The day someone tried to force
my wife's car off the road,

I closed up the office
and left town.

that could help Harley now?

Well, there might be.

There's a transcript
of the trial, short and sweet,

and crooked as
a night-crawling worm.

There's a copy of the appeal.

And some personal papers.

This one is a commendation

from the US Navy where Harley
served during World War I.

It states, he was responsible
for the rescue of two men

when his ship was sunk
after taking a torpedo.

He never told me about that.

Isn't there anything to
be done for Harley now?

The first thing you'll need to
do is get him a good lawyer.

Looks to me like Harley
had himself a good lawyer.
