and today was just about just trying to

push in those laps it was it's so much

fun when you get into qualifying and you

have those single laps which you have to

push so um you I'm just massively

grateful for all the hard work that's

gone in first of all L was on impressive

form today he did an awesome job um and

nailed nailed it all the time and then

for me the speed was there I just didn't

get it together today so just wasn't uh

wasn't a great day today um but of

course I'm really really thankful uh for

the to the team or for the car that

they've given me you know it's

unbelievable and uh and that that really

is a pleasure to drive you know and a

pleasure to be in this situation with

this team so that's that's really great

to see where we are again now uh leading

the pack and um so P2 yeah I have to

live with that today uh still a long day

tomorrow anyway anyway we're uh still

have all the

Gamble and keeping Sebastian fettel out

fir the inside goes Sebastian fettle on

rosberg Closer Closer now the whe to whe

Sebastian fettle takes the lead Hamilton

dives off into the pits it really was no

not good good for you but very good for

result it was really kind of just

controlling the gap between myself and

Nico and and saving the tires to when I

needed to use them I had lots of left in

my tires at the end there but obviously

the safety car came out no it's just now

interesting to hear from you leis that

um you were just thinking about yourself

with the pace in front and necessarily

that was compromising my race that

opened up the opportunity for Sebastian

to try that early pit stop and also it

cost me a lot of race race time as a

result cuz I had to cover him and and

then my tires died at the end of the

race cuz my stin was just so much longer

you think he deliberately backed you

into Sebastian no I'm not able to to

judge that we need to look into it and

everything I mean just another

interesting fact nevertheless is that he

said he was just thinking about himself

and his own race um so that's obviously

something we need to uh discuss my job

is not to to it's not my job to look

after Nico's race my job's to uh to

manage the car and bringing the car home

as healthy and and as fast as possible

and that's what I did okay I respect

your opinion and I'll keep it in mind

and and I'll try to show respect when

it's du of course uh going forward uh

and to the second part why didn't I

attack Lewis um I I also understand why

you're asking that and it maybe not so

easy to understand from outside uh

that's clear um but the reason is I did

try to attack him in the first stint and

it just didn't work all I did was

destroy my tires so in the second stint

there was no point to try and do that

again because this time there was vetal

right behind and it would have really

risked my second place if I would have

tried that cuz I just would have

destroyed the tires completely again and

vetle could have had a really good shot

at overtaking me and my only chance to

win the race anyways or to fight Lewis

or to try and overtake him would have

come at the end of the race and so

that's what I was building up to I

didn't do anything intentionally to to

slow any of the cars up I just was

focusing on myself if Nico wanted to get

by he could have tried but he

didn't he took Paul yesterday by 400s of

a second you admitted a small mistake on

your part cost you pole it all comes

down to qualifying doesn't it you you've

got to nail it to be in charge of the

race no it was a a good lap but

definitely for those 400s they cost me

dearly um because once you're on the

back foot like that it's just so

difficult to get by and especially when

you're racing uh Lewis how do you put

yourself back on the front foot then get

be 500s quicker in next

qualifying Here Comes Kimmy Reen and 210

down rosberg now for Mercedes has to get

on the front row does but only just by

Tenth of a second can Lewis Hamilton get

four Poes in a row for the first time in

Formula 1 yes he can Australia and then

Malaysia and then China and Bahrain

taking pole position in every single

race so far terrible day for rosberg

he's been Trashed by his teammate beaten

by one Ferrari nearly beaten by the

other Lewis as we said your first barin

poll you said on Thursday how important

it would be to be on poll this weekend

and an emphatic one as well how are you

feeling feel great feel very happy

obviously coming into the weekend that

was the target to to to really kind of

try and master this track and get the

car into an area that I'm really

comfortable with and um and that's

generally how it's the weekend's kind of

gone and uh you know the laps were

pretty good um can always improve but um

really grateful obviously to to to have

this Beast underneath me which I can

which I can really attack these Corners

with I think last year wasn't really I

wasn't comfortable with the car to be

able to do so so um it's a great feeling

yeah for sure um it's just uh strategy

wise today that I got it wrong um

because I was thinking too much about

the race and I underestimated uh

Sebastian's uh speed and also how much

it would cost me um and what I mean is

