Beast Games and Survivor fused into one single groundbreaking episode.

And it could only be done with the legend behind Survivor, Jeff Probst.

So you didn't recognize this island? 'Cause you've been here.

Sue, you've won individual immunity. You're good.

Okay, so I have good luck.

But this isn't the island that one of you is about to win.

That island is a $1.8 million tropical paradise.

But with these Beast Games, now Survivor-infused,

we're gonna be doing the challenges right here on Survivor Island itself.

if we didn't let them build the first challenge.

Up to this point, you've been taking orders from me.

We're on Jeff's island, so you're the host, take it away.

Here's my take on...

on Jimmy and MrBeast and the Beast Game brand.

I think what we're doing on Survivor is very similar to what you're doing.

It is a social experiment.

What I love about Beast Games is you use money

to ask a very simple question, "What will you do for money?"

A lot of our inspiration came from Survivor.

I mean, you're the godfather of challenges,

and so just wanted to shake your hand. Thank you. You're a big inspiration.

- You wanna get into it? All right. - Yeah. I'm ready.

We have a challenge set up.

It's going to run five-on-five, relay style,

so each player is gonna run through a twisted net,

and then you will each complete one individual task.

The first person will toss coconuts until it's heavy enough to drop the key.

The second person will sort through tiles. You'll get another key.

The third person will try to land a ball on a very narrow perch.

The fourth player will follow this table track

and maneuver that ball until you drop it in the target.

Then that fifth player will finish MrBeast's puzzle.

First team to finish moves on to the second challenge.

The five of you on the losing team will be out of the running

to win the island.

It feels like we should do a schoolyard pick.

Step forward if you think you should be a captain.

Oh, this is good. Five captains.

But since there will only be two teams,

obviously, we can only have two captains.

- Why do you think you should be a captain? - It's simple.

You know, I've been in the most challenges out of all Beast Games.

I'm gonna pick the best team.

I want my fate to be in my hands on a team that I chose.

Strong versus smart. I'm dying to know how this plays out.

I want both of them, to be honest with you.

But I'm also thinking of one area

that I feel like we need someone to take care of for us,

and hopefully that person can do what I'm gonna ask him to do.

One of the most iconic challenges of Survivor.

The basic idea is you're gonna hold on to that pole for as long as you can.

And of course, the moment your feet hit the sand,

I want to tell you that this is a dream right here.

And it's a dream that has... has grown into something special.

Where my dream of not only final Tribal Council,

but it's Beast Games Tribal Council. It's the best of both worlds.

You know, as a kid, I would sit down with my nine siblings,

and I would watch Survivor, and my mom and dad was there.

And I could see myself sitting right here and being able to pitch my case.

You know, I'm an emotional guy.

And, for a long time, I tried to keep that in,

but, you know, my mom, before I left, said that being emotional

is not a weakness in a man, and that I should be true to myself.

So I'm super proud of you, Tyler.

My man up top, turning down $1 million for me.

You know, that means a lot.

You wouldn't be here if he didn't do that.

Because I know what it would do for you and your family

and, um, same, Nick, Jeff, and Hannah. You guys up top.

I give you guys all the credit in the world, but just being here,

I am fulfilling my dream.

And my dream, I thought, coming on the show,

was to be at the end of Beast Games, the champion,

but I'm realizing that it's this moment.

I worked at a corporate America job for 14 years,

You know, I think you've done wonders for your reputation coming on.

That's a lot to take in,

but appreciate you being open and transparent with everyone.

I'd like to start off by saying that I feel honored and blessed

to be here with you guys. I don't come from a life of privilege.

Everything that I've worked for in life, everything that I've wanted,

I've sacrificed for.

I was reflecting over my life, and in my 51 years,

I have never crossed that finish line. I've never been in first place.

I've always been close, but not close enough.

Good, but not good enough.

And this is an opportunity to change my story.

But more than anything, I look back at season one...

...and I have to learn from that experience.

I messed up.

I made a bad decision.

I was inconsiderate.

And being in season two allows me the opportunity to fix

the parts of myself that are broken.

To look back and reflect and say, "Hey, this is not who I am.

I need to do better."

I'm the underdog in this competition. I'm the dark horse, you know.

I've had to work twice as hard just to kind of rebuild that trust.

This is the only win I really need.

I'm there to support you guys and get you through the rest of the challenges.

I'm gonna give you my word on that.

The moment my sons were born, I looked into their eyes,

and I promised them that I would give them a better life.

I'm just fighting for my family. And my fate is in your hands.

I'm hoping you allow me to fulfill that promise for them.

When we're up on the poles, you had the opportunity as well to take

help you further accomplish?

So the $1.8 allows me to set my life up for my children,

create college funds for them,

create a little bit of generational wealth for them.

The money that I won in the first season paid off all my bills.

I didn't buy anything fun.

So it's just a matter of me creating a nest egg for them,

so that when I'm not here, they're taken care of.

To you, Ian, as well. You had the opportunity at $50,000.

That'd be enough for me.

If it was just me, I probably would have taken it.

But it's not enough for my wife and kids.

I was falling when you took that bribe, and I know you didn't have to.

What specifically was inconsiderate that you did in season one?

- I put my family before everybody else's. - That's inconsiderate?

Yeah, because they have stories to tell as well.

They've gone through hardships as well. And I put myself first.

Tonight is the first night I've ever heard that.

- I know. - And it's fitting,

that when something else is on the line, now you're sharing it.

I've had a lot of time, Jeff, to reflect on my decisions.

That's something I live with, and I'm trying to be the best version

of myself I can possibly be.

And it's looking back and looking at that ugly stuff, right?

And saying, "How can I be better? How can I fix myself?"

I get it.

I have a question. If either of you were to win

the island tonight, especially you, Ian--

Ian, you're such a competitor.

Well, it's the biggest difference between Survivor that I've seen so far

is a jury on Survivor has nothing at stake.

They're choosing a winner. That's it.

The stakes over here are potentially a $5 million payday.

and I can trust them to keep their word,

and as you say, eliminate, sooner or later, one of these two.

And I've heard a lot about Ian and his family.

And 100%, he deserves this. Like, he's a family man,

- and he loves his wife and kids. - This is the next phase.

The jury starts to lobby for the person they want.

I mean, this is fascinating to watch it play out

with a different set of people in a different environment,

but the same behavior comes out.
