Jingxian will be rich

A billionaire! That's great news!

If only she could read this herself ...

that would be so great

No wonder she's about to cry

That's right

No, I'm not happy because I'm going to be rich

I always thought that I was an orphan

And now I have a father

Come on ...

Where are you going, miss?

Japan

On a vacation?

No, visiting family. And you?

I'm attending a medical conference in Tokyo

My father is an honorary advisor for the conference

His picture is in the papers today

Your father's name is ...

Lin Zongyuan

Please do drop in if you have time

My aunt's younger cousin passed away in Tokyo lately

I heard that he was your father's legal consultant

My aunt has asked me to take care ...

of his will when I'm over there

Your father's also called Lin Zongyuan?

That's right

So is mine

I've got a letter from him, look

I've got the same one

Exactly the same, Lin Zongyuan

Ladies, my father's Lin Zongyuan too

I've also received a letter from him

It's exactly the same

Then we're sisters?

I guess so

Half sisters

You can't see?

No, my name's Peng Jingxian. I'm 18

I've been blind since I was a child

I'm very glad

I've always thought that I am an orphan

Then I found out I have a father;

And now... two sisters

Can I call you my sisters?

Sure, I'm older, my name is Situ Peifang

I'm 21, and you?

I'm the eldest, my name is Li Rongrong

I thought I was the only child

So then there're three of us

There might be more

Too bad

Peifang, shall we chat?

Sure

Come on, I'll swap seats with you

Thanks

Come here

Are you Miss Li Rongrong?

Yes, and you are ...

General Manager of the Lin Enterprise

My name is He Yinghui

And you two must be Miss Situ Peifang

... and Miss Peng Jingxian

Mr. He

Do you know Mr. Xiao Zhiqing the lawyer?

Yes, you are ...

Doctor Zhang Bin, a distant relative of Mr. Xiao

Hello, Mr. Zhang

Hi

Mr. Xiao died tragically a week ago

My aunt has received a telegram

She wants me to find out what happened

... and I'm here to take care of his will

Mr. Xiao had a Japanese assistant, Mr. Yoshida

He'll be the one to talk to

Where do you intend putting up at ?

Hotel Okura

Let me give you a lift, it's on the way

Thanks

Ladies

3 years ago Mr. Lin was diagnosed with neuralgia

He's paralyzed from his waist down

He's been staying in the Lake Shojiko's villa

He hardly comes to Tokyo

So are we going to the villa?

Yes

Then how does my father work?

Long distance phone calls

Me and the late Mr. Xiao ...

report to him every three days

Most of our staff

... have forgotten what Mr. Lin looks like now

Your father owns this hotel

So pretty

How many floors?

Twelve

Twelve?

Your father owns this Chinese restaurant too

It's Daddy's

This building is his property

And three other buildings

I'll soon be the new owner

Thanks

You're welcome, bye

Bye everyone

Bye

Hope to see you soon

Me too, call me sometime. Bye

Sure, bye

Sir

Excuse me

Do you know where the office of lawyer

... Xiao Zhiqing is?

Yeah sure

I'll call a cab for you

And I'll tell the address to the driver

All right

Thanks

It's upstairs

Hi, I'm Yoshida

I'm Zhang Bin

Mr. Xiao's cousin Cai Jinyan is my aunt

She lives in Hong Kong

Mr. Zhang, we've received a letter from Miss Cai

We've been expecting you. Please come in

Mr. Xiao has passed away for a week now

The hit and run suspect is still at large

He got run down by a motorcycle?

Yes. Have a seat

The body of Mr. Xiao ...

was found in his neighborhood

His head was badly crashed

He died a terrible death

My aunt sent me here to ask about his will

Mr. Xiao had a savings account

And he bought his own house

Anything else?

No, but his major business ...

was to manage Mr. Lin's property

He's done a lot for Mr. Lin

I heard from him that ...

Mr. Lin has promised him

... a share of his inheritance

Say, if you go talk to Mr. Lin ...

you might get a relief fund

Got it

Could you take me ...

to where he lives now?

Yes, sure

What is my father like?

Is he very strict?

I'm nervous, my heart beats very fast

Same here

There are five lakes at the bottom of Mount Fuji

Mr. Lin's villa is next to the prettiest of the five,

Lake Shojiko

Then we're heading to Mount Fuji

... are we?

That's right

Mount Fuji

It's gorgeous

So big

How big?

