of course. We've got to get straight into chatting about the show.

What did you make of the murder in plain sight?

Oh, I mean, Alan Carr is the best Traitor at murdering in plain sight.

He's incredible, and he's had to do both of them, to be fair. Yeah.

Which, to be fair, he took one for the team.

I don't think Cat Burns would have got away with it as much.

When you're watching it, it looks so obvious...

Yeah... but he just does it so effortlessly.

Yeah. Do you know what I mean? It's incredible.

He almost kissed Celia in the process.

He leant right in, didn't he?

"Now, what do you think the murder in plain sight was?"

"Well, Alan snogged Celia at the dinner party.

"Maybe that had something to do with it."

Now, I'm very excited

to bring on my first celebrity guest, Celia Imrie.

But before I do, let's see what she had to say

immediately after being murdered, up in the Highlands,

when I revealed who the Traitors were.

Hello, Celia. Hello.

So nice to meet you. And you. Grab a seat.

I'm mad about your shirt. Thank you very much.

I'm mad about your shoes. Yes, I bet.

Welcome to Uncloaked, Celia. Thank you very much.

They really are fantastic boots.

I don't want to hang around on them too much,

because I've got other questions to ask you,

but they are amazing. Well, I haven't had a chance to wear them, you see,

and I thought that Claudia would approve,

had she seen them. Yes.

But damn it, she hasn't.

Well, we'll make sure she sees this. Yes.

So she can fully approve.

So you were holding them back for maybe further in the game?

I was holding them back for the finale, actually,

because I was all ready to win.

Why not? Is that what you thought?

Were you confident going into the game?

No, of course not. But as I... as days went on,

I thought, "Well, actually, having got this far,"

so I'm really fed up that I didn't, but never mind.

You did come very close, though. Yeah.

You lasted a good time and you were absolutely amazing in the game.

Well... Iconic in the game.

And you love the show, right? I do. You'd seen a lot of Traitors? Yes.

So you must have been thrilled when you signed up to do it.

Oh, of course. I wasn't sure whether,

you know, I'd be any good, but, actually,

once I'd got the invitation, it was sort of irresistible.

My son's reaction just haunts me because I didn't tell him,

but he said, "Well, what are you doing, Mum?"

And I said, "Well, I can't tell you, but you can guess."

When he guessed,

he just went, "Oh, Mum! Oh, God. Oh, no."

Meaning, "You're going to be so embarrassing."

Well, I hope I'm not, but who cares?

Well, you're not at all.

I'm sure he's going to be very, very proud of you,

because you've done incredibly well.

What were you looking forward to most about the experience,

other than embarrassing your son?

My best friend said, "Just be yourself."

Well, that's something I rarely have been asked to be, really,

so I determined to see if I could just not play a part,

but just be real.

Do you think that's something you managed?

I hope I have, because I think people

get the wrong impression of me.

First of all, they think I'm nice,

which is ridiculous because I'm not.

Also, they think I'm a bit posh,

which maybe, but not only.

And I hope people think I have more fun than they perhaps imagined.

I think you've had a lot of fun in there. I have.

And created a lot of the fun, from what I've seen.

It's such a brilliant game, I think, but I also think it's cruel.

Yes. I mean, certainly from a Faithful perspective,

if you're constantly worried you're going to be murdered. Yes.

Funnily enough, I wasn't, really. Mm.

It's bizarre to say that, but...

And I was so shocked

when they killed me off in plain sight!

No, but I think that's the way to go.

I think that's the way... That's the way you want to go.

Either in the way that Paloma went or the way you went.

You know, in plain sight is so much more memorable

and iconic than just sneaking away in the night. Yes.

Yes, I think... I agree. Yeah.

Now, this is a very exciting moment, certainly for us.

It might be a worrying moment for you,

but we're about to reveal to you who the Traitors are.

Well, whoever they are, I'm going to hate them.

That's for certain.

Having loved them... Yes. ..I'm now going to hate them.

Good.

