things. Damon feels like sanctum, like a creative art, artistic, and it's this

and that. And I'm like, you know, I didn't grow up that way. I grew up in a

kind of all -American home with structure, with boundaries, with rules.

think that he kind of grew up in a very different way, opposite to me. And so

the way we raise our children, you know, shows that.

There's no way to keep this a secret.

I'm doing like the best I can and I think I'm doing a good job.

No one's saying that you're not. Kids love me. I love them. And other than

eliminating Sanctum completely from my life, you know, I don't know how to

protect the kids completely from it.

I can't drop Sanctum. I'm supporting her and I'm giving her a good life and my

kids. I don't have another source of income.

I don't have a plan B.

I was never going to be the suit and tie 9 to 5 guy.

I was never going to be that. It's like you're like, sanctum caused this.

I don't want to talk about sanctum because it's almost like you're saying,

I chose this over you and look how amazing it's doing and look how I'm

profiting. I think I made the right choice. Okay, that's good to know. And

like... I don't want you to feel that way.

I hate it. Whenever you do that, it's like smacking me across the face. Why?

Because I was left.

I've been replaced and abandoned by this alter ego of his and this

persona and this party and this lifestyle and all of his cronies and all

people that are, like, following it. That was a pretty bold choice to leave,

move out, like, consciously and verbally.

say like this is what i'm choosing and this is what i'm gonna go do and this is

my authentic self and i'm a natural hedonist and like all of those things

you said he didn't choose me and that it's very hurtful it's hard for me

knowing that he could have changed everything he could have saved

the whole thing and he chose not to

I'm just so curious, like, why you chose what you chose.

Before my ex -wife and I split, she wanted me to get a job as a real estate

agent. I got my real estate license. I started doing that.

But I realized that this is just not me.

And that I stayed on that path would have, it would have been terrible.

I haven't seen Melissa in a while.

Damon gets to party and I get to work and organize.

I've learned over the years of doing this that if you put a bed in a room,

say, go at it, people are going to feel uptight about that. They're not going to

be turned on. They're going to feel pressure and they're probably not going

do it. But if I set up an environment where people slowly sort of evolve

into a space where they begin to get turned on and things start to kind of

in that direction, then that bed gets used.

they smile and they laugh and they have fun and it's wonderful but then they go

back to their real life i beat myself up a lot about my marriage ending

you know and taking this direction but i'm learning

through this process to kind of let go a little bit. And I've been realizing

that, you know, I'm a really lucky person. I've created my own version of

Disneyland, and it feels like home.