So beautiful

How big?

This big

Really?

God !

What took you so long?

Peter, let me introduce you

Miss Situ, Miss Peng

Miss Li and Mr. Huang

This is your cousin Peter Zhao

He's Mr. Lin's nephew

Hi

Three pretty girls, come on, follow me

Here we are

Look at the clock tower

It's huge

It's so quiet, it's scary

Please come

Take the luggage in

Let me show you around

What's this for?

Elevator for my uncle

Uncle, the three princesses are here

Mr. Lin depends on his wheelchair to get around

The elevator is for his use

He could just live on the ground floor

There are lots of people on the ground floor

Mr. Lin doesn't like noises

You are finally here

I've been looking forward to seeing you

Tell me your names, girls!

Yes ...

Don't be shy

Tell me, is your mom Xiulan

... or Xiaoping?

My mom is Xiaoping, I'm Peifang

You look exactly like Xiaoping

Is she well?

She has a heart condition

She keeps to her bed most of the time

That's unfortunate, I'll send her money for treatment

Thanks

And you are?

Jingxian

You resemble Xiulan, she was very weak

I heard she's passed away

Ten years ago

I'm all alone

Poor child !

What's wrong with your eyes?

I've been blind since five

I am completely blind

That's a unfortunate

I should have sent for you earlier

Dad

Worry no more

You must be Sally's daughter, right ?

Yes ...

And this is Rongrong's husband?

No, we just got engaged. I'm Huang Yiqiang

Great

I came here to Japan when I was young

And I've left all of your mothers behind

I turned sick when I've achieved my goals

Then I couldn't walk anymore

You three came to my mind

And I felt very sorry about your mothers

From now on ...

I'll take good care of you three

And try to make it up to you

Daddy

Daddy

Daddy

Daddy

I don't want your money, dad

I just want to be around you forever

I will be your legs

Don't cry, my children

Please

Who is it?

Miss Zeng

What is it?

This is Mr. Zhang Bin from Hong Kong

He's a relative of Mr. Xiao

I'm Mr. Xiao's wife, Danni

Mr. Zhang, I'll take your leave. Your keys

Thanks

Bye ...

Come in

When did you arrive?

This afternoon

I've just moved here

Sorry about the mess

Don't worry

Have a seat

Mr. Zhang, we should have a good chat

A welcome drink

Mr. Xiao was my distant relative

I've never met him

I came here on behalf of my aunt

What other property does Mr. Xiao own?

Some savings

Come

Let's drink

This is my home now

No, it's Mr. Xiao's

We need to talk

Mr. Zhang, you are very attractive

Let's talk business

But I'm a woman

I need a man's help

If you would help ...

we could make a lot of money

Why?

Because I believe Zhiqing was murdered

The body was disfigured

They identified him by his clothing

That wasn't an accident

I'm sure he was murdered

Why didn't you talk to the police then?

I have my reasons

If the police arrests the murderer ...

then we wouldn't be able to make the money

You know who the murderer is ?

Have a drink

I'll tell you if you would help

Let's go to the living room

Let me push you, daddy

This is Mr. Lin's will

What's wrong?

What's going on?

A monster? Where?

What monster?

The monster was just outside the window

So scary

Hurry ... clean this up

Make a new pot of tea

Sorry, the previous maids have left

The chef and her have just started yesterday

She is new to this place

Peter Zhao?

That's right

He's up to no good, a real hooligan

I heard he argues with Mr. Lin a lot

If he's the murderer, what proof have you got?

I saw with my own eyes

He came here to blackmail Zhiqing

Why did you send out his letters?

I'm entitled to everything

Your uncle wrote all three letters

He's the boss

What's in his will?

His three daughters will share his inheritance

What about me?

How would I know?

I only know that ...

Your uncle won't give you a dime

Damn it! I must try to ...

intercept the letters

We must draw up another will

Otherwise ...

I will kill you and my uncle

I remembered Peter's face, he was scary

He must be the murderer

I think he killed Zhiqing

Read it out loud, Yinghui

I, Lin Zongyuan, 60 years old

Native of Panyu, Guangdong province

I'm the President of Lin Enterprise

witnessed by lawyer Mr. Xiao Zhiqing of Tokyo

The contents:

This will is legal

No one can oppose to it

After my death ...

