-So, we have a group of three ladies coming in.

They all work together. They're hairstylist educators.

I appreciate everyone's hard work.

There's gonna be a few of you who have a day off pretty soon,

so please just be mindful of your after-work activities,

and so I'm letting the majority of the wranglers

go on a camping trip.

It's a perfect opportunity for them to all get away,

and it just boosts morale. Gabby and Vern decided

that they were gonna stay back,

'cause there's still a lot of work that we need to get done.

that he missed while he was in the hospital.

This will be the first time

Based on the way that they are dressed up

and the way that they're acting --

they're taking pictures of every single thing --

it's very obviously their first time on a ranch.

-All this poop on the floor, child.

I mean, I walk New York streets,

but we ain't this bad.

-You know, what I haven't seen is a rat.

I ain't seen no rats yet, girl. -We don't have rats.

But, you know, they poop.

They're animals, so just avoid it.

-These women seem a little unfamiliar with large animals,

like horses.

I feel like it's like shell shock

when you've never been somewhere like this before.

It can be a lot to take in at once.

So it's fun to be able to watch people experience that.

So, this is where you guys will meet for, like, your rides.

Um...

-She's standing right over here, child.

Yeah.

-That was kind of loud, too, right?

-Mad loud. That was worse than my dad.

-The horses fart. They fart all the time.

I love when they fart.

-We were just talking, like, us having nothing to do.

in the rec room, just like... -Well, that's the thing

that's nice about our ranches is,

like, we don't have TVs, we don't --

-We don't got TVs? -That's what we need, though.

-They seem like a fun, like, girls' group.

And so my wish, whether or not they come back,

they really get to enjoy this experience

and appreciate it for what it is,

and maybe go home and be like,

"We'll probably never do something like that again.

It was so fun." -Air is so fresh.

We were just saying, like,

"I don't think my body's ready for this nonpolluted air."

I think my lungs are clear now.

I'm trying to burn stuff.

-There's melting chocolate in here.

I got strawberries, marshmallows.

-What? -Please help yourselves.

-It's gonna fall off. -Don't say that.

That's the proper way.

-I'm not going on the camping trip,

partially because it's awkward.

I think Katie is probably pretty uncomfortable.

We went from being pretty romantically involved

to can't have a conversation.

I just kind of want to give her space

and, you know, just be respectful about it.

-How are you doing, brother?

-I'm friggin' great.

You know, I had a realization and, you know,

some reflecting and...

there's good qualities in Gabby that I really liked.

You know, we had a lot in common.

-Yeah. -And a lot of times,

that could be a bad thing. And honestly, like,

we're in this -- we're in this experience.

You know, we're -- we're working on a ranch.

We're doing stuff. -I call it fairytale land.

It's, like, when -- It's when you're, like, on a vacation

and you meet somebody and you sort of, like,

almost, like, create them into what you want them to be.

-You think it's still awkward between the two of you?

-It's not awkward for me, because I'm focused on my work.

And I think not everybody's meant to be in your life.

-Sure. -And I think the problem is,

people think everybody's meant to be in their life.

and I'm focusing on that.

I am sad that it had to come to this.

I am gonna miss Gabby's friendship.

I mean, we had a really great friendship,

Part of the reason why I wanted to go on this trip

is to get away from all the drama that happened with Gabby.

So, for us to be able to go on a camping trip

and get far away from the ranch and just relax

is something that we all need. -Got TP, we got coffee.

-If we're actually doing -- If we're actually doing this,

we don't need this.

-If we're actually gonna live... -Just gonna use...

- Do it the real way. - No, oh no.

-When I heard that this was Trevor's first time camping,

I was very surprised. -If I was a horse,

I would have keeled over right now.

Now you know how they feel.

-A cowboy that's never going camping,

it just doesn't make sense to me.

So we're poking fun at him and hazing him a little bit.

But it's all in good fun.

and, like, get my and saddle a horse.

-Okay. It was such perfect timing.

We just got all finished, and now you're gonna go.

-Everyone's going on a camping trip,

and I wasn't really sure if I wanted to go at first,

but I'm starting to realize

that maybe it's probably a pretty good idea.

Like, I know I messed up, but I just hope

that there's an opportunity for me to make amends.

I was really excited for a getaway.

I'm kind of annoyed that he's going on the camping trip.

As head wrangler, I need to be here,

especially with guests on the ranch.

I love teaching people how to ride,

and so I'm excited to do this.

Gabby, Sophia, and Akeelah. -Yes.

-This is Gabby. -Hey!

-And this is Jaeger. -Hi, Jaeger.

Like Jaegerbomb. -I'm a little nervous, so...

-Are you nervous? What are you nervous about? What part?

-This is my first time on a horse ever.

-We don't know what we're doing.

-These women have never been on a horse before,

and I love that, because as a wrangler,

I take huge responsibility in being able to

share what I love with them and make sure

that they feel super comfortable and safe while doing it.

-I'm not good with horses. -That's okay.