Before I do reveal them to you, I would like to know,

do you have any suspicions?

Alan and Joe.

They've particularly been nice to me lately.

So is that what's raised your suspicions about Alan and Joe,

that they've been nice to you? Yes, I'm afraid so.

Yes, I'm afraid so. Just in the way that Jonathan was.

And what about your definite Faithfuls?

Do you have any? Erm...

It would be terrible if it turns out to be Nick.

I did ask him point blank,

and I believed him when he said he was a Faithful.

But then, if he is, if he turns out to be a Traitor, then goddammit!

I was right at the very beginning that he was up to something.

Before he was even made a Traitor, if he is. Yes. Yeah.

Well, all will now be revealed.

I'm going to give you the scroll now.

We'll go one by one. OK.

So, let's see, and tell us what you think.

Oh, my God. What's the name?

Cat. But I did...

Honestly, she was my second vote.

Goddammit, little minx.

But you are the only person to have voted for Cat

at the Round Table.

Yes, and very early on. Very... Second Round Table.

She was my second one. Mm. So my instinct was right.

Yeah. And he did this whole act of

when I said, "Well, I'm worried about you."

I was very helpful to Cat. She said I was.

Yeah. I think that's... That was real, though.

That was real. I think she was genuinely scared on that bridge

and I think you were incredibly helpful,

so that was real. Yes. Well, I wouldn't again next time.

Of course. We've got a lot to talk about.

We have. Of course, your murder in plain sight,

but before we get to that,

can we briefly discuss the fart?

We can. That it's now...

It's now out there in the world, as it were. Apparently.

Yeah, but it was only a tiny one.

I know, but it was picked up on everyone's mic.

But the great thing is

that it's given everybody a good laugh. Absolutely.

Did you like it? I loved it. I was in hysterics.

We won't hang around on it too long, Celia,

but farting is such sweet sorrow.

I've been waiting to say that for so long.

Quite right. We should talk about this murder in plain sight,

because that was an absolutely huge moment.

How do you feel now that you've seen how it happened?

Well, I don't remember it at all,

but I... the genius of it is Alan bringing Stephen into it.

Yes. Because if he'd started

sprouting Shakespeare like that, I would have thought,

"What on earth's he on about?"

You know, so that was really clever. Yeah.

And also it was very interesting,

because how the atmosphere has changed.

I mean, watching the most recent ones,

it got really serious. Yeah.

And although the dinner was lovely, it felt a bit peculiar.

It felt, why are they suddenly giving us a dinner? Mm-hm.

It seemed a peculiar thing to do at that point.

That's what they do. Yeah.

You think it's over and then they just throw

another curveball in there. I know.

I know. The dinner party is always...

There's always a tense atmosphere in Traitors

when there's a dinner party. Yes.

And sometimes it's used for nefarious things,

and then sometimes it's just a nice chat. Yeah.

So you never know what it's going to be.

I think by that time, we didn't think anything was nice.

Yeah.

Not anything. We were suspicious all the way round.

You did have a lovely chat at the dinner party.

It was a nice moment, until it wasn't. I did,

and also I thought he was trying to kiss me at one point!

That's what I just said. Pig.

Yeah, you even say to him... I did.

..you go, "Did Stephen kiss you before going to bed?"

Exactly. It was all...

I mean, honestly.

And, you know, I was teased because I kept going around

the place saying, "These Traitors are very clever."

I kept saying it to Alan.

Yeah. But they were.

Yes. They really, really were.

Well, let's remind ourselves of that moment

when Alan sealed your fate.

Stephen, you know, he's just got that brain... Yeah.

..and it's just the quotes and everything he'd say

and, you know, just... Ooh, like, "Tempus fugit" and what's...?

What did he say to me before he went to bed?

"Parting is such sweet sorrow, Celia."

Mwah! You know what I mean?

He was like... Did he give you a kiss?

No, no, I was trying... This is a...

Don't build your hopes up. Erm...

Well, Alan's been very clever, I think,

like you say, bringing Stephen into the murder in plain sight.