Peter Zhao will be the sole heir to my inheritance

As for my three daughters who live in Hong Kong

Situ Peifang, Peng Jingxian, Li Rongrong

Their pre-marriage expenses will be borne by Peter

Enclosed is a list of all my properties

Signature of Mr. Lin

And signature of witness Mr. Xiao

What about us?

Then we've got nothing

Unbelievable!

We came all the way from Hong Kong

Being taken care of ...

is like having a share to the inheritance

And if any of you marry me ...

we can share the inheritance

You didn't come here for nothing

Damn it! It's not funny

It's only natural that you're angry

When I wrote to you ...

I wanted you to have a share

Then after I sent out the letters

I was worried that some fake ones will come here

to claim from me. That's why I decided to change

... the will and pass everything to a man

That's why I changed my mind

I left everything to Peter

I've been thinking about it for a while

Dad, we are your daughters

Why are you giving everything to your nephew?

But I haven't made up my final decision yet

Before I die no one is ...

entitled to anything. I still have complete control

But uncle, you promised me ...

that you'll pass on everything to me

You talked me into it

I agreed because I was confused

But you're still so young

And you've been acting so wild

We'll talk when you've improved

Fine, you lied to me

Yinghui, are you in this too ?

I only did this according to Mr. Lin's will

Asshole!

Listen! I won't fall in your trap

I'm the rightful heir to entire Lin inheritance

No one else gets anything

Mr. Zhang, let's be partners

We could make a lot of money

Good bye

Must you go?

Sorry

I'm here to attend a medical conference

I don't want to be in the middle of a dispute

Go to the doctor when you're sick

When there's a murder one should approach the police

Goodbye

Peter could kill again

Exactly

His goal is to get all the money

Say, if his uncle were to split his inheritance...

among his three daughters ...

Peter won't just sit there

He'd either kill his uncle or the daughters

I doubt it

The clock sounds scary

Yes

What do you think of Peter?

I hate him, he's nasty

He seems to like you

If you marry him ...

then you'll have all the money

I won't marry him even for the money

Me neither

I don't care about the inheritance

I'm just glad that I've met you and dad

Same here

Give me your hand please

It's great, I'm not alone anymore

Don't be silly

I thought we could receive a large inheritance

And now all we have is petty cash

It's ridiculous

Let's get out of this place

... and return to Hong Kong

We came all the way here

We can't leave empty handed

Let's work on Peter

What about me?

The same as before

For money you won't get jealous, would you ?

His bedroom's downstairs

Don't forget me

A ghost ...

Help

Peifang

Help

What is it?

Ghost ...

Ghost ...

Where?

Where?

Over there

The maid saw a ghost earlier

Another one now?

Where do all the ghosts come from?

No

All right ...

Go to sleep, go on ...

I really saw it

Let's go

I really did, it's so scary

The face ...

It's awful

Why don't you believe me?

I do ...

It's all right, see you tomorrow

See you tomorrow

What's the matter with you?

Peifang, is someone outside the window?

No

I felt that someone's staring at us from outside

Don't say that again

I'm scared

Peter, don't overdo it

We must try to get rid of the girls

I thought you wished to keep Peifang here

What are you talking ?

What was the will all about earlier?

It's completely different from what we agreed

I have no idea

Maybe you got carried away

He said so to express his contempt

It will be legal when he's dead

What do you want to do?

You or my uncle

I'll take care of those who are in my way

Miss Situ, let's go to row a boat

Sorry?

Peifang, let's go out

I don't want to

Morning

Morning

Where's my father?

He's upstairs

He eats in his room

He hardly comes down here

Peter

Let's go for a spin

My car's broken

Jingxian, let's go for a stroll

I don't want to be a drag

You go out on your own

What are you knitting?

A blanket for dad's legs

You are very filial

Yinghui

Don't even think about it with Peifang

Don't forget she's mine

Damn it! Don't be so sure

He's gone after Peifang

Where's Rongrong?

She was just here

But she's gone

Looking for Rongrong? She left at the back

She could be on a date with Peter

What?

Peter, stop it

Stop it

Peter, stop it

Stop

So? Having fun?

You're unbelievable

Again

Stop it

Don't be afraid, I'll help you

Let go of me

Stop

Let go of me

Marry me, Peifang

Why?

Why not?

If you don't marry me ...

you won't get a dime

I don't want the money

What do you want to do?

You aren't going anywhere

Don't come near me

Come on ...

What do you want to do?

