When I first started
disability modelling,

that song was playing over
the first ever catwalk I did.

I remember doing the catwalk
and feeling so empowered.

It was the first moment
I really celebrated my differences.

You were definitely the youngest.

You were only about 16.
You just shone, as you do now.

I was born with missing digits
on my right hand,

and when I was 11, I was actually
diagnosed with ulcerative colitis.

I was really, really poorly
for about seven years.

And then when I was 18, the decision
was made to remove my colon,

and I now have a stoma bag,
which I call Sid, and we love Sid.

My stoma was actually a gift,
and I got my life back.

I remember when I had you,

you just always seemed
really special.

You were the first up
the highest climbing frame,

in the water, learning to swim.

That's a lot to do with
the way you guys raised me.

I just always felt like I could do
it because you guys were behind me,

and you supported me.

Now it just feels like
I am worlds away from the girl

that did that first catwalk.

It's a piece of music that's
so powerful,

I really want to reach
into everyone's hearts

and show that when you set your mind
to something,

you can really achieve it,

and Molly is a prime example
of that.
