[Black Panther] We have less than a minute to find Zanda and stop her bomb.

Not enough time to do both. We gotta split up.

Where exactly are you going? Hunter, wait!

Just trust me!

[growls]

[Attuma] Cooperation with the surface

isn't the Atlantean way, Mr. Stark.

There are those among us who prefer the path of conquest

to solve the Wakanda problem.

Well, Lord Attuma, the thing about conquest

is it never really works out for the regular people.

Trust me, compromise is the way to go. Cooperation.

Ha! You sound like my daughter.

She believes the future of my realm

is in joining forces with the surface.

- [Tony] Well, from what I've seen of her, - [panting]

the Lady Elanna is one smart cookie.

- You're daughter is very... - [door opens]

What is the meaning of this?

Tony? What are you doing here?

Where is Attuma? He is in grave danger.

How dare you approach the throne!

[White Wolf] Angry fish king, angry billionaire...

There it is!

[yells]

[grunts]

White Wolf, whatever you're doing here, stop!

- Stand down! - [yells]

[grunts]

You know this interloper?

Yes... No...

Sort of. He's Black Panther's brother.

Hey! Don't touch my... [grunts]

So, the Panther King sends his brother

to disrupt our ongoing peace talks?

[yells]

Actually, that's the opposite of what I'm trying to do.

Is every Wakandan completely without honor?

Not everyone. [grunts]

So, please, stop trying to skewer me and let me save your life!

Where is Attuma? He is in grave danger.

Yeah, yeah. I know.

Princess Zanda was impersonating Black Widow.

[chuckles] I told you I was going to start a war, didn't I?

[yells]

[beeps]

[grunts] [yells]

Aah!

[grunts]

[citizens screaming, shouting]

No.

No!

This is not how it was meant to be.

The bomb was meant to explode inside the palace.

Attuma would be destroyed. Atlantis would attack the surface.

It was perfect! Perfect! And now...

And now you have crossed a line, Zanda.

I don't know how you managed it, but this is your doing.

I suspect my brother is the one who stopped your bomb.

In any case, you are finished here.

Oh, do you really think so?

Well, I disagree.

[both grunting]

I can still win.

If I can get to the palace, I can finish Attuma myself.

This is not a game, Zanda. [grunting]

You are so adorable.

[groans]

Of course it's a game.

And the Shadow Council plays to win.

The Council is using you! Do you not understand?

Killmonger is playing on your vanity!

[grunts] I am not vain!

I am the one who infiltrated Atlantis.

I am the one who set the bomb. I fooled Attuma,

I fooled the Avengers, and I fooled you!

[crashing]

[grunts]

This structure is collapsing.

- We must get out, now! - Oh, I'm getting out.

You, on the other hand... [grunts]

Killmonger can have Wakanda.

Tiger Shark can have Atlantis.

[both grunt]

[groans]

All I want is your mask on my trophy wall.

[rumbling]

Zanda, stop it! [grunting]

- We must get out of here, now! - [rumbling continues]

No! Let me go!

[both grunt]

- [groans] - Don't tell me what to do!

I am a princess! I am...

Aahh!

[grunts]

[grunts]

[citizens screaming, shouting]

- [computer beeps] - [Black Panther] Hunter!

[grunts]

Told ya.

[grunts]

Good to see you, too, brother.

What about Stark and Attuma?

They must be buried. Under this debris.

Help me.

[grunts] The Shadow Council meant to use this attack

to set Atlantis at war with the surface.

- You stopped that. - [chuckles] I stopped the war?

Depends on how upset Attuma is after we dig him out.

Your actions saved countless lives.

I am proud of you.

You sounded just like Father when you said that.

Father would also be proud of you.

[growls] You!

That is not his happy face.

You were warned never to set foot

inside my kingdom again!

[both grunt]

[Black Panther] Attuma, listen.

I must explain.

- [yells] - [grunts]

- [yells] - [White Wolf yells]

[grunts]

[yells]

You have no honor.

You have no allies. You will end here.

You do not understand.

There are forces who wish to steer our kingdoms into... [yells]

[grunts]

[yells]

I am not your enemy. The Shadow Council...

Is combat the only language you understand?

This isn't combat, this is an execution!

- [citizens clamoring] - This way! Quickly!

[Attuma yelling]

[grunts]

- [yells] - No!

Aah!

Father! What are you doing?

Stand aside, Elanna.

I'm putting an end to this troublesome king.

T'Challa and his people have only come to help us.

I see.

His lies have even corrupted you.