I'll throw you into the waterfall

... if you won't listen

Peter

Are you trying to kill her?

Do you want my help?

Mind your own business

Peifang ...

Peter, you should know what I want

We understand each other

Come on, let's have a good chat

Sure

Is that you, Peifang?

What is it?

You have a guest

Mr. Zhang

I'm here to see you

I'd like to talk to your father

You want to talk to my father?

Mr. Lin's here

Great

Morning, dad

This is Mr. Zhang

You're Mr. Xiao's relative?

Yes, Mr. Xiao's cousin

Cai Jinyan is my aunt

She told me to come here to sort out his business

Mr. Xiao was a great help

His sudden death is our loss

Could the ladies go upstairs first ?

We'll go upstairs

Bye

See you

How do you know Peifang?

We were on the same flight

I see

Come on

Come in

You're great

You're sexy

Mr. Xiao was very helpful

I will give 50,000 dollars to Mdm. Cai...

as a token of appreciation for Mr. Xiao's work

I thank you on her behalf

Mr. Lin

I've heard something strange

What about ?

I heard that Mr. Xiao's death wasn't an accident

He was murdered

Murdered?

Says who?

Mr. Xiao's mistress Danni Zeng

She said Mr. Xiao died terribly

It couldn't be an accident

I had my doubts before

Let's go to the police again

Thanks

No problem

Goodbye

Peter stands to get everything

What should I do ?

Your father told you three to come here

And you get nothing

What do you mean?

Perhaps he was worried about imposters

No, I think that Peter's blackmailing your father

That's possible too... they always squabble

Jingxian said there's a ghost

The place is haunted

Haunted? Are you sure?

Yes

I think something's definitely there

I just want to return to Hong Kong soon

Since your father has written a will ...

Peter might kill him for that

As long as your father lives ...

Peter won't get anything

He'd also be worried that the will could be changed

In his position ...

I think he'd wish your father would die soon

So scary

I'll stay here tonight

I'm concerned about your safety

What about your conference?

It will start next week

Call me if anything happens

The phone number's there, 1428

Be careful

Thanks, bye

Bye

Mr. Zhang, why do you care about me so much?

Because I like you

I came here for you

Getting the relief for Mr. Xiao is not my priority

We'll go back to Hong Kong together

Even if my father gives me everything

I'll go back to Hong Kong with you

Where did you go?

For a stroll

A stroll? With who?

Alone

Liar, you're with Peter

I saw you

You two were inside a cave

That's my freedom

Bitch, it's not that easy to dump me!

Damn!

You hit me?

You are shameless

Miss Situ, you were gone for a long time

Where's the doctor?

He stays at the lakeside inn

You won't strike rich with him

I don't want any money

Really?

Then what are you doing here?

Let me tell you

Don't listen to Peter

Your father won't give him a dime

I've a much better chance

Get out

Bitch

Damn it! Get out

You're nothing but my burden

Great, I'll tell them about our lives in Hong Kong

That won't do you any good

How dare you?

Think it over, you owe it all to me

Owe it to you?

What's going on?

A bloody whore, that's what you are

Rotten whore !

So what?

Who do you think you are?

None of your business

Get out!

Peter

Hold it, Peter. Get over here

Get over here if you've got guts

Listen well, I'm not to be bullied around

I'll kill you

Peifang, someone's outside our door

I wonder who?

Peifang

Help...

Help...

What's going on?

What ...

The back door ...

Who?

There's no monster

No? I saw it

I believe

Right, I saw it

Don't be such a fuss, go back to sleep ...

What's all the noise about?

What happened ?

Dad, I saw a monster

A monster?

Now you'll believe ...

that this place is haunted

I saw one yesterday

People are scrambling for power and profit

They all have their own sinister agenda

And they thought they saw ghosts

There aren't any monsters in this world

Not a monster, it's a ghost

I don't want to stay in a haunted place

The ghost was standing right there

It's true!

His nose is flattened, so scary

It's creepy just thinking about it

I quit

Same here

So scary

Wait

Peter, Jingxian is blind

There's no use to scare her

And you've scared Peifang, the one you like

That wasn't me

I was sleeping

Not you? Who could that be then?

Could that be him?

Our Chinese cook

Mr. Yang, he speaks Chinese

Hello

Have a seat

You're from Hong Kong?

Yes

I arrived yesterday

I'd like to ask about ...

Mr. Lin who lives on the villa up the hill

What kind of a man is he?

