We're going to build the first new road in Sunflower Valley!

First we need a road between here and our new yard.

road's going to be - then we'll pour in layers of gravel.

Well, Dizzy, we're not using concrete for the road.

After the gravel, we put down some special tarmac

called bitumen.

Ahh! Do I mix that in my drum?

Sorry, Dizzy - you'd get all sticky!

But you can keep an eye on us and make sure we're doing

a good job.

Last of all, we mix some stones in with the bitumen and Roley

rolls the road flat. Hey, where is Roley?

When you've done that we'll pour on the hot bitumen,

add those stones in and Roley can roll it flat!

Er, yeah, I think so.

Now that is what I call a road!

[cheering]

It's a really cool road. I wish my friend, Birdie,

was here to see it too.
