that's why this means so much to me too

because he's such a great guitar player.

One of the characteristics of TS

is they have ADHD like characteristics when they're younger,

so when he was in grade 3, he wanted to play the piano

and I'll never forget the teacher came up

and she said, "I can't teach him, he can't sit still,

he'll never play an instrument,"...

so I don't know if I could do it because Adam goes,

- You have to. - ..."You should go acoustic

and let him sing it with him,"

- and I go, "Oh!" I don't know. - You might get emotional. Yeah.

I think Chase will be amazing,

I just hope that I'm strong enough to get through the song

without breaking down.

It's a perfect day to have a business meeting outside

at our favorite frozen yogurt shop.

Mia's coming. Jordan's coming.

Jordan's my assistant, she's young, she's charming, she's emotional.

I got in a fight with the bus driver.

I'm quite delighted when Mia does finally arrive

and she informs me she's taken the 52-seat limousine.

Okay, I was in a cab, there was so much traffic,

so I asked the cab, drop me off and I'll get out and take a bus over.

So he drops me off and the bus just zooms right by me.

The West Van bus is just passing by me and I'm like, "What the hell?"

Well, did the bus not see that you were getting on?

No, I was standing right there.

- Did you wave? - Yeah.

Flagging down a bus isn't the same as flagging down a cab apparently.

So I ran down after him, running in stilettos like, "Stop!

Wait! For me!"

And then he wouldn't stop, so I kept running

and I was knocking on the glass...

So everyone on the bus is screaming, "Let her on the bus!

Let her on the bus!" and nope.

Wasn't letting me on the bus.

- What an. - So everyone's like pointing

and showing me where the next bus stop was,

so I ran as fast as I could.

- Did you write his number down? - It'd be a lot of work.

When I finally got on, I was like, "You have bad karma.

You're a bad person."

He's like, "Whatever you say. Blah, blah, blah."

- So you did get on the bus? - Eventually, after the next bus stop.

But then do you know how much the bus costs?

I was like, "You're just joking."

He's like, "I'm not lying."

He really didn't want you on that bus.

And then everyone on the bus was like, "Yay!"

The girls love to pick on me.

I mean, it's exhausting sometimes the two of them

when we're really there for a business meeting.

It's our newly collected clothing line

and we are planning a huge party this week, complete with models.

200 people, 250 for the party.

The whole concept for the show is- Who's gonna be the models?

- Like-- - Ronnie should be our model.

And Paige. Paige is hot.

You know, the line will be interesting.

Mia has a really good concept of what she's doing and I'm the bank!

The Tuberous Sclerosis fundraiser that I've got coming up

is really important to me.

The pressure is on because I still haven't confirmed the venue.

Adam and I are meeting with Peter Girgis

who is a restaurateur in town

and he has offered to let us maybe piggyback

onto one of his restaurants grand openings.

- Hey, buddy! - Hey. How you doing?

- Good man. - How are you?

Now, we just need to get him to commit.

- Fantastic! Have a seat. - Awesome!

I'm glad you guys showed up.

Yeah, man, thanks for having us. -Yeah.

- Cool. - The place has been really busy,

it's been really great.

My event is a charity event for Tuberous Sclerosis.

Of course, very near and dear to my heart

as I have a child affected with this disorder,

so we're going to try and raise some money and awareness

and I've written a song.

Adam's producing a song called Hero

that we're just about finished with.

We're going to have a launch of the new song

- and the new single as well. - I'm also having the media event,

so we'll have a lot of the food writers and entertainment

and social writers and bloggers in town.

Okay, I'll have some media too.

I brought Adam along as my secret weapon,

he's very well-connected.

I spoke to Ricky J and I also have Blush,

it just depends on their Visas.

I'm not quite sure who they are, but they must be famous.

- I can get Mike Reno, Loverboy. - Yeah.

- Mike Reno? - They're on tour the next day

so that's why on the 3rd, they're gone.

So we'd have to make it the second, right?

Did they tell you this?

I can't remember his name right now, he's a famous artist, he's a painter.

- Tiko? - No, he's...

Yeah. He's gonna donate two pieces

Peter is very adamant

that he doesn't want any trouble at this event and so am I.

I've been building this place for ages,

I put my heart and soul into it

so this is a really, really special day.

There's some people that you don't want to go, is that what it is?

Peter knows that I know Jody and therefore I must know Mia,

and Mia is not allowed in any of his restaurants.

She threw wine bottles at someone in another restaurant.

She curses at people, she's just got a bad, bad reputation.

I would like to have final say

- on whoever is coming. - Absolutely.

I said, "Don't worry, Mia will not be coming."

I will not invite Mia. Mia will not be a part of this event.

I'm meeting Christina at a bar called Raw Canvas,

it's a place to drink and paint.

Mary's stressed out about her upcoming fundraiser.

I've decided to paint a donkey and Jody.

It's difficult to tell one ass from the other.

So, clearly, the donkey's going to be standing with one hoof over Jody.

Christina decides to paint a donkey attacking Jody.

With its hooves, it's clawing at Jody.