Yes, but honestly, Ed. When you watch it back,

Alan's so obvious!

You know, you just think, "What were we thinking about?"

I mean, I love that he laughs at everything... Yeah.

..and laughs at saying he's Faithful and everything.

It's very, very clever.

He's so obvious that he's not obvious,

and I actually think

that if he could murder in plain sight every day,

I think he'd win. So do I. Yeah.

There's a wonderful moment where you do say to Alan,

basically directly asking him, "Are you a Traitor?" I did, yeah.

I don't think you are. No, thank you. I'm sure you're not.

I'm not. No. I would die if you are.

And he says,

"Oh, no, no, I wouldn't do that, Celia, no."

Yeah. Blah, blah, blah.

I feel like... I feel like that sealed your fate,

because you got a bit more confident. Well...

Yeah, that's the thing and, also,

I was leading everybody to come with me about Jonathan... Yes.

..and I thought, actually, this is very dangerous.

I did warn myself, but went ahead anyway.

But I think that's what we wanted from the Faithful

at that stage of the game, though. Somebody had to.

We needed you guys to get a Traitor.

Yes. And to lead the charge against Jonathan

I think was the right thing to do at that moment.

I loved his speech. Yeah. I loved his speech.

But I was quite glad not to have to do that,

because I don't know how you put it in words, but he was very smart

in his leprechaun green.

Little devil. Traitor green.

It was Traitor green. Traitor green, yes, yes, yes.

That's how obvious he was at that point. Yes.

He was just basically wearing a cloak to breakfast.

You've been a very popular and very perceptive player, Celia.

Oh, good. Obviously, the snooping.

Yes. We need to talk about the snooping.

Yes. Going around telling people that you were snooping.

Was that your game plan going in?

No, not really, but I just thought, well,

that's what you have to do, you know,

and watch very carefully, you know, people.

But watching it back, you just think,

"Why didn't I see that?" You know, it's ridiculous now.

But everybody was very good at covering up.

Why did it take the Faithful so long to find a Traitor?

That's the weird thing.

I mean, the herd thing is a fascinating

piece of psychology I found right from the word go.

And actually,

I don't think I ever really went with the crowd.

No, I think you're right.

I think... and a lot of people took that as you were

throwing in curveballs or you were just doing your own thing,

but I think that's what more people needed to do

rather than go with the herd. Yeah.

But I don't know why that suddenly sets in.

It's like a sort of infection. Yeah. It's absolutely peculiar.

No, hats off to you for actually standing on business,

because people just like to kind of hide in the crowd... Yes.

..whereas you actually stood up and you said what you thought.

But it makes you more dangerous.

It does make you more dangerous, but you've lasted quite a while.

But I like being dangerous.

That's whole point of life, isn't it?

The last thing I wanted to do going in there was any regrets.

If you didn't say something that you truly felt,

you might have gone out and regretted not saying that.

So... Yeah. I'm glad that you spoke about Cat,

you spoke about Alan and you spoke about Jonathan.

You've actually named all three Traitors.

Yeah. So that deserves, you know, a round of applause.

Go on, then.

No, I'm kidding, I'm kidding, I'm kidding, I'm kidding.

No, come on.

Now, our next banished player, Kate Garraway,

found herself under a great deal of suspicion

throughout her time in the game,

and those suspicions finally caught up with her at the last Round Table.

Here's what happened when I saw her straight after

she was banished, up in the Highlands.

Welcome, Kate.

I was set free and banished! Welcome to Uncloaked.

How are you? Good. How are you, more to the point?

Well. Fantastic, thank you. Look at your roaring fire.

Welcome to Uncloaked, Kate. Thank you.

It's lovely to be here with you.

It's also rather sad... Yeah.

..because it means I'm out of the game

and I've become completely obsessed now.

But you lasted a very long time in the game.

Which is staggering, actually, because I genuinely thought I would

go out the very first night and be murdered,

because what I've realised now is

that I have no idea how I come across.

