no strings attached

I just want you

[Music]

[Music]

[Music]

[Music]

what do you think I think I went into

the wrong branch of the government a lot

of off-roaders in this area got to think

your guide have been found if you come

this way got a suggestion that's less

traveled over towards China Mountain

maybe we gotta search the most remote

area first figuring somebody else will

pick him up if he's headed in a better

direction maybe you should have joined

another branch of government exactly is

your guy just a truck driver no other

truck driver ever got this much

attention without lost out here yeah

well we're trying to improve our service

[Music]

[Music]

let's go no Katie are you sure well I

guess just shut up a second Cheri okay

just let me think

Oh got the time that's gonna take lookey

chair gotten far he doesn't have to get

far Carl alright he just has to stay

alive long enough for somebody to find

him so we'll find him first

good curl I should have left you out

here with him and God knows I would have

shot you first hey sherry I'm a thief

right leaving a man to die is one thing

putting a bullet between his eyes is

something entirely different great an

accomplice with morals what do you I put

that away babe that's my girl

shut up

[Applause]

[Music]

[Music]

what you first you first now you said

your news was bigger that's why you go

first all right what you got a new

wallet

came with this inside

I'm an inspector not just inspector top

scorers in the whole department Plus

recommendations from two different

captains I get it choose my assignment

that's great

what did you choose you know what I

chose major crimes

yeah well I don't look so enthused I'm

sorry I know this is exactly what you

wanted maybe this is the big leap for

both of us

now tell me your news inspector Cates is

gonna be a daddy what's the matter I

thought this was what you wanted

well we've wanted that's what I meant

I'm scared Michael you just got a very

dangerous job Mary Ann this should be a

celebration for both of us you have to

make me a promise anything

promise me our baby won't grow up

without a father that won't happen

promise Ivan promise

[Music]

huh sorry

[Music]

a tribe Maryanne

try

[Music]

that's from the truck he was here him or

the hijackers you working with me

against me here well I just don't want

you to get false hopes up no don't worry

about me worry about finding Bowman

what are you doing well tell me relaxing

relaxing yeah there's nothing wrong with

that no no no not a thing unless of

course you had on the mas class schedule

no I didn't you did I wasn't a stakeout

it wouldn't late honey I am I know

there's always a reason and it's usually

because you're a good cop come on

Marianne do other cops have kids of

course they do and are they good fathers

I suppose so

then what the hell happened to you

Marianne it won't happen again no no

you're right it won't because tonight

was the last class I guess when the time

comes this baby and I are on our own

[Applause]

[Music]

what have you got nothing to report

nothing all right we found the place

where he was dumped one of the crates

from his load was out there tomorrow

will recalibrate coordinating from that

center no offense

agent Baxter but we're not authorized to

continue

what these local agencies are

underfunded

they've got live people to take care of

chance Bowman is not dead honestly ma'am

in this country the odds are I don't

care about the odds we resume at first

light now I'll take you to the

NewsCenter

I'll check in with my captain I do that

I'll check him at night

[Music]

so you screwed up huh welcome to the

human race yeah

Rebecca married for a long time

how'd you manage it simple I just made

sure that every day she knew she was the

queen of the world anything she wanted

that was in my power to do she could

have yeah right

well you asked Berta nice try you work

more hours than anyone I've ever met so

there's no way you can make good on the

promise that's not true because Rebekah

promised the same thing to me every day

she treated me like a king my wish was

her command you know people think that

marriage is a big mystery you just have

to give up absolutely everything that

means anything to you

is that all well you know if people

don't understand is once you do that

your partner will turn around and give

all of those things back

she wants to know that she comes first

[Music]