A very rich man

But he hasn't shown his face since he got ill

No one knows him around here

What's his nephew Peter like?

A hooligan

Drives around in his sports car

Hassling girls everywhere

Who else is there?

The servants keep changing

There's a tall man, a mute

who was waiting on Mr. Lin

A tall mute?

Sorry

Hello, Peifang

I'm scared, I saw a monster last night

A monster?

Yes, very scary

His face is non human

Jingxian wants to head back to Hong Kong

I want to go with her

Can you pick us up?

Sure, right away

Let me ask you

Is there a tall mute in this villa?

A tall mute? No

Since we've got here

I haven't seen such person

I'll wait for you, bye

I've asked around

There's no tall mute there

Maybe he's left

The servants never work for too long

Peifang, what do you think?

Very nice, dad will love it

I feel sorry for leaving him so soon

But staying in this haunted house;

I just can't do it

Let's go say our goodbyes

Sure

Who is it?

Peifang and Jingxian

We want to talk to you

I'm coming

Come in

This is my world

What's the room like?

Lots of clocks and antiques

Although I keep myself here

But I haven't been lazy

I keep contacts with the Tokyo office over the phones

My hobby is ...

admiring the sounds of the clocks alone

I can't help it, people change

Only this clock stays the same

It's my best companion

Always loyal to me

Dad, Jingxian has knitted this

... for your legs

You made this?

Yes

I've been knitting day & night

It's a farewell gift

A farewell gift?

Yes, we want to go back to Hong Kong

It's... too quiet and out of the way here

I'm sorry

I invited you over for your share;

And I've disappointed you

Because of the sudden death of Mr. Xiao my lawyer

I've been busy working

I didn't have much time to spend with you

If only I could live with my daughters

And enjoy a happy family life

That's my biggest desire

But we don't want to share the money with Peter

We only want to go back to Hong Kong

Please don't

No one has ever done such a nice thing for me

A present from the heart

Please don't leave me

I'll give you everything

Dad, you ...

Stay here and live with me

Daddy...

You burnt the will ?

We need to talk

You two get out !

Mr. He ...

Mr. He ...

Mr. He ...

Oh no!

Peter's making a scene in my dad's room

Hurry

Nothing for me?

Peter, you shouldn't treat your uncle like this

What uncle? I'm the legal heir

Shut up

Shut up

Peter

Mr. Zhang, you've come in a good time

What's going on?

Peter's making a scene in my dad's room

Mr. He has gone upstairs

If they find out our secret ...

and spread it ;

Do you know what will happen?

Don't try to threaten me

No one will listen to you

No? You want to try?

I'm not afraid of you

Alright, calm down

Let's go downstairs, come on ...

What do you want ?

Peter

What do you want ?

Peter, come on

I meant it

Go on

That was quite a fight

So you are using the secret

... to blackmail my dad ?

Blackmail ?

You heard everything

Peter was just bluffing

Let's hope so

If we could work together

... I'm open to discussions

Treat me nicer, you won't regret it

Let's go

Have you seen Rongrong?

Why are you still here?

Rongrong and Peter have left at the back

Damn it

Mr. Zhang, you are visiting?

Yes, again

Always welcome

Is everything alright?

Don't worry, they fight a lot

I worry about Yiqiang and Peter

They are young and rash

It will be a problem when they get out of control

Freeze

Are you abducting my woman?

I'm not your woman anymore

Mind your own business

You better return to Hong Kong

Damn it! I'll kill you

Stand still

Don't run

Bitch

I won't do it

I won't

Shameless

Peifang said she saw a monster

Maybe Peter wants to get rid of them

That's why he made the whole thing up

It's possible

Let me be frank

Peter has been threatening Mr. Lin

We suspected that

Our company has a bit of a tax issue lately

I think Peter has found out

If he won't get the inheritance ...

I'm afraid he'll go turn us in

That's why the will has been changed

Mr. He, I heard from the villagers

... that Mr. Lin has a mute servant

Is that so?

Old Zhao?

He's been gone for over 2 weeks

I haven't seen him

He's missing ?

Zhao made some mistakes

... and got told off by Mr. Lin

He left in anger

He is an illegal immigrant

We took him in

That's why we haven't reported to the police

Is that so?

I've promised the girls to eat with them

I'll take them out for dinner

Bye

Bye

Yinghui

What now? Rongrong knows our secret

You're responsible, you told her everything

I'm responsible?