I just thought I came across as a really obvious Faithful.

Instead, they all thought I was suspicious.

A lot of suspicion coming your way

and quite early on in the game as well.

Very first round.

I can see you're excited...

I am... to find out who the Traitors are.

I can't wait. Well, you'll have to wait for a little bit longer... Oh.

..because I'm going to ask you who you think they are, first.

What about my time on the show makes you think I'll have an answer?

Well, I know you'll have an answer, because you know

that giving the answer is what allows me to get this scroll out.

Oh, my gosh, it's a give and take.

So, I'm pretty sure that Nick and Cat are Faithful.

OK. Joe M I was sure was a Faithful,

but now I think he might have played me for a fool,

because he won over my trust very late on.

I've got question marks about Alan.

I don't think it's David.

I'm going to go for Joe M and Alan.

I'm just going to do it.

This is the moment now, Kate. Big moment.

OK. We're going to take it name by name.

Name by name. Name by name.

There's a name a fold.

If you read the name... I'm almost too scared.

Read the name out for me. I've got PTSD for finding these sealed

envelopes now, that I'm about to be murdered.

Right.

Oh, my God.

Cat.

Wow.

Your definite Faithful.

I really thought she was a Faithful.

And Alan.

You got one. I got one, I got one.

A bit late in the game, but I got one.

I'm amazed at Cat. But also, interestingly,

she never asked me a single question to try and work out,

and, of course,

she knew I was a Faithful, so she didn't need to work it out. Yeah.

And Alan probably kept on saying,

"Of course you're a Faithful,"

because he also knew I was a Faithful. Mm-hm.

Well, thank you, Cat and Alan, for keeping me in...

..for so long. This is... You're the first person

to be grateful to the Traitors, Kate.

I'm so grateful

that you didn't murder me or banish me earlier.

Welcome, Kate. Thank you. Now you've seen the episodes back...

Yes.

..do you agree with the suggestion that you're a bit of a ham maybe?

And did you think at any point, "Maybe I'll tone it down today?"

No, there's no chance of any toning down, Ed, ever.

No, I think a lot of people see me reading the news,

interviewing politicians,

and don't realise

that I'm quite over the top and ludicrous most of the time. I see.

Yeah. I think anybody I've ever worked with, knows that,

and friends do.

So people always say, "Oh, my God, you're so over the top."

And I should have really said that but, you know...

I guess that's something that you can't bring to your job

when you're interviewing politicians.

You can't go, "Oh, you said what in the Houses of Parliament?!"

Hang on a minute! No, you can't be all panto, can you? Yeah.

But there is definitely that element to my character.

And I suddenly thought, "Oh, my God,

"I've just realised that people only have

"a certain perception, from TV." You know what I mean?

Celia, in your expert opinion, was Kate a ham in the castle?

I would never have said that.

No, actually. I love you, Celia. No, no, I really wouldn't.

Yeah. I mean, I thought you might have been playing a very,

very clever game... Ah. ..because people underestimated you.

Yes. And that's what was good. That is good.

But no, I would never have said that.

I'd call myself one, perhaps.

I think a lot of what people have been quoting back to me

from you in the castle was, "Maybe someone's been recruited."

It's the repetition of "Maybe somebody's been recruited."

See, do you know what that is? That's actually stupidity.

So everything is like on a satellite delay in my brain.

So somebody said, "Maybe someone..." And I'm going,

"Ohh, maybe someone's been recruited,"

because it's just gradually processing.

But, yeah, taken out of context... But it's a wonderful moment.

..it's ludicrous. But looking back,

did you think, "God, we were so stupid."? You know?

Oh... Really, how obvious. I don't think there's any looking back.

I just felt stupid the entire time.

I felt stupid and disorientated.

And, actually, I thought

that was a reason why maybe I was being saved,

because I kind of thought they all...

I didn't know who the Traitors were, obviously,

so I kind of thought maybe

they just think I'm an utterly stupid, dizzy blonde,

so therefore no threat, never going to catch them.

