or the accent to become more trustworthy.

Although I have a legit Welsh accent

and it didn't really help me, you know?

LAUGHTER

Nobody trusted me, you know?

I never suspected her.

I never would have been able...

Because when I told her I live in Cardiff,

she quickly started to change the narrative

and she was saying, "Oh, yeah, yeah. Well, my accent has started to fade

"because I live in London now."

And I was like, "Oh, yeah, yeah, cool."

I can't imagine how she felt going in there being like,

"I'm going to pretend to be Welsh. It's going to be great."

First person she meets, you, Welsh.

She's like, "Oh, no!" I know, how mad!

MADDY: Change the accent, change the accent!

KEITH: And get away with it. "I'm a Welsh translator."

You'd be like, "Oh, come on!"

Yeah, I know, the detective! Yeah.

It's the ultimate Welsh lady. That's not what you want, yeah.

She was very convincing.

Well, in a busy episode, we also said goodbye to Nathan

at the first Round Table.

Now, we spoke to Yin on the last instalment of Uncloaked,

but here is the exclusive moment that Nathan sat down with her

to find out the identity of the Traitors.

I'm in shock to see you.

NATHAN LAUGHS

Gosh.

So, I'm dying to know -

pun completely intended -

whether you are a Faithful or a Traitor.

So, I am a Faithful.

Yeah.

YIN LAUGHS

I'm so glad!

I can't tell you how happy I am.

So, who do you think the Traitors are?

So, I think there's four Traitors.

I think there's Linda and Anna,

and I think the men are Leon and Kas.

So, I think Kas,

Leon,

Linda,

Armani.

Let's find out. Come on.

Who has murdered me?

The first Traitor is...

..Minah?!

What?! Oh, my God!

No! That woman.

Wow! Minah?!

I did not expect that. Yeah, I'm very shocked.

She just went totally under my radar.

The second Traitor is...

..Armani. No way!

Oh, my God!

The murder makes more sense,

because I did spend a pretty significant amount of time

with these two women.

Yeah. Shall we move on? Yes.

Ah-ha-ha!

Linda. Come on!

Now I feel great. Oh, my God!

it's Nathan, everyone!

Thank you, thank you, thank you.

Nathan, you must be pretty happy with your predictions there,

getting to see who was actually a Traitor.

Cos 50-50, pretty much.

I knew Armani and Linda,

I knew them 100%.

It was Minah that I got caught on.

Like, I was absolutely gobsmacked with that,

because she flew totally under the radar.

Yeah. And she's so cool and calm, like, just watching her, like,

yeah, she's super cool,

so I was totally baffled by her.

What made you suspicious about the two you did get?

What made you think Armani and Linda?

So, I met Linda on the train, and I called her Mama Linda,

because I got on well with her.

She was like my surrogate mother in there,

and I was like, you know, I got on well with her.

And as soon as she took off her blindfold,

the blood just dropped from her face

and I could just see that something wasn't right.

And, again, the next morning for breakfast,

I looked across the room and I looked for Linda straight away,

because you look for familiar faces,

and I saw Linda's face and she just looked really upset and depressed,

and I was like, "Something's not right with her."

But, Armani, she started moving around the house really mad

and, like, asking loads of questions.

And I was like, "She's on something."

I know she's quite an outspoken character, but she was moving mad...

Yeah. ..and I was like, "Something's not right."

Can we talk about Kas?

Because I think you and Yin in that clip thought Kas

was a Traitor.

What is it? What is it about Kas?

Because we're slightly baffled, as viewers...

IAIN: Yeah, totally. ..as to why people think Kas.

Because the main reason seems to be that he's nice.

Yeah. Kas is a lovely guy.

Yeah. He is so... He is so sweet, Kas. Down-to-earth.

And there was just something about him and the way

that he just planted something on me around the Round Table

and during the day and some of the conversations,

I just felt...

Yeah, I just felt that there was something about Kas trying to,

I don't know, he was just trying to pick at me for something.