I thought you hate my uncle too

I thought you too are against ...

him giving inheritance to his daughters

Are you with me or against ?

Think whatever you want

I have one condition

I want half of everything

Otherwise there's no deal

You've got some nerve !

If your father leaves you the money ...

What do you plan to do?

I'll open a nursery

Beds, toys, books ... everything

Doctors, nurses

I'm happiest ...

when I'm with the kids. How about you, Peifang?

Me? Let me think

Maybe I'll ask my mom to move here to Japan

But ...

If someone I like asks me to return to Hong Kong

... then I'll go along

Are you alright ?

Yes

What a romantic moment

Why would I want to interfere !

Be careful

You're back

Where are they?

Miss Rongrong has gone out early

She hasn't been back yet

Everyone's looking for her

What's going on?

Don't worry about her

Just worry about yourself

It's early, let's go for a walk

Enjoy yourselves

You're naughty

Can I borrow your sister for a moment?

Please

Let me help you

No, thanks

Who is it?

You are the mute?

What are you trying to tell me?

What do you want to tell me?

What is it?

Rongrong ...

Is she back?

No, she isn't back yet

Damn it, where could she be?

Rongrong ...

Stand still

Who are you?

Have you heard me?

Monster

Freeze

Don't run

Monster

Stand still

Come back, don't go

Come back

What is it?

The monster's headed that way

Monster

Don't run

Stand still

What's going on?

Rongrong ...

This knife

It's yours, you killed her!

No, I didn't

Mr. Huang, the officer ...

asked you whether that knife is yours?

He was going to kill me too with that

I didn't kill Rongrong

I heard him yelling that "I must kill you!"

I must get rid of you!

But I didn't mean it

Did anyone see him ...

beating Rongrong by the waterfall?

Yes I did

No, I didn't

And you?

And you?

What about you?

Yes

Me too

No, I didn't

Anyone else ...

has heard him saying that ?

That leaves Huang Yiqiang as our prime suspect

Take him along to the station

No, I didn't

Get him

I didn't

Go

I am no murderer

Mr. Zhao, Mr. He

The officer asked ...

you both to go to the station, too

I don't want to

Better go

Or they'll come and get you

What's to be afraid of?

We didn't do it

I hate police stations

Sorry, we are quitting

I'm leaving too, I'm scared to work here

Let me drive you to town

I need to go to the police station

Bye

We're the only ones here

I'm scared

Daddy's here

Mr. Lin

Peifang

The police has taken Liqiang?

Poor Rongrong

It's awful

I heard from Mr. He that ...

Peter's threatening to spill your business secrets

For every company ...

There are some issues to be dealt with

It really isn't a big deal

But Peter threatens me

It's difficult for me to get around, and at my age

... I can do nothing but to listen to him

But since you're here, I'm not scared of him anymore

Just bear with me

My whole inheritance

... will be yours

Let me get it

Hello... yes, this is the Lin family

We'll send someone right away, thanks

It's the hospital

They've finished the autopsy

We can go claim Rongrong's body

No one's here

Let me go

I'll get a cab by the lake

And I'll arrange for the cremation

Please arrange a good ceremony

Take the money

I'll keep this for now

Are you coming with me?

I'm a bit scared, but I'll walk you out

It's getting foggy, go home

Come back soon

Sure

Be careful

Bye

Oh no, I can't see the road

Come ...

Peter, no. Let go of me

Help

Help! Stop it

No, Peter

Do you mean you won't hurt me?

Can you give me some water?

I'm thirsty

Let us forget about the bad things

Cheers

Come on

Who is it ?

Hello

Can I help you?

Is Mr. Lin Zongyuan home?

I want to see him

Hold on please

Mr. Lin won't see any guests today

I must talk to him

You ...

It's you

So you're here too

The reason I'm here today ...

is to talk about Zhiqing's relief fund

Which one is Mr. Lin?

This is Miss Danni Zeng

She's Mr. Xiao's girlfriend

Miss Zeng

You must be Mr. Lin

I've heard a lot about you

You seem like a reasonable man

I might as well have dinner here

... and we can have a chat

That's so rude

We've settled Mr. Xiao's relief already

We'll give him HKD$50,000

50,000?

Miss Zeng came all the way ...

and she happens to be Mr. Xiao's girlfriend

I'll try whatever I can to help

How much do you seek ?