And to be fair, I was.

Celia, you were always very forthcoming with your suspicions,

as we've said,

but you never once voted for Kate at the Round Table.

Why weren't you suspicious of her? No, I didn't, actually.

You didn't think it was me? No, I didn't. No.

Would you have liked to have been a Traitor?

Were you disappointed that you weren't?

No, I definitely went in being a Faithful,

Now, I would have actually wanted to be a Traitor,

because I didn't really get properly the role of a Faithful.

I feel like paranoia kind of set in for you,

and I feel like you were... Yeah.

..so desperate to convince people that, "I am a Faithful,"

the more you tried to convince people,

the more they thought you were a Traitor, because...

And I think you started Round Tables

by asking, like, "Who thinks I'm a Traitor?

"Can you explain to me?"

Yes, you did. I think you got in your head a bit about it.

How were you on the Round Table? Yeah.

Because you are a champ.

I was quite vocal... Were you? ..and just said what I feel,

but it is hard because you've got to get the right balance,

because if you speak too much...

Did anybody really come at you, though?

I can't remember now... No, not really.

..because, to be honest, everything pre-Traitors is wiped for me. Yeah.

I feel like... I think if you're being attacked...

Yeah, particularly early on, like you were.

..and you have to defend yourself, that then makes you... Yeah.

It's quite a different dialogue, isn't it? You go into your shell

and it's probably harder, like you say, to kind of get these theories

when people are opening up to you because they suspect you.

They suspect you. Yeah.

You all seemed to get on quite well in there,

so how much did the game bring you together?

I think it's a really special thing.

I mean, one of the reasons I wanted to come in,

to be honest, I never thought I was going to be...

I never thought I would survive as long as I did

and I never thought I would be very good at the game.

I just thought, "Look at that bunch of people,"

and to get the chance to spend time with them in a way

that you just wouldn't in any other bit of life,

we're like a family now, Celia, aren't we?

Well, I never want to see any of them ever again.

Jake, what is it like having celebrities now

as part of the Traitors family?

Amazing. Welcome in. Aw.

Well, you are a celebrity anyway. Well...

Not like you guys. I feel like it's been amazing to watch such big stars

that I've grown up watching on the screen... Oh, bless you.

..and to see you really get stuck into the game,

I was, not worried, but I was a bit, like, curious

to see how you would attack it.

Yeah. But you were so, like, immersed

in the game and really give it,

all the missions and the Round Table.

That first Round Table, I was blown away at how people

were just going after people.

Yeah. I was shocked,

but that's what makes the series so good.

Right from the word go, though, we were, weren't we? Yeah.

Because my son was worried, too.

He thought we'd all be poncing about and not playing, but we didn't.

We really went straight in.

You did. Absolutely. I mean, you were suspicious of Nick

before the Traitor selection.

Oh, yeah. Yeah. Oh, yes.

Alan has been effortlessly entertaining all series,

and I think he reached peak Alan tonight

when the final five gathered round

and had to declare that they were Faithful.

I am a Faithful.

Nick.

I am...

..a Faithful.

Alan.

I am a Faithful.

I am! I am a Faithful!

I just get nervous.

Oh, Alan. Sorry, I am a Faithful.

Thank you. No, I'm not having it. I am.

That is just another confirmation of

what I'm thinking already about Alan.

He can't even look us in the eyes

and say, "I'm a Faithful."

Incredible. Absolutely amazing,

and amazing that someone's finally picked up on it.

And that is the downfall of Alan Carr.

I think that is the moment that'll, I believe,

will get him banished.

Do you think? I think. He's played such an amazing game.

He's been so obvious, that it's not obvious,

but that has just been too far.

Yeah. But he was quite quiet at the Round Table, if you look back.

Mm. Yeah. Quite cleverly quiet.

And then when... Especially at the beginning.

Joe Marler actually said to him,

he said, "I'd like to hear from you." Exactly. He got his back up.

He didn't like that. Yes. Yes.

He didn't like that. And that's not like Alan. No. No.