No matter. Once he's gone,

all will be as it was.

All of Atlantis knows Attuma's strength.

Now is the time to show wisdom.

If you will not do it for me, Father,

then do it for the Atlantean people.

[Tony] Hey! Hello! Royals!

I'm glad everyone's getting along down there, but we've got a problem brewing,

and it's pretty big. [crackling]

See those cracks? We've got maybe ten minutes

before the whole ocean comes down on top of us.

If we pool our efforts, the technology in my armor might be sufficient.

You will do nothing. If Atlantis is to be saved,

it will be saved by Atlanteans.

Your stubbornness will lead your people to ruin, Attuma.

I will decide what is best for my people.

Then decide, Father, right now.

We have no more time for quarrels. Decide.

[citizens continue clamoring]

My daughter is right.

We will work together to save the city.

[Tony] Okay, so, everyone on the same team now?

Great. I might have a fix for those cracks.

[chuckles] And what can you do without your armor?

Quite a bit, actually. [beeps]

[Tiger Shark] Killmonger?

Killmonger, you're out!

Obviously. The bomb's shockwave

must have damaged the locking system on my cell.

But, sadly, not yours.

Wait! You have to let me out of here!

I think not. Better for our plans

for you to remain incarcerated.

Our plans or your plans?

[chuckling]

Killmonger! Come back here!

Killmonger!

[grunts]

[boulder crashes]

[Black Panther on communicator] Stark, what is your status?

Could be better.

Right now, I'm barely holding the line.

I seal one crack, two more pop up.

Once we have secured the civilians, I will assist you.

[Tony over communicator] Soon as you can, buddy. Thanks.

[grunts]

[boulder crashes]

It is all right, child. I am here to help.

[whimpering]

Okay. Not the best weld I've ever done, but...

No!

No, no, no, no, no!

Everybody scatter! I can't hold it!

I can't...

[grunts]

[grunts]

[Attuma straining]

Get out of there! Go! Now!

[grunts]

I thank you for my life, Lord Attuma.

You could have saved yourself, but you chose to protect the child.

There was no choice.

No, there was not.

I thought you might have let me die. To eliminate an enemy.

Are we still enemies?

The Shadow Council wants us at each other's throats.

They have manipulated us, like puppets.

It is time we cut those strings.

Indeed.

Let us show these upstarts what it means to cross a king.

[crash]

[citizens screaming]

Why is it never good news?

Okay. Better wrap this up fast.

Only one thing left I can try.

[yells]

Wow. I cannot believe that worked.

The fissures, Stark... did you seal them all?

Yep. Sure did. At least long enough

for the Atlanteans to do a more permanent fix.

This will not be forgotten, Stark.

Atlantis thanks you for your efforts.

Hey, we're Avengers.

Saving underwater civilizations is what we're for.

Black Panther!

Hawkeye, what happened to your hands? Are you okay?

I'm fine.

You've got some explaining to do, T'Challa.

Right here, right now!

Step back, Avenger. Show respect.

Oh, great! Another one.

Start talking, Panther. Where is Black Widow?

I... I do not know where she is.

Natasha was replaced by the shape-shifter, Princess Zanda.

Yeah. I figured that part out when she blew me up!

These are all your problems, your secrets,

and we are paying the price!

We will find her, Clint. Zanda did not work alone.

All of this is the doing of Killmonger and the Shadow Council.

The bottom line is, the Shadow Council has been playing us.

All of us. But it's over now.

Okay. So, what, this is the part

where we're supposed to bury the hatchet, right? Forget it.

I make no apologies for my actions.

Defeating the Shadow Council has been my...

The Shadow Council didn't tell you to quit the team!

They didn't tell you to lie to us!

I never lied to you.

So you kept secrets!

Call it what you want. It's the same thing!

If you'd just come clean with us, I'd still be able to use my hands,

Natasha would still be here, and Cap...

Cap would still be alive.

Captain America is alive, Hawkeye.

- Whoa! What? - How?

It is a long story, but yes,

Captain America is alive and well in Wakanda.

And this is when you tell us? In the middle of Armageddon?

There was not a better time.

We have all been... occupied.

More secrets!

Why can't you just... Aah! [groans]

Uh... Okay. All right. Good news is good news.

Details can wait. We need to get Clint to the Avenjet medical bay.

Yes. We must go as well.

Atlantis will not forget your sacrifice, Avengers.

You showed much fortitude and leadership during the crisis.

I am Attuma's daughter.

I did my duty. No more, no less.

You prevented two kings from going to war.