that taking it easy in in qual 2 on the

race set of tires that we start the race

with um I just lacked the Rhythm as a

result I didn't get into the Rhythm and

I just had one shot at it at the end

with a new set um starting Q3 with a

used set so that's where I went wrong

today

um and disappointed cuz Sebastian beat

me if I was second then it would have

been still a damage limitation but being

third that's really not

ideal it's lights out and away we go and

Hamilton and fed get a decent start and

rosberg I think just ahead of fettle

with the start but fedal covers him off

well down the inside goes rosberg

Hamilton cuts across V and they don't

Collide Hamilton now goes into turn two

in the league from V now Kimmy renan

ahead of Niko rosberg and here goes Niko

rosberg on Kimmy reichan makes a late

breaking move locks up into turn one

it's rosberg back into the podium places

so just need a little bit of break

management before you attack fetal so

here he comes then rosberg getting

closer closer closer DRS shot sparks fly

out from underneath the car now becomes

third to

second rosberg is coming in to the pit

and Sebastian fettle is ahead of niik

rosberg and the undercut has worked okay

there a box box box

box okay so attack him now on Fresh

tires should get out ahead of these two

but I tell you what it's not going to be

by much is it and rosberg is having a go

on Sebastian fettle and that's another

super move from niiko rosberg

so box box box box we're going to go for

the prime

Tire rosberg pits then for his set of

medium compound tires and here comes

Sebastian fettle once again by pitting

earlier Ferrari have performed the

undercut oh he's gone wide Sebastian

fettle now has the job made slightly

easier for him and he has managed to get

past

Bal information Kimmy when he swaps to

option will obviously be quicker we are

expecting him maybe to catch you at the

end of the race so just think about that

with tires so Gap to Kimmy is now

8.5 they don't tell me the Gap

anymore rosb has gone very wide gone too

deep into turn one and uh that position

has now gone so renan now the car behind

6 and 1 half

seconds for Hamilton it's the checkered

flag and victory once again ni rosberg

it has to settle for third great dve

Nico rosberg has extended that lead once

again a box box do the opposite to

Patel Just there a problem with the left

Sebastian fettle then makes his way down

the pit Lane Hamilton to the final

Corner fental stays ahead of the

reigning world

champion we're going to need to push an

attack ble I can assure you that's

pretty much impossible but so we need to

come up with another solution so we are

on Plan B it will be a battle at the end

of the race and we'll be on inverted

tires

nice stop there from

Lewis you're doing a good job Neco just

keep pushing tires okay for now

Hamilton's Pace transformed this motor

race it's now a question of just how

quickly vle can get up to speed hamon I

think will just be ahead when rosberg

exits and is the head of his teammate

Nico rosberg his racing vetto he is on a

different strategy has one more stop to

make

on lap 52 after making his final Pit

Stop Hamilton well clear of the Ferrari

Himco 295 we have 11 laps remaining

looks like maybe a big ass to do it so

probably best to consolidate the

position they tell me it's not possible

possible with the remaining laps so

question is going to respond if we pick

the pace up so I think we just need to

consolidate position think it will be

impossible niiko rosberg first win in

2015 Hamilton after being overtaken at

the start got back his second place

now crosses the line to win his fourth

Canadian Grand Prix it's Hamilton who

wins in Montreal he beats his teammate

Nico rosberg well on Le great drive

pole big question now is can rosberg get

ahe of Hamilton and the big answer is no

because he's off as well well sorry

about that guys what position is that so

it's confir P2 and that is pole position

for Lewis Hamilton who spun at turn two

because his teammate has gone straight

on and into the gravel Nico mistake last

corner so uh that's P1 mate well

done uh J was a quite a difficult

qualifying session I think probably for

everyone just with the track conditions

and um yeah I was grateful that I got my

my third lap in on in uh on the first

run in Q3 and um always pushing for that

bit extra in in the uh in the next run

and just locked the r did you fear once

you locked the manure off that you'd

lost pole I wasn't too particularly

concerned with that at the time I was

trying to get the car going and look

after the car that was the that was the

most concerning for me obviously I'd

been backwards and I was already I was

in like seventh gear or something like

that standing still so I was treding to

look after that which but naturally

shortly afterwards I was kind of like

you know probably lost it there um just

lost it then into the last Corner um

definitely gutted but uh Lewis was 2/10

quicker than my lap time and I was

exactly 210 up just up to that point so

I knew that I had to go for it cuz it

was very very close um and just overdid

it it's lights out in Austria and away

