It's heading toward the plateau.

Those are "Sparklewings" you're seeing.

Each year, they migrate to the Lake of Light

above the Great Valley.

According to the ancient texts, once they get to the lake,

something truly wonderful happens.

We better get moving. We still have a long way to go.

The fields will have to wait a while.

Cheer, I found out something about the Sparklewing migration.

Before sunrise, they gather at the Lake of Light.

When all of them have arrived, a magical transformation

happens. They become some sort of new life-form.

They fill the lake with life-giving energy.

It flows from the lake, off the plateau,

and into the river that nourishes the fields.

So the fields aren't blooming because the water

isn't getting the energy.

And the energy isn't there because all the Sparklewings

aren't together. One of them is missing.

That's why you're weak. Everything is connected.

You're part of the cycle. And now the cycle is broken.

I helped break it.

We have to get him to that lake before sunrise.

Whoah.

Oh, Cloudseeker's too big for this part of the journey.

We'll have to take the scooters.

Hurry, not long 'til sunrise!

We have to say good-bye, now.

SHARE: He doesn't want to leave you.

This is just how it has to be.
