and I know that we all miss her.

But I'm so proud of how these young ladies

have united to face this tragedy.

And even in our sadness,

I'd like to celebrate their achievements.

Several members of our varsity team

have secured scholarships

to play for some of the top schools in the country,

and I'd like to announce those now.

Vanessa Marshall is going to the University of Florida.
