we are gathered here to witness
the wedding of Thomas Forrester
and Hope Logan.
To support their desire to
become a family, and to
acknowledge Hope's very special
bond with my man, Douglas...
[ Laughter ]
...who's almost as happy about
today as his daddy.
>> Thomas: [ Chuckles ]
>> Zoe: Look, telling the truth
will only make this situation
worse for everyone.
>> Flo: You lost the man you
love.
You know how that feels.
Think about what Hope and Liam
have lost.
Why should we all have to suffer
for what your father did?
>> Zoe: Because he did it for

>> Flo: Oh, God, that is such
BS!
Your father made his own
choices, and now we're the ones
left here paying for it all.
But now we have the power.
We can go over to Brooke's
house, and we can tell them.
I mean, they're all there.
They're all in the same place.
It's the perfect moment.

same time.
We can undo so much of the wrong
that's been done.

Zoe...
we have to do the right thing.

wrote, "Hope smiles on the
threshold of the year to come,
whispering, 'It will be
happier.'"
Thomas and Hope are on that
threshold today, looking forward
not to one year of happiness,
but a lifetime.
Because that love we're
celebrating that brought them to
this moment, a love that
dispelled the shadow of tragedy
and loss.
When we lose people that dear to
us, it can be painful, but it
can also bring us together in
solidarity and solace.
We see that in the bond between
Hope and Douglas.
Today, Thomas, Hope, and Douglas
start a new chapter of their
lives, answering the prayers of
so many people in this room.
In that spirit, Hope and Thomas'
family members would like to
share a few words.
>> Ridge: Thomas, I would like
to say how proud I am of the man
that you've become and how proud
I am of your accomplishments.
But I do think your biggest
achievement is putting a smile
back on that little boy's face.
You found a way to navigate
through a very difficult time.
You and Hope both.
And I'm so happy to see you guys
standing up here, the three of
you.
Hope, you are an incredible
woman.
I have no idea where you found
the strength, after everything,
to open your heart to my son and
my grandson, but you did.
And you turned their days of
darkness into days of
celebration.
I'm grateful for you, and I'm
grateful that you found each
other.

It's beautiful.
And it's sacred.
And it's a lifelong commitment
that you make to each other.
And not because of the words
that you say to each other, the
vows, but...
definitely not the support of
the family, either, but it's --
Marriage should not be an act of
will or an act of compassion.
It should be an expression,
an expression of loyalty,
of devotion, of passion,
of love.
If you have that, you can
navigate through the tough times
in life.
That's what makes a really great
relationship.
Be there for each other.
And that's what I want you for
you, Hope.
I want you to be happy.
I want you to have the marriage
that you deserve.

when her marriage fell apart,
and now she's marrying Thomas,
a man she doesn't even love,
who also might be a murderer!

Douglas can have a mother?

And pull it together.
>> Flo: That is what I am trying

>> Zoe: Yeah, well, this isn't

[ Sighs ]
You know what, you need to go
back home, text Brooke, and tell
her that you don't feel well.
>> Flo: I don't feel well, and
I'm not gonna feel better until
I tell the truth, and neither
will you.
Xander thinks he can just -- he
can just run off, but going back
to London didn't really help
your dad much, right?
No. It didn't.
We're all gonna be miserable
until this secret comes out.
But we can't really do anything
about Emma.
But...
If we tell the truth,
Xander will forgive you.
>> Zoe: No one's going to reward
us for doing the right thing,
Flo!
It's way too late!
Too much has happened.
>> Flo: We can fix all of this
right now.
We have to stop that wedding.
>> Carter: Before Thomas and
Hope share their vows, Thomas
asked if he can say something to
Hope and to all of you.
>> Thomas: Yeah, Hope and I
didn't write our own vows, but I
did have something I wanted to
say.
[ Sighs ]
Everything I've done, every
decision that I have made...
well, it's been for you.
It's been for you and this
family that we're building.
And I'll do everything in my
power to protect and defend that
family.
I'm a better man,

everything because of you.
I don't know what Douglas and I
would have done coming back to
L.A. if it hadn't been for you.
I mean, you showed us something.
You showed us -- both of us, not
just Douglas, but me, too --
that we could feel happy again
and that there are things to
look forward to.

And you connected with Douglas
and you helped him.
You helped him talk about his
feelings, and you helped him
accept his loss.
You let him know that it was
hard for you, too.
And that is one of the most
courageous things I think
I've ever seen anyone do.
Like everyone here.
You've all seen the change in
Douglas since we got back.
That change -- that's all
because of you.
And, you know...
I love you.
I loved you before, I love you
now, but...
once I saw how much Douglas
loves you...
You love Hope, don't you, buddy?

with Steffy and Kelly and

know it.
We know the truth.
None of this would be happening
if Hope knew that Phoebe was
really Beth.