We'll be walking alongside of

you guys every step of the way. -Okay.

-So, safety is a big thing for us.

What we don't want to see --

no yelling, no craziness on the horse.

Laughing is totally fine. Giggling is totally fine.

Like, what do I say? 'Cause if I can't yell, like...

-Girl, we'll be right with you. -Just checking.

-Getting on a horse for the first time

is a struggle for a lot of people,

because you don't have full control.

A lot of people want to hold on to that control,

and letting go can just be really hard.

- The -I don't want you --

I want this to be a happy experience.

-Just because he neighs like that at his friends.

He's totally fine. -I think me and Jaeger are kinda

matching and I'm here for that. -Yeah, a little bit.

-Wait. So, wait, y'all do hair. Y'all do hair, right?

-I mean, I need to know what toner Jaeger uses.

He needs some conditioner.

-When we first put a guest on a horse,

we like to have a little bit of a brief period

where they go nice and slow and get used to the horse

and get that trust in motion.

-Jaeger, you're doing a great job.

Good job. Now, how I get down?

-Alright.

-Oh, my God, y'all. I'm on a horse.

-We get people from the city who have never been

even in the country environment, let alone on a horse.

You get on. -I'm scared.

-Literally just swinging your leg over

and getting into that saddle can be a huge step.

I love just seeing people

who have never rode horses in their life

just, like, get on and have so much fun.

-You guys are amazing.

-Part of being a wrangler is to help the guests figure out

that there's really nothing to be scared of,

and they end up having a lot of fun at the end of the day.

-We were bored earlier. We were like, "Whose hair can we do?"

-And I can see real pretty hair under there.

-Never dyed my hair before,

and I have not a clue on how to take care of it.

-Oh, wow. -You have beautiful,

like, just natural highlights.

Like, I love that.

-What do you guys recommend for, like, hair care?

Like a mask or anything?

-I just so happen to have a few things with me.

-You know, maybe a full kit.

-Usually getting my hair done by professional artists

would be something that might be intimidating to me,

but I felt like I connected with them

and I can really trust them and I'm in good hands.

I've never been on a big camping trip like this,

so I'm really grateful for this experience.

We were trying to just like have an organic conversation,

about it than I pictured.

So I'm glad that I'm here, you know, taking the right steps

to mend things with Katie and make things right,

or at least try to.

-You know what's so cool is, like,

things are always gonna change in the world and life

and all these things, but, like,

people have been doing this for hundreds of years,

and they'll continue to do it for hundreds of years.

Like, it's really, you know, cool

to have, like, these moments to look back on.

-It's one thing you can rely on, you know?

-Well, I feel like when you're old,

you look back and you have these, like, series of, like,

really sharp, vivid memories.

It's like some of my, like, most powerful memories

are, like, outside with friends.

Like, I bet I can, like, close my eyes and, like,

picture this moment, you know?

It's like we're all sitting here, like, having so much fun,

like, eating marshmallows.

Like, that's the type of that sticks with you

forever, you know?

And we come from all over the country,

all sorts of different backgrounds.

But, like, why do we, like, get along so well?

And I think a lot of it has to do with that passion

and that work ethic.

-We're on a camping trip as a group,

and so it's fun to be together and have a good time.

Having Hunter here ended up not being so bad after all.

In a perfect world, the next time we hang,

it'd be normal and we could just be friends and it could be easy.

And if he was up front about, you know,

just where he's at, then it would be much less awkward.

I have people that I have hobbies in common with,

but this is a culture. -A culture. That's a good word.

-It's a cowboy culture. It's not just a hobby.

Like, it's not something we like to do.

It's, like, who we are.

-We all have a common denominator.

horsemanship and this world and this type of work

supersedes everything.

I'm really glad I came, and sitting around the fire,

it's a nice reminder that these people matter a lot to you,

and they're all you have.

It's your family, your family away from your family.

And I care about everyone here,

and I care about our relationships

and especially one relationship, with Katie.

But at some point,

I would like to at least explain myself

and at least give my side of the story of my emotions

and my feelings about it.

a huge priority to me to put makeup on.

I mean, I wake up and I'm in the dirt all day,

so it doesn't seem very practical.

It's just foreign to me.

It's just not something I think about.

I like to be viewed by, like, the guys as

more of somebody that they can come to in life

and not really somebody that they would want to flirt with.

I don't want to have my personal life in with my work life.

because her and Chase are kind of becoming a thing.

A lot of guys get the wrong impression with her

because she's so like a guy's girl, you know?

They take that as, like, flirting.

But when she's hanging out with Chase,

like, she is so absorbed in her feminine energy

and, like, that's how you know

that she actually, like, likes him.

-That's nice, but does he like her?

-I think it's reciprocated. -That's what I'm talking about.

-Katie and Hunter had a thing for, like, one night.

and they're business owners

and they've taken their passions and done something with it.

When there's any sort of, like, emotional disparity

and you finally get relief from that