we go seems like a pretty good start

there from Ni rosberg Hamilton tries to

cover him over and down towards turn one

has rosberg got into the lead he has you

know but now we go into this second

quarter and a little lock up there from

Lis Hamilton as he takes the wide

outside line but rosberg keeps the lead

so he's in the slip stre now no DRS of

course and again rosberg placing his car

very well oh that's Kimmy reinan and on

top of him is Fernando Alonzo at the

safety car has been deployed just be

mindful on the restart pressures are low

so just be careful with

locking we are racing

again good job there Le placing that Gap

nice and steady Hamilton had gained

something like 7 or 8/10 of a second on

rosberg in the middle sector of lap

the final two turns Here Comes rosberg

Hamilton can now get

going so Hamilton did cross the white

line on the exit and Hamilton is getting

5c time penalty okay loose we have a

penalty 5sec penalty this will be added

to our race time which one did I touch

it was pit exit ni rosberg who wins at

the Red Bull Ring he reduces the Gap to

very good start by Felipe masassa from

third and Massa takes the lead of the

British Grand Prix Val vas has gone past

Lis

Hamilton safety car has come out because

of the contact we saw on the opening lap

Massa needs to get a good jump here

because Hamilton is on his tail and

Felipe Massa now leads the British GR

pre for how much longer Hamilton has

gone wide at fail of the chicane stays

in second place as he comes back on the

track but he's under pressure from

valter botas Hamilton in his desperation

to get into the lead has now lost a

place and it could be another cuz look

he's got niik rosberg all over him as he

goes into Abby Massa leads from botas

then comes Hamilton then comes

performing the undercut has leap frogged

over one of the Williams cars n we're

out of the pit L is now conceding to

Hamilton who who lead this race Nik

rosberg will stay in fourth there're

side by side the Mercedes and the

Williams bot has somehow manages to stay

ahead pretty dark that LE something's on

its way they're going to hit us before

the end of the quite likely there is the

rain coming in expecting rain 15

minutes

into maggots ahead of valter

botas mass is under pressure now from

niik rosberg who died down the inside is

he ahead of Felipe Massa the answer is

yes yes and yes and it's Hamilton now

ahead of his teammate ni

weekend it's been a good weekend so far

yes um I think coming here I've always

had generally uh generally had really

good experiences here but loving the

weather loving the city um definitely

one of my favorite cities but also I

love the track it's like it it feels a

bit like a like an old go-kart in

circuit that we used to race on many

years ago and we had super super special

soft tires and super grippy you know and

and I think with the temperatures it

gives us a lot of grip here so um but uh

me and Nico wouldn't be up here if it

wasn't really for this team they've done

an exceptional job all year long but

just to improve coming into this weekend

can definitely feel it so um big thanks

to them well done Nico talking about the

margin it was close early on through the

weekend it was pretty close between you

but later stages of qualifying just

seemed to grow what was the story from

your side um I don't have an explanation

uh qualifying went pretty much to plan

everything but just uh didn't find the

pace um and it's been a bit up and down

all weekend for some uh unexplained

reasons um so just need to look into it

tonight um definitely not happy with the

way it went

rosberg and Hamilton head Away really

good start from fy's already leveled

he's now passing Lewis Hamilton ni

rosberg trying to squeeze it on the

inside who's going to get it turn one in

the lead it's fatl that now leads the

Hungarian Grand Prix rberg is under

pressure as Kimmy Reich has got the

inside line in turn two round we go now

Hamilton's gone for first down to

the pit wall are not inclined to do

moment no massive lock up and no front

wing for niiko hulkenberg safety car has

been deployed rosberg now

pits at Hamilton pitting as well okay

Nim has a power unit problem we should

be able to pass him pretty quickly we

also know that Ferrari have a warm-up

problem on the prime Tire okay just

information have riardo car behind he's

on option tires so we just need to be

wary on the restart Kimmy has an earth

problem so he should be an easy pass we

are racing for the windmate how's

Sebastian Pace been today you had 910 on

him down the main straight As niik

rosberg makes a move on Kimmy Reen and

Ricardo makes a move on L Hamilton

Hamilton and Ricardo come together and I

think this is big trouble for Lewis

tires now he's lost another position and

botas is now going to get him as well

eighth Nico um pretty tough race and uh

some tough racing out there as well tell

me your feelings at the end of

that um yeah a very very disappointing

day because today is the sort of day

where I need to make the most of it you

know against Lewis and and make up those

points um but uh that didn't didn't work

out in the end uh big disappointment

really tough sport sometimes um and yeah

