So the first thing is that

the oldest brother
wants to ride a mechanical bull.

the sister requested
that we make a birthday cake

-Well, so it doesn't necessarily
have to actually be a cake.

She was like,
it can be cardboard,

it can be whatever,
I don't care,

but I want like there

and I want somebody like jumping
out of it, like old movie style.

at getting head wrangler.

and I love it
because it gives me a chance

to get on some horses

You have guests that are coming
for a Wild West experience,

they're going to want some

high-quality food.

And that's what I'm trying
to do.

We'd just kind of like to give
you some of our pros and cons

for the head wrangler.

You're right on target there.
We need to get it done.

-He's great with guests.

That's one of, like,
his strong points.

-He's got the type
of personality

that I think most of us
wish we had, certainly I do.

-He sometimes falls
into this pattern of behavior

where if someone else
is doing it, he'll do it.

-Can he transition from
being the life of the party,

fun and entertaining,
and take on the leadership role?

Because, as we know, in that
job,

it really has
serious consequences.

-Okay, Vern or Veronica?

-So obviously Vern is,
like, extremely knowledgeable.

She has a ton of experience.

She won't just clock out because
she's supposed to clock out.

She like, stops
when the day is actually done,

but she doesn't communicate
very well.

She went to a wedding
and was gone.

She said she'd be back
on Monday.

Tuesday morning,
Bob didn't know where she was.

I didn't know where she was.
She came back.

None of us ever heard from her,
which is unacceptable.

And her response was, "Well,
why didn't you call me?"

[ Laughter ]

-One of the most wise things
said in this sort of instance,

which is people are hired
for skills,

but people are fired
for attitude.

And that sounds
like the other side of Veronica.

-With what you've heard,

who will get more buy-in

from their coworkers?

can't seem to come to a decision

We're going to choose

that's a good quality to have

when you're taking care

That being said, is there things
that she can work on? Yes.

I think that's
why we decided to make

Carson assistant wrangler.

So it felt right
to put him there next to her.

You can learn from Veronica.

You can learn as much
from Carson.

Not one person is perfect.

And I just hope that, like,

putting you two together will
allow everybody to feel, like,

at ease and, like,
confident in their leaders.

And I feel like
you guys can put a lot of trust

in these two people.
