following advice from eminent virology professor,

Michael Whithall, has taken the unprecedented step

of placing the entire town of Sanctuary in quarantine

until the mystery virus can be brought under control.

RYAN: DC Henshaw,

I need to see Chief Inspector Bolt

at Sanctuary Police Station.

OFFICER [OOV]: Open up the rear of the vehicle please.

RYAN: Err this book, it's a highly dangerous spell book.

I've been ordered to take it to Chief Inspector Bolt

as a matter of urgency and public safety.

OFFICER: I'll see it gets delivered.

DCI MAGGIE KNIGHT: [SIGHS]

ANNA PTC [ON TV]: And though police

are not naming a source,

an expert has suggested a link to the mystery virus

and to the involvement of witchcraft.

IZZY: How could they say that?

I was sick before and it had nothing to do with witchcraft.

It's so unfair, now Sarah's getting blamed

and everyone's hating on Harper and none of it's her fault.

CHERYL: We don't know that sweetheart.

That virus turned just to be a virus,

Michael Whithall was responsible for Jake's death,

Ted Bolt lost his shit and shot him,

he was subsequently electrocuted by a dodgy mic.

RYAN: And Abigail Whithall?

DCI MAGGIE KNIGHT: So grief stricken

she threw herself off the top of a building.

RYAN: And no other startling revelations.

IZZY [FLASHBACK]: Harper didn't do it,

RYAN: No magic used at any time?

MORGAN [FLASHBACK]: [STRUGGLING]

DCI MAGGIE KNIGHT: No.

I never really clocked how badly the law

is stacked against witches.

There may never be a time

people fear what they do not understand

and because of that, witches will always be outsiders,

having to fight for survival and acceptance.

I realise now it won't be different for Harper,

her path will be hard, full of obstacles and danger

but we must not return to the dark days.