The more Christina drinks, the more creative she gets.

like I just totally it up.

Turns out, I'm really bad at painting.

We're being mean, see I think if Ronnie were here,

I think she'd get mad at us.

I think Ronnie is kind of phony. And there I've said it.

Mary's skeptical about Ronnie's loyalty

because she doesn't stand up for Mary.

She seems to be really, really friendly with Jody.

Increasingly friendly with Jody.

Christina brings up Ronnie, I have to agree with her.

It's just like I think it's just she wants

to protect herself with Jody.

I think she's afraid.

Like why would she be afraid of Jody? I'm tired of Jody.

are really not Claman friendly.

I don't know that she's gonna probably wanna come but...

This is where we have to put all of our differences aside.

is going to go down with my M.I.A fashion show.

and let me say how I wanted my image. It was really nice of her.

Because usually, she is quite opinionated.

So I brought a model I've worked with who's a pretty big model in our city,

Natalie and I've worked with her before and she's fabulous.

So I brought her because I really like her face and her skin tone

so she really represents the look of what I like.

Mia wants that baby doll alien look.

She wants the focus really to be on the clothes.

And with a really bright red lip, obviously.

Mia's signature.

But not on the teeth like mine normally is.

Just on where it should be.

It is huge, which is very inspiring.

You could easily run a class in this area

and you could easily have personal training

and so forth or something else in another area.

Look at the wood beams, so it has that mother nature touch to it.

That Zen atmosphere, look at the brick walls,

look at the earthiness of it, right?

I don't want to be just a silent partner,

I want to be involved in the business itself.

You really want to push the envelope on using the entire space.

I also still have to be a mother.

Oh, there's so much potential for this space.

You couldn't really ask for anything more in this space.

I can see the branding on the windows already.

which is very awkward because I couldn't even say hello to Paige,

we kind of looked at each other and I was kind of shooed

We've got a lot of people invited to the event

and we're really excited.

A bit worried that there may be too many people for the space.

and the fashion show is less than 30 minutes away.

and really crowded downstairs as well.

They need to come all the way down here,

they're coming all the way down.

Gonna have to get you to move down, the girls are coming.

It's pretty crowded in there

and fortunately, the models don't take up too much room.

Where's this fashion show? We gotta get this show on the road.

It's time to start the show and nothing's happening.

Chou, our senior angel, looks fantastic.

Tonight, I don't have a proper space for a runway,

it doesn't work with the logistics of the store,

so it makes more sense that they come down the stairs

and walk through the people and I thought to use the stairs

because that's how Haute Couture used to show their collections.

As Coco Chanel, the models

would originally come down the stairs.

Oh, my God, it was amazing! Yes! Even Jody was impressed.

All in all, it was a fantastic party and I'm so proud of Mia.

I would never support or go to any restaurant of his.

There was some sort of altercation in a club

and someone attacked Mia and they threw Mia out.

That episode that you had was a few years ago.

It was a few years ago but I know him,

he's still gonna harp on it because that's what he's like.

I know Peter has it out for me.

I'm pretty sure if I go down there, he's gonna say something to me.

That's why I don't really want to go down there

because I don't look for drama and trouble.

Mary's a mom, she has three young boys,

she would never allow Peter

I am very excited to hear Mary sing

because I have not heard Mary sing in maybe 12, 13, 14 years.

and go in stage in front of everyone.

So I'm a bit nervous for her.

I'm about ready to sing, microphone in hand

and right across in front of me, Jody, Mia and two other blonde girls.

I look over and I see all this fur stampeding towards us.

Jody and Mia decided to arrive

with two other fur clad trampy looking blondes.

And Mia is in tow?

Last I checked, she wasn't on the guest list.

Now that Jody and Mia have decided to show up, everyone's mood shifts.

Could I count on them to ruin an event?

I mean, if they're showing up at somebody's event

whom they don't like, then, yeah.

Was that to kind of psyche Mary out?

I mean, they stood right front and center and they stared her down.

Now if I were Mary, I think that would have done

a little something to me.

I think they were trying to intimidate her.

For them to come across the stage right before I sang

and stand there with these smirky looks on their faces,

all I could concentrate on that moment on

was just, "You don't think I can sing and that's why you're here,

why don't you take a listen to this."

We finally sit down and we're drinking our drinks

when this Peter boy, one of the owners, sees Mia.

Mary will not let Peter Girgis get in the way of you. Trust me.

- We are... - He's going to do

what he wants to do, he's not a nice person.

We know we have to leave.

And Mia's like, come on, I want to go.

We're going. We're through now.

I get up to leave and as I leave, I hear this.

"Hey, Mia. Hey, Mia."

Peter Girgis.

You know you're not welcome here.

It's malicious. It's not nice.

- Oh, my God. - I was shocked.

Next thing I know, Mia's outside screaming.

I didn't want to come to this place.

I'm 50 years of age. I have never been removed

from an environment in my whole entire life.

They did?

I can always count on Jody and Mia to ruin a good event.

This meant too much to me.

I just don't want Mia anywhere near my restaurants.

They're just trash and I don't want them anywhere

near my businesses.