I would say you did more than your duty.

Black Panther, it is time we made our peace official.

"Official," Attuma? What do you mean?

You and I have settled our differences.

We must announce the new peace between Wakanda and Atlantis to the world.

Together, we... [groaning]

[crying out]

[whimpering]

No!

[chuckling]

A warrior should be more careful where he leaves his weapons.

[grunts]

[both grunting]

Well done, Hunter. You have improved,

but you will never be a match for your old teacher.

[grunts]

[groaning]

I think it's time I left you to your grief.

- My condolences, of course. - [beeps]

[panting]

[flames crackling]

[crying]

[gasps] Elanna,

my child,

protect... family,

protect Atlantis.

I am so proud of you.

[crying]

Lady Elanna, I...

Is there anything I can do?

Bring... me... Killmonger!

We will find him, Elanna.

Killmonger will pay for every one of his crimes. You have my word.

[Orka] The tide recedes on Atlantis.

But it will rise again.

Attuma is gone.

All hail Elanna!

I swear, Father,

you will be avenged.

So, we failed, right?

Atlantis attacks the surface and it's all-out war?

No. If we can capture Killmonger,

we can still salvage something from all this.

I never got along with that guy.

To be fair, you never got along with anyone.

Not true. Me and Shuri were cool.

I have traveled the planet, to the stars,

to the bottom of the ocean...

always with family by my side.

I have an idea, but I need you to trust me again.

Can you do that one more time?

We are brothers, are we not? I trust you.

[grunting]

[both yell]

Hunter. Interesting choice. But not enough to stop me.

I think I might give it a try.

You're skills have improved,

but I still have much to teach you.

Come, let me give you your final lesson.

[yells] [grunting]

[both grunting]

[groans]

This strategy lacks imagination.

- You lack imagination! [grunting] - [grunting]

You should have boxed me into a corner to force me to fight your brother.

[yells] [groans]

T'Challa is weak in spirit,

but at least he stood a chance against me.

Yeah. We thought the same thing.

We just didn't need you in the corner.

[both grunting]

I expected better, Killmonger.

Are you not always one step ahead?

Do you think he ever gets tired of underestimating us?

Irrelevant. His scheming is over.

It is not over! [yells]

[all grunting]

You are soft! Spoiled! Weak!

I am superior!

I will have... [grunts]

- Nothing. - [yells] [grunts]

[groans]

[crying out]

[grunts]

Your fate is in the hands of the new queen of Atlantis.

No. You cannot give me to her.

These water-breathers are barbarians.

Take me home. Take me to Wakanda,

and I will tell you how to find your precious Black Widow.

I am the only one who knows where she is.

[chuckling] Where is she?

[Elanna] King T'Challa, I applaud you

for the swift capture of this... creature.

Now hand him over to me so we can deliver the ultimate punishment.

I cannot give him to you. Not yet.

Killmonger must answer for other crimes before facing your justice.

"Other crimes"?

He killed my father, our king!

Try to take him and you will face judgment alongside him.

Are you sure about this?

Didn't we just close this can of worms?

[Elanna] T'Challa, I will ask you only once:

release my father's killer to the people of Atlantis.

Lady Elanna, I... I am sorry.

Your claim is just, but I am bound to my duties as king.

As queen, you will soon understand.

I understand all too well.

I was a fool to trust you!

A mistake I won't make again!

[White Wolf] It's not too late to hand him over.

- [weapons cock] - Wait. I was wrong. Now it's too late.

I really hope you have a plan for this.

- No. But I have this. - [beeps]

[straining]

[grunts]

Just can't stop making friends, can you?

- [Black Panther] Go! - [Tony] Going!

[Hawkeye] So, Killmonger has the intel we need to find Natasha.

We're trusting him?

[Black Panther] I believe he is telling the truth.

It is the only thing keeping him out of Elanna's hands.

[footsteps approaching] [growls]

My father wanted to execute you for your crimes, Tiger Shark.

Attuma thought it was a mistake to leave any enemy of Atlantis alive.

It was I who stayed his hand.

And now, as Queen, you make the same mistakes!

Attuma was a fool! Now you...

[gasps]

Did I hear you call my father a fool?

Misguided.

He trusted the surface dwellers and it led to his end.

You know I'm right.

[groaning]

You are.

You are right about everything.

Come with me.

Atlantis needs you now.

Needs me? For what?

I thought there could be justice between Atlantis and Wakanda,

but all they've left us with is vengeance.

My father wanted peace.

But I? I will bring them war.

[laughing]
