- Yes. It's hard not to be.

I didn't anticipate to
sell this many books.

If I keep selling this many,

the stories are based upon real events

with women - girls - who have disappeared.

some more about Jákup.

and she wouldn't let me in.

The first time I

was in Jákup's home,

I noticed a large map

in his bedroom.

And he had lots of books too,

which I found interesting.

That's why I wanted to

get to know Jákup better.

naval map in his bedroom?

- Sometimes I have told Jákup,

when his father was in jail,

that he was a sailor,

sailing between Denmark and the Faroes.

Once, when he was at home,

he hung the map in his bedroom,

and showed Jákup where he had sailed.

They then sat together

and pinned on the map

where he had been.

Jákup used to say,

that he was going to build a ship

and sail the oceans with his family.

He very easily

obsessed with all sorts of things.

- Jákup's family

was very chaotic.

The rumour was, that his father

hit his mother,
when he was at home.

I asked her if Jákup

ever spend any time

elsewhere in the house.

- Well he does spend

a lot of time in the garage.

He's inventing,

fixes engines,

does woodwork...

I honestly don't know

what it's for.

He doesn't tell me

about everything.

- Does Jákup spend time

in any other house

you know, occasionally?

- Well we have a house in Saksun,

which his grandfather had.

But we're hardly ever there,

and haven't been there for years.

Jákup's dad has tied the boat

down by the docks,

but we haven't checked it

for ages.

- I had a look at

the boat.

It was completely

fallen into disrepair.

The engine wouldn't

for driving Maria somewhere.

We went to Saksun

to investigate the house

but there was nothing there either.

our investigation,

but found nothing of use.

We interviewed some

neighbours, asking

if anyone had been there