Daniel just still had his front Wing

there on on the exit of the corner and

uh so and anyways to the incident I just

trust the FIA you know they've they've

looked into it and decided to take no

action so that's that's the way it is

but it was a really bad performance day

for myself I mistakes all over the place

really

um I don't know if it was lack of uh

concentration or what but today I mean I

I pushed and I kept trying I never gave

up right until this the finish line but

I just there was so many obstacles along

the way um and it's kind of like you you

could he had a choice of two different

uh two different directions and each

time I chose it was the wrong one so um

you know I think take a lot from today

can learn a lot from today and uh take

it on gy you say each turn felt like the

wrong turn however you come away from

that race having picked up a sixth place

and consolidating your lead at the top

to 21 points it's bizarre how days work

uh today was incredibly bizarre in in

that sense for sure uh do I deserve any

points I mean I I didn't give up and I

drove as hard as I could and I had good

Pace but through all that went on

um yeah I think by the grace of God I

had some points today but uh you know

I've got to come away from this take a

take a breather in this break and try

and come back stronger in the next race

and also that there might be a bit of

luck involved in this Championship once

again because they say you've you know

you have that lead at the top going into

the break and going into the second part

of the

season um yes well I mean I I don't

generally try to rely on on luck just

hard work and I think today the team or

this weekend the team were work

incredibly hard i' worked I did

everything I could and then the race I

just kind of was a bit B wobbly but uh

I'll regain my stability 21 points is

the difference now so do you go away

have a baby in the break and and think

okay let's restart again just keep going

um it was close you know this is sort of

halftime um with a bit more I wouldn't

say luck but uh with tiny bit tiny

differences I could have had the lead at

the end of halftime you know uh could

have could have should have would have

or whatever but um it's close and just

keep going like that and got a good

chance to to pass Lewis in the

championship at some point soon

Hamilton goes into Lov a great start for

the force India a poor start for niiko

rosberg under pressure from Sebastian

inside of Val Bas towards the bus do

drive as it lights out and away we go

it's awful for Kimmy ran who stall on

the grid finally got going Le

Hamilton up a toe though as they head

towards the final chicane Hamilton goes

into the first chicane in the

lead as rosberg dueling with Perez there

Perez was fifth now rosberg has taken

that fifth place why does overtake not

work so it looks like it is working Nik

we can see it working on the start

finish St so Nik just look after those

front breaks for a bit we're getting

quite a high wear for the last

lap so Niko breaks are improving with

management as rosberg under breaking

does make a move on valter botas but

he's just too far back but can he now

stick behind the rear wing of the

Williams botas does a great job to block

him off on the entry botas once again

has blocked the way and made that

Williams look very wide indeed what are

we doing strategy do I push or do I not

push so nck most important thing at the

moment is just looking after the

breaks and the strategy call for rosberg

medium compound round tires go

on here come rosberg and

Massa Hamilton then

stops we can start to see that Ferrari a

lot more

closely so just be aware fal's tires

went off earlier than anybody else on

the option so expecting the same on the

prime P2 is still possible just need to

close the Gap looking after the brakes

and then attack when his tires go

off so we need to open this Gap right up

so just do what we can okay this we're

going to go strap mode three strap mode

three we need to pull a gap we need to

pull a gap don't ask questions just

execute okay let's just go some lap

times we just need some good lap times

now no need to ask questions we just

explain it at the

five laps to go don't take any risks

what do I need to do I can't get much

quicker yeah what you're doing is great

L that's all we need so there's no need

to take any risk just keep doing what

you're doing when I picking up the pace

to where I was is is taking

risks the smoke from Nico rosberg's

engine at the final stages here at Monza

is now out of the Italian Grand Prix it

was just too many kilm I guess on the

end in the end on that engine you know

uh and so disappointing though that it

blows up like two or three laps from the

end and just when I was having a good

chance uh to attack vetal also you know

I really could have given it a good go

against him so um that's really really

frustrating and

uh leis Hamilton wins the Italian Grand

Prix look at this thanks for that I'll

explain everything when I see you I have

to say B of that those last few laps

would not go man I yes so just talk

about zero yeah okay lose copy that so

I'll speak to you so a couple laps