I thought, "There's something not right there."

He was maybe trying to,

yeah, focus on me to try and get me out as quickly as possible.

But when he stood up and tried to make the toast in Welsh,

I think we're all sat there at home going like,

"Don't, don't mark yourself out for any reason.

"Don't stand up in front of the whole room."

But did you see why he was doing that, Elen?

Did you think it was quite a sweet gesture?

Kas was actually the first, ironically,

Kas was the first person I trusted in that castle.

We spoke a lot about the Welsh language.

He had a lot of interest in the fact that Welsh is my first language

and English is my second language,

and he wanted to know

what is Traitor and Faithful in Welsh.

And I taught him, and I think he just found it interesting.

That just came from such a genuine, genuine place.

I felt so bad for him.

Yeah, that that then marked him out... Yeah.

..and people starting to suspect him, yeah. Mm.

We've got a lot of people hiding things in there. Yeah.

We've obviously got Charlotte, the fake Welsh person. Yeah.

Yeah, pretending to be Welsh.

We've got Lisa, who is secretly a priest.

MADDY: Oh, yeah, God!

How did you guys feel about that when you found that out?

Keith, how did you feel?

I was - no pun intended - godsmacked.

I couldn't believe it!

Lisa was Lisa.

Yeah. She just... She was so calm.

She had this amazing energy around her.

It's hard to tell.

But then, a priest as a Traitor would have been so cool.

Well, I think this is what...

She has started just feeding everyone

tiny bits of the toast in the morning.

LAUGHTER

MADDY: What, before we start eating?

There's no red wine in there at all.

MADDY: Before we say a word.

She's blessing the cranberry juice.

And we've got Leanne, who is an ex-soldier and is not revealing

that she's an ex-soldier. MADDY: Oh, yeah, another secret.

KEITH: That was a gobsmack. I couldn't believe that.

You had no inkling at all? No inkling.

No chance. I'm so gullible.

I'm so gullible.

Well, I spent loads of time with her, as well.

You know, we spent loads of time, you know, travelling to and fro

and all that, you know... Yeah. ..and it was just...

And when I found out she was a soldier, because she had...

Her nails! You wouldn't think she would do anything...

Once she said she was a beautician,

automatically you think, "Yeah, look at those nails.

"She's definitely a beautician."

Obviously, there's the big secret from your wife about

not liking her bolognese.

I'm going to have a divorce now. I've been married 36 years.

She's going to divorce me.

Or she's going to force feed me with this spaghetti bolognese.

No, my big secret was, you know, being a black belt in taekwondo.

You know, I just want... What?! Yeah! Wow!

I saw him doing the moves in the hotel room.

I'm a first-degree black belt in taekwondo

and I didn't want to tell anybody that just in case.

Because to be a black belt, you've got to be focused. Mm.

And that's why, you know,

I did want to make sure... That was my secret.

I didn't want to tell anybody, but...

Would you have, if you'd stayed a bit longer,

would you have revealed it at some point? Yes, I would have.

Yeah. Yeah. Ohh. I would have been a Jackie Chan,

Bruce Lee, anything. I would have done something.

At the time, did you have any theories about things that people

might be hiding?

Cos I'm guessing when you go in there,

because, obviously, we had Diane and Ross in the last series,

you might have been on the lookout for people

concealing things about themselves.

Did you have any theories, Nathan?

No, I think because of the two sisters,

and they came out straight away,

you sort of think, "Could there be any more?" Mm.

I suspected another actor, potentially, someone who, yeah,

an actor or another relationship, as well.

But maybe a couple would have been there.

So, who were you shipping?

Who would you have put together? That's a great question.

I knew Minah and Jake were married.

A part of me thought they were married to each other, but... Right!

Linda and Freddie are secretly married.

LAUGHTER

And you're like, "Who's filming Freddie in all those shower scenes?"

NATHAN: Oh, my God! IAIN: Linda!
