Rose and I, that's my wife, we were both working crazy hours.

And we had a young daughter at home, so I just started cooking dinners at home,

you know, to help out.

And then I started cooking for the guys at the station, you know, and it was

fun. Just coming up with new dishes, new recipes.

I don't know, the dishes weren't so good.

They got better over time. Hey, it sounds like you had natural talent when

Actually, to tell you the truth, I feel most like myself when I'm cooking.

Yeah, especially this time of year. We do a big toy drive down at the fire

station. We also have Santa's reading where Santa comes in and he reads to the

kids. And then on Christmas Eve, I like to do something special for the guys, so

I cook them a big meal for them and their families just as a way to say

Now what's different this year is that tons of women have flocked to our small

town to try to meet local firefighter Patrick Jacob after he was featured on