before the end of the race Mercedes were

notified the stewards uh were

investigating them because the starting

tire pressure uh on the rear left of

Hamilton's car was 0.3 PSI under the

parameters as outlined by pelli Toto

wolf have been with the stewards

explaining uh what had happened and the

stewards have just delivered their

verdict which is that everything was

followed to the letter but the pressures

did drop just that bit marginally below

the prescribed

limit3 of a PSI on one left rear tire

literally means nothing has hardly any

effect it might give you one corner more

but it honestly makes no real difference

we looked at all the sensors that during

the race we were safe at any time at no

time the car was uh the tires were in a

position where they were under those

pressures here's Hamilton fifth fastest

for Hamilton the Run of consecutive

polls is officially over here on board

now with NI rosberg can he out qualify

his teammate Lewis Hamilton no he can't

niik Rossford behind Hamilton Sebastian

fed ladies and gentlemen can take it

easy yeah but our problem this weekend

for some reason is if these tires aren't

working for us and not getting them into

the window and then not just not giving

us a lot of grip so we're sliding around

a

lot the fact is our car is the quickest

we probably have the quickest we do have

the quickest car

um but today for some reason the tires

just were not switching on so we weren't

able to utilize it and um it's obviously

Apparent from both guyss yeah it was um

it's been very disappointing and we

don't you know we've tried everything

and somehow uh we can't seem to make

progress and the times that they do it

in front is just phenomenal you know

they're so fast um so very yeah quite

shocking to be so far back CU dominate

every track and then come to Singapore

and the car is just nowhere which uh

very difficult to

understand

got away well Sebastian F leads them

into turn one L Hamilton ahead of niik

rosberg rosberg being pressurized there

by fter botas botas if he gets good

traction might get rosburg in a turn

five as FAL now leads Ricardo Ren and

fat and Hamilton and Ros who does stay

ahead

B lost power guys lost power okay we're

looking quick guys quick we look working

on it working on

it already's been overtaken by his

teammate rosberg into the first turn fat

goes round into turn five ahead of him

as well he's now down into sixth place

and Hamilton quickly bypassed by valter

botas as well this is now becoming a

massive problem for Lewis

Hamilton so we see the throttle is not

going to wide open throttle is it the

pedal we can't see anything electrically

accelerating to but this just not going

come on guys how do I reset the throttle

so try HPP driver default 01 HPP driver

default 01 that doesn't

work okay so we're just looking into it

got multiple issues guys well save this

ping further and further back into

impossible

now before we know this driving could

just be killing it while he might be

able to recover it yeah copy that loose

we are in discussing now we're

discussing

now guys this is is really getting a lot

worse now I'm so right now you need to

stop me cres are getting cold and

everything I okay stop in the Box go to

neutral and switch

win and I really felt that I was easily

keeping up with him and I had more Pace

know for for pits pit stops and you know

when I had to start pushing and that

perhaps I could get up so I was in my

mind I think I thought you know I might

have a chance to win this race but you

know then I lost I lost

power Sebastian fedel wins the Singapore

Grand Prix Mercedes have Hamilton

retired rosberg finishing in fourth so

good job NE in the circumstances when

need to come back in Suzuka very very

tough weekend for us uh and the worst

part is that we don't really understand

it you know um that's the worrying part

really because uh disappointing to be so

so far off the pace in qualifying and

also in the race and there were just

small moments in the race where I had a

normal feeling which was right after the

pit stops there the car felt pretty good

and I was able to push on the pace of

the others but after that just nowhere

on rosberg as well a 416 uh for his

middle sector best middle sector uh time

132 six for niik rosberg takes him onto

provisional pole Lewis Hamilton is

matching him sector by sector here he

comes to cross the line now and by 7100s

of a second he misses out to his

teammate oh that's a big crash for

Daniel cat red flag uh has immediately

been shown you okay Danny yeah I'm

okay once again on poll here uh one must

wonder what might have happened if you

all had a second run but earlier in the

week you suggested that you might have

found a little something to uh uh in

your revi in your rivalry with Lewis

Hamilton how much of an influence did

that have um yeah first of all of course

very happy uh great day today um and a

good comeback also for the team you know

it's fantastic after such a difficult

weekend in Singapore to be back to our

usual uh um strength today you know

strong performance today from the team

great car so very thankful for that um

really turn things around optimize

