From there, I just, you know, I just fell in love with it.

Yeah, I had to have it, auction.

Sold when, er…

…when Melwood done the auction to get rid of loads of bits.

[Elliott] I didn't know you was gonna get it.

[Scott] You didn't know. I saw it, and thought, 'I've gotta have that.

I've gotta have that in my house'.

This is probably the most emotional…

of your journey so far.

We had just signed for Liverpool

and after we had, erm-- well, you had just signed for Liverpool, not 'we'.

[laughs]

But, erm…

as we were driving back after sort of meeting Jürgen,

Harvey grabbed my arm on the motorway, and said 'We did it together'.

And we both burst out crying, didn't we?

Then we pulled over on the hard shoulder

and we just had this embracing hug for about a minute.

And Harvey presented me with a shirt.

It was like, yeah, my favourite ever moment.

[Elliott] I think every part's for my dad.

I'm kind of livin' his dream.

So…

you know, as much as possible, I try and live it with him.

You were three, when I took him to Anfield for the first time.

-[Elliott] Yeah, -So, I remember, you were in the park

opposite the Kop on my shoulders,

and you was singing old songs with the fans.

Yeah, for me it's… it's just been all my life.

[Scott] You've gotta have dreams in life.

I think, everyone has to have a dream.

And when it comes true it's, er…

it's amazin'.

The quality was just absolutely outstandin'.

When I beat him, I love it. I sleep perfectly afterwards.

We drove home, and we didn't talk for a long time

about that-- about the game.

When we finally started talking about what happened on the afternoon,

it was like… Jürgen wouldn't have anything like whinging about the dropped points.

It was always, like, if we keep it together,

you know, the other teams will stumble, as well. We just have to keep it together.

As a manager, who's 100% focused on the job,

when you see him in interviews,

he's switched on.

From mile, to mile, to mile, towards home,

the role of being the manager of Liverpool dropped off, you know?

The more-- the closer we got home,

the more he was…

'Jürgen, the normal one'.

And when we were back home,

he was completely Jürgen, and not the manager.

[Raphael] Trusting young players has always been a cornerstone

of Jürgen Klopp's coaching philosophy.

He likes to bring through those youngsters

and most importantly, he trusts them to deliver.

[Carragher] It's not easy comin' through at Liverpool.

It's one of the biggest clubs in the world

with some of the best players in the world.

So you need a manager who's got belief

in your academy system who's also brave enough,

and got the courage to put these young lads in.

[Klopp] Imagine the physicality of a 22-year-old.

And the game understanding of a 35-year-old.

[scoffs] That's a player.

From young, it's probably the same as it is now.

You see all players in front, and think, 'I wanna get in front of them'.

And other kids come in, you're thinkin', 'I wanna outperform them.'

to show them, you don't need more kids, you've got the one here.

Can anyone see my car over there?

[Danns] From young, you're playing for the contract.

You wanna sign for Liverpool as a kid.

You wanna go to the team that you support the most.

[coach] Right, who wants to play football with the first team?

I've supported the club me whole life.

Literally, from birth I've been put into it. Me dad was a Red.

-Me grandad's a Red. -[laughter]

When I was younger, erm,

I used to get messages to-- if you wanna be a ball boy

and I was always first to that message, erm…

So, I used to sing me lungs off, basically,

on the Kop End, so when I scored and ran into the crowd,

it was a surreal moment.

[fans cheering]

[kids clapping, whistling]

[Danns] It was all fun, as you're younger.

And then as you grow up, you start seein' your friends get released

and you think, yeah, this is real.

Like, I'm not playin' just to play. I'm playin' for somethin' more.

[Scott] Just lookin' at stuff.

These are things I'll go through with Harvey.

We'll look back at some highlights of each game

and think what he could do better, what he's done well.

[interviewer] Does he listen to you?

Always. He never argues. He's got his own opinion.

And we talk about things like that, but, generally, he knows I'm pretty spot on.

And he-- he'll accept that good or bad, you know?

There's praise and criticism, but you have to be able to handle both.

[Elliott] When I was a young kid, we played, er, Tottenham,

and it was either 9 - 1 or 10 - 1, and I remember scoring nine.

Erm, but…

the goal we conceded was my fault.

Went back to the car and my dad was waitin' in the car for me.

I remember he had a… a look of thunder on his face

and was, like, the goal you conceded was, you know, your fault.

It just sums him up. You know, he always wants the best for me.

He always wants more and if there's something I've done wrong,

he's told me.

From a young age when he was making mistakes,

I was on his case constantly.

I always said to him, 'Anyone can handle an arm round the shoulder,

but not many people can handle a rollocking or a telling off

in front of people, right?'

So, he can handle that.

[music pulsating slowly]

Liverpool's pursuit of silverware's relentless.

They're still in the hunt for the Premier League

and they're going after all three cups.

But whilst Manchester City have been the strongest opponent

in recent years for Liverpool,

the historic rivalry with Man United will always be much bigger.

[fan] I mean, it's a proper rivalry, isn't it?

You can… see that outside.

I think, this game takes on a little bit more importance

for the Manchester United fans as well.

Their only thing to look forward to this season is the FA Cup, isn't it?

[Jan] Right, come on, Fran. Get your regalia on. Let's go.

-We've already been insulted. -We've already had… already been insulted.

And called thievin' you-know-whats.

We're just two old women and we don't want all that mither.

We don't want all that trouble. We've not come for trouble.

-I think he's goin' to pick a strong team. -A mixture.

Er, and, er, there'll be some youngsters on the bench that he can probably call on.

I think, the young lads, er, they've got a confidence now.

They're young, aren't they? There's no fear. Yeah.

And they've got a confidence now,

cos he's had 'em in for quite a number of games 'cos he's had to.

We expect, they're gonna come away with a win

and another trip down to Wembley, Jan.

-Yeah. -They're only there really, aren't they?

-We know where we're going. -[conversation trails off]

if they get anywhere near that today, then they'll steamroll Manchester United.