He should have just giggled and sweated.

Now, I'm very pleased to say

that we've got one final guest to chat to on the show.

She managed to escape the clutches of the banshee

and got all the way to Greece.

Have you been watching each episode with

the same intensity that you played the game?

Oh, definitely not.

Certainly not with the same intensity.

There was an enormous amount of intensity in the living of it,

but it's much more with sort of

joy and relief and intrigue as well,

because, of course, you know,

we don't get to see everything.

So it's fascinating to understand the game

with the sort of different contextual bits.

We've got to talk about the wailing banshees mission.

Yeah. I'm sure you guys were all absolutely... Fabulous.

..like, won over by how brilliant

Charlotte was in that. Oh, fabulous.

She was off-the-scale brilliant.

Aw. Was it exciting to see that there was a mission

that involved some singing in there?

Yeah. It was... Yeah, it was so exciting.

But also just the whole setting of it all,

it was really enchanted in that beautiful garden

with wells and, you know,

so therefore, for me,

it's like there's quite a lot of mythic folklore

and banshees and sirens,

and so I was so into that game.

But, of course, I mean,

everyone was branding you MVP of that mission,

but I think Celia nearly stole the show

with the wailing into the...

What did you make of Celia's vocal talents

now that you've seen them?

I mean, I mean, Celia's just Celia.

Just you, Celia, you're just such...

You're so...

I think you're the most mischievous person

I've ever come across in my life. Well,

I'm thinking that you and I should do a duet

or something like that, don't you think?

Come on. That would be so good. I mean, literally.

The voice of an angel and the voice of a banshee.

I'd sing the Yellow Pages with you, Celia.

Oh, marvellous, you are.

Now, you listed Kate as a definite Faithful.

Thank you, Charlotte!

The only one. The only one in the whole show!

And you were actually suspicious

of Celia at the very end.

Yes. Now, obviously, they're both here with me today.

Have you got, have you got anything you'd like

to say about those suspicions or otherwise?

Well, I just thought that Celia was just

so mischievous

and just having such a delightful time,

that was certainly... That's how it appeared to me,

that I just thought that she would hack it

easy-peasy, no problem.

Well, I was having a wonderful time,

but then, you see, I'm...

Please forgive me, because I voted for you with Cat.

Yeah, that's OK. That was one of your votes, Celia,

where everyone was very surprised,

I think, when everyone else

was doing the herd mentality thing

and you just threw in a vote for Charlotte,

and even you were completely taken aback by that, Charlotte,

I seem to remember.

Yeah, but also deeply honoured

by everything that Celia said

and the reasoning that she voted for me as well.

You know, I was sort of, like...

..camping it up

and also shocked,

but secretly, really,

as soon as I took a moment to think about it,

absolutely delighted.

Charlotte, how's the reaction been now

that all of your episodes are out there in the world?

Mm. What's...? Has anything surprised you about the reaction?

It's evident how much people love the show

and, yeah,

I think it's just been... it's just been really nice

and, literally, even when I phoned my GP's surgery

the other day, all they were talking about was Traitors.

So I literally...

I haven't been able to escape it.

Any sort of interaction that I've had

has just been pretty much Traitors focused.

Well, congratulations, Charlotte.

You played an amazing game.

And also massive congratulations

on getting through to your GP's surgery.

So, we've got our final five players - Joe Marler,

Cat, Alan, David, and Nick.

How finely balanced do you think the game is now?

I think very balanced. You've got on one side,

you've got Joe and Nick that are finally working together

and they're, like, the leaders of the Faithfuls.

And then on the Traitors' side you've got Cat and Alan

that have worked really well.

And I feel like David's right in the middle.

Yeah. And he can be swayed either way,

and it really... That is how it's going to go.

It's either going to go to the left or to the right,

and it basically all relies on David.

Celia, if you had a chance to go back

and play as a Traitor,

do you think you'd make a good Traitor?

Yes, I do.

Very good. I agree. I agree, as well. I agree.