A million... that's not a lot to ask, is it?

A million?

Actually that's not enough

How about ...

five million?

Mr. Lin, you can't turn me down

I'll stay here tonight

We'll discuss it later

It's ridiculous

Yinghui, let her stay in Rongrong's room

We've a lot to discuss

Peifang ...

What is it?

Listen, someone's outside

The monster

No, that's not it

You think that might be Peter?

No, not Mr. He or Mr. Zhang

I haven't heard these footsteps before

So strange

Murder

Help!

Stand still

Murder ...

Freeze

Help

Mr. Lin

Are you alright, Mr. Lin?

Daddy

A masked man broke in

He left from the stairs

Who could that be?

He tried to kill Danni, I saw him

Really?

I saw a shadow running into the woods

Could be Peter

No, Jingxian knows

She could tell by the footsteps

Are you alright, Mr. Lin?

I'm fine. How is Ms. Zeng?

I'll check on her

Sure

Daddy

Are you alright?

He almost killed me

What a cold blooded man

Don't blame me for doing this

I won't wait here to die, I'm off

Wait ...

Do you know that man?

I could tell you later if you really want to know

Treatment for heart diseases ...

is no longer something out of reach

These days

With good diagnosis

During operations

Everything could be monitored closely

Also with the advanced heart transplant technology

The chance of curing heart diseases

... has gone much higher

Peifang, someone's here

Where's your doctor friend ?

He's at a conference

No one's here with you?

Where's Yinghui?

I thought he's gone looking for you

Let me tell you

You're the reason for everything

Go back to Hong Kong

I'll deal with the old man tomorrow night

If you three are still here ...

I'll kill you all, get it ?

Peter, wait

Peter

I don't want the money

We're not lying, Peter

You have been deceived

You won't get a dime here

You better head back to Hong Kong soon

Peter...

What should we do, Peifang?

Who was that ?

Peter, he said he'll be back tomorrow night

He said that if we won't leave ...

he'll kill us all; what shall we do ?

He wouldn't dare, don't worry

Mr. He and Mr. Zhang are back

If Peter really comes here tonight

... you can catch him,

and send him to the police station

Don't be afraid

It's you, come in

This is your hush money

Don't want it, it's too little

You're playing with fire

Watch out that you might be burnt

He wouldn't dare to kill me

What secret do you want her to keep? Speak up

Please, spare me

Spare me

Who killed her ?

Did you call the police ?

I don't know

She's murdered

I'll report to HQ

Strangled to death ... where's your tie?

Is this yours ?

No

Freeze

Freeze

Freeze

Who is it ?

It's me

What's going on?

Where's Yinghui?

He wasn't here last night

He's with Peter

They killed Danni

And now I'm the murder suspect

Peter said he'll kill daddy tonight

Let's go to the police

No, there's something that ...

your dad wants to keep away from the police

I am on the run now

There must be some dark secrets in this family

If we want to find out ...

Zhao is our answer; you thought he's a monster

You said that you saw him in a cave

Let's go

Lock up the door, don't come out

Come back soon

Here

Inside this cave

Be careful

Zhao ...

Zhao ...

Zhao ...

Zhao, sorry about the other day

Thank you for saving me

My daughters will share my inheritance

Situ Peifang, Peng Jingxian, Li Rongrong

Each has an equal share

This must be the first draft of the will

What does it mean?

These three are trying to kill this man

Peter Zhao, He Yinghui

Who's the third one?

Could be Xiao Zhiqing?

I'm right

The trio

... they wanted to kill someone else

What is he trying to say?

What happened to your face?

On the suspension bridge

The trio threw him down

The face got cut by the rocks

What?

Fell on a branch

It's He Yinghui

Zhao

He's dead

Who is it ?

Mr. Zhang wants to talk to you

I'll get the door

Come in

Mr. Lin, I saw Zhao

Zhao? Where?

Inside this cave, Yinghui killed him

Yinghui killed Zhao ?

Zhao's face was scarred when he got thrown off...

from the suspension bridge by Peter and Yinghui

He's the 'monster' everyone thought earlier

Look at this

This is the will I told Mr. Xiao to draft

I think Peter stole it

Zhao has worked for me for a long time

He must be worried, Peter would threaten me

... with this will. That's why he took it

He was badly injured

Why didn't he go to the police?