[Applause]

it's Klaus he's gotta be he's got to be

real close you're never gonna find you

you don't wanna find you I can make this

so much easier on you no need for you to

go through breathe breathe

natural childbirth is a wonderful thing

but if the birth is complicated we

really do recommend medical intervention

I'm having my baby at home you sure you

want to do this yes we're staying

where's Danny where did that come from I

figured you'd be scared to death I am if

you think we should move to the hospital

I'm gonna start the pitocin to induce

labor why don't you take a lap around

the house it'll be your last chance to

get a little fresh air before the final

stages okay sure

I know you're out there

I know we don't talk much

just let them be okay and I'll do

anything you ask anything who's out

there

where do you think you're brave you got

an answer you go ahead use the

conventional traveler makes you feel

better but you don't really question

whether I am the master of your universe

now you bet I do what do you want proof

burning bush water into wine I've seen

the truth I'll tell you one thing no

matter what name you give me I am the

one responsible for taking Marianne and

Stacy away from you

why can't I move because if you could

he'll kill me you know every time you

humans lose a loved one a preacher to

start to preach about how my waves are

so dark and mysterious really yeah you

wonder why oh well so do i but nobody

wants to live forever

trust me tell you what I'm gonna do as a

gesture of good faith and to prove to

you how wrong you are are me I'm gonna

give you the chance to ask me one

question

face to face

why did you take my wife and daughter

Hey

you said I could ask you a question I

didn't say I'd answer it

you know we should really get the hell

out of here I think he's dead

okay and if they found him we'd have

heard about it by now but we do look at

it this way if he's if he's dead we're

fine if he's alive and he's talking then

we need to be as far away from here as

we can possibly get all right God you

are such a baby oh just shut up Cheri

you left out the most likely scenario

genius that he's still alive and just

hasn't talked yet oh my

okay look look we need to get the hell

out of here okay why we're just out here

having a good time right

good morning morning morning we're

looking for this man he's been lost out

here for 72 hours Wow good-looking boy

we haven't seen anybody I mean that's

why we come out here is you know to get

away from the crowds

yeah right I understand but we have a

full search going for him out here so

you may see helicopters other vehicles

but if you spot him or run across him

he's gonna need medical attention and

water oh sure absolutely believe me

we'll be happy to take care of him

thank you very much

[Music]

[Music]

[Music]

do you really want to know Iran do you

really want to know the reason you're

still alive

take it easy you've been leading me

along put on the cuffs

I'm helping you look those people back

there you knew them I've seen them

around the cups now who are you the

spotter no what do you talk to the

drivers find out what they're hauling

phone it up to your partners you stop

this I'm a two-bit civil servant I

didn't sign on for this what are their

names

Carl and Cheri Beltran this mean I'm

dead no

like I died is that what you want I want

to be with you Stacy

is she here it's not your time yet

Michael well it wasn't your time

it wasn't Stacy's yes it was no I wasn't

was called her it was my testimony it

wasn't you you did not kill us Michael

you are not responsible for our deaths

the hell I wasn't fellas you making

yourself miserable right here trying to

shoulder a burden that wasn't yours to

carry you remember the time Stacy snuck

out of bed and caught that TV piece on

the miracle of birth you swept her up

and you tucked her in and she kept

asking you all those questions you

remember what you said go back to sleep

you kissed her on her forehead like you

always did and then said I'll tell you

when you're older so what you're gonna

tell me when I'm older you're gonna

explain to me why my life is turning to

some meaningless you not meaningless

what you meant for Stacy was that a time

would come when she would have the

perspective to understand certain ways

the world works I'm telling you the same

is true for you and when the time comes

for you to know the why of all these

things you will that's a promise Michael

how do I get there from here and that

big beautiful blue truck I am so envious

of the woman who gets to ride beside you

in that journey what woman the one you

choose I chose you forever no you didn't

I made a vow till death do us part

or parted your free chance and you're

alive my name is Michael call me Michael

it's chance now isn't it I like it it's

time for you to hide now

all right they're coming for you you

know

[Music]

we just hand comes right here he was

right here he was moving not very fast

I'll bet you take it

hello remember us got some water here

not a whole case of it

[Music]

you can drink it well you can take a

bath in it come on now let's put you

down the humane way like we should have

in the first place

[Music]

[Applause]

[Music]

quiet

I got your man you're right

[Music]

get up

[Music]

chants thank you

[Music]

[Music]

paramedics can't believe he's still

alive be that Ranger training

say again Burton I can't believe I just

no way that is impossible

this is gonna kill chance this means

Mary and Stacy died for no reason

me right now

is it an order

yes sir

didn't know you played it's been a while

says maryann died as a matter of fact

I think he misses hearing me

chance

I have some very bad news the federal

appeals judge just overturned your

conviction you're free man mr. Potter

[Music]

[Music]