Must be afraid of them ...

since Zhao's an illegal immigrant

Everything is clear now

Yinghui works with Peter

Zhiqing was in it too

Xiao was killed because they had a fight

I can't believe that He Yinghui would betray me

Such an ungrateful person !

I gave him everything he's got

We can't stay here anymore

If those two go berserk ...

they're likely to come here for us

Let's go to the police

Please

Right away

Be careful

Be careful, you two

Lock all the doors and windows

Keep the doors shut

Then move the sofas and tables to block it

Can you do it ?

Yes

I'm off then

You be careful too

Be careful

Peifang

It's eight... why isn't Mr. Zhang back yet ?

Could he be in trouble?

Daddy's here

Daddy, Mr. Zhang isn't back yet

What should we do?

He isn't back yet?

Peter and Yinghui will be here soon

I'll use this to fight them

You can't walk, daddy

How can you fend them off ?

If they get arrested by the police

... will you then stay here ?

No, I don't want to stay here anymore

Let's go back to Hong Kong

I've done well in my business, but I'm lonely

... for I have no family around me

Please don't go back to Hong Kong

Stay here with me

It's over. He Yinghui is here

You are finally here

I'm here to claim my share

Mr. He, we don't want the money

Daddy, please give the money to Peter and Yinghui

Not for Peter

Peter has a share

Earlier he did, not now

Please stop this

Peter said he'll come here tonight

You two can discuss with dad

Peter came here

Take a look under the sofa seats

Go ahead

What is it, Peifang ?

Peter's dead, he's inside the sofa

Your dad and I killed him

My dad !

Peter Zhao wanted all my inheritance

If we tie him to a rock and throw him in the lake

... I guess no one will find out

How could you say that, daddy?

I've always listened to Mr. Lin's orders

Mr. Lin, I want Peifang

Let me tell you

Your boyfriend, Mr. Zhang won't come back

Earlier on the road

I ran his car down the valley

Let me explain to you

Mr. Lin planned to sell his business

And he intended his 3 daughters to split the fortune

He went to his lawyer Mr. Xiao to set up a will

But after he's sold his properties ...

There's no place for us

Mr. Xiao thought the same

We've been helping your father all these years

He owed it to us

... for all his success

I thought he'll give me some of his property

Yet he wouldn't

That's why Peter and I planned to kill him

What? Daddy?

How come you can stand up?

And you can walk?

We'll throw his body and Peter into the lake

This is the person I heard that night

The one who tried to kill Danni

That's right, I could walk all along

Now, the entire Lin estate belongs to me

I really own everything here

I should be specific; Lin Zongyuan's fortune

... belongs to me Xiao Zhiqing now

What ...

Look at this face

For the first time

I'm Xiao Zhiqing, the one you thought

... who was killed in a car accident

Because the face was badly injured ...

the body couldn't be identified

That was actually your father Lin Zongyuan

He's dead ?!

I knew Peter's angry with his uncle. And then ...

I teamed up with him & Yinghui to kill your father

After that made it to look like a car accident

But your father wrote to you

I had to pretend to be him to deal with you

I wanted to scare all of you away

Our plan was going so smoothly

Except for the servant who saw us killing your Dad

Zhao the mute, he didn't die from the fall

The second reason of our failed plan ...

was that Peter wanted to take everything on his own

He was against us all the time

I had to team up with Yinghui

Then you came, so pretty and young ;

This complicated the situation

Zhang and Danni wanted to investigate 'my' death

I had to take them out

I asked Yinghui to kill Rongrong

Then Zhao and Zhang Bin

I killed my mistress Danni too

And I killed Peter with Yinghui

Later I got rid of Yinghui as well

Zhao the mute isn't the real ghost

I'm the ghost

Now that I've succeeded

I own everything now

I want both of you to be my wives

Peifang

I've told you all the doors and windows are locked

You can't run anywhere

Try if you don't believe me

You ...

Hurry

Peifang

Let me take care of all of you one by one

Peifang ...

Let me go

Let go of me

Look

Peifang

Peifang

I'm not afraid of you, I've got a gun

Sorry, Mr. Zhang

You asked for this

I'll kill all three of you

Turn off the lights, Peifang

I've got a plan

I can kill you in the dark

Peifang ...

Let's go to Tokyo first

I'll find a lawyer for you two

... to take care of the inheritance

Shall we?

Great

And you?

Sure, thanks

After it's done, we'll all go back to Hong Kong