everything for this track and for me

yeah pretty much nailed my laps today so

really uh really pleased with the way it

went and um great position to be in for

tomorrow leis there did seem to be a

little couple of little mistakes on the

one lap you had what might have happened

on the second lap uh it doesn't really

matter but the second lap was looking

good yeah on the first lap lost a bit of

time in um I think it's turn 11 and um I

think in the last corner so so uh know

Nico's driving well this weekend but uh

I definitely felt pretty good on that

last lap but um I'm glad that uh is it I

don't know if it's Rick or Kat but I'm

glad when they they're safe yes but

Daniel kivat is perfectly okay got out

of the car okay nicoo all the teams are

in the same boat they've had just one

hour of dry running to prepare for

tomorrow's race rather than the usual 4

hours so how prepared how good is the

car for race setup well I'm confident

that the car is going to be good um but

as for everybody it's uh it's going to

we didn't have the perfect preparation

you know so there might be a few

surprises tomorrow but no I'm confident

that I found a good balance I mean I did

do some high fuel running this morning

and the balance was good um so it should

be

gets away

cleanly Hamilton's got the inside line

into turn one rosberg will try and stay

ahead it's neck and neck with Mercedes

Hamilton into the lead rosberg's lost

another place rosberg has gone from

's race leader Lewis Hamilton as he

crosses the line Sebastian f just making

his way around the final turn that Gap

is now 4.2 seconds the Gap to valky

botas 4.1 seconds the Gap to rosberg now

Ted is nearly 2 seconds as he stops

right at the end of the pit

Lane so box box box box the race leader

stops and goes on to the medium compound

tire so push to attack botas to destroy

tires down the inside he goes and that

does push botas into just a little bit

too much of a deeper breaking and

rosberg gets through good job Echo good

job hard tire goes on again uh for Nico

rosberg hard tires for sebasti fettel

again fettle can get up to racing speed

rosberg down the main straight rosberg

moves himself in a second place in the

undercut works for

Mercedes it's the Japanese Grand Prix

for Lewis Hamilton the championship lead

extends awesome stuff Lis fantastic RAC

but once again finishes behind his

uh great recovery nios pity we ended up

yeah the first Corner was all I had to

push like crazy but I was on the inside

inside line and actual fact um the

inside Line's not the best line uh was

the only line I had to be on but the

outside line is the actual race line so

he actually had a better line going in

but I had to try and just get on the gas

and try and make it stick and um I was

running out road at one point um as

obviously he did cuz he was on the

outside but uh was it was a good feeling

to get back in front and uh yeah I felt

after that was just managing the tires

and and getting the Gap the way I needed

it but the car was I don't think they

had the same Pace as me today as you

could see so I think even if I was

second I I was in a strong position um

yeah start I mean it was a battle into

turn one and two and uh and then I lost

out in two um it was very very tight and

I had to back out on on the on the

outside otherwise it would have been a a

collision and uh um but I haven't seen

it myself so was difficult for me to

comment more than that and but for sure

that that cost me the win then um and

then I even lost out second place and

fourth play well dropped back to Fourth

Place uh so then from then it was a

tough battle to come back but I'm

pleased that I made it back all the way

to Second U with good Passover valter

and then and then a great outlab to beat

vetle wait but what must you do do you

think to to be able to beat Louis

Hamilton next time out in

Russia

um everything needs to be perfect at the

moment for sure yeah to be LS and this

weekend there was two small things that

didn't work out and that meant then

second place you know so need to keep at

it and need to try and get that uh that

good weekend together um wasn't too far

off this weekend but all the little

things make the difference and uh so

didn't quite work

out

for you now don't know I don't think

about that and over it's never over

until uh until the mathematics say it's

over and other than that I'll always

keep pushing and and I'll always come

back and with just two points needed and

Austin takes another giant step towards

a third world championship Hamilton

crosses the line and wins the Russian

Grand Prix great job mate thank you so

special to drive today I feel incredibly

privileged to be a part of this team

good qualifying I felt uh felt

comfortable in the car um it you know

it's difficult out there with the aqua

planing and everything um because when

it happens you just you just you you

know you really struggle to have control

over the car because it just snaps

suddenly without warning um so that's

been yeah quite challenging out there

but no I got a good lap together and it

was with a used set of tires you know so

um so that was that was even better

because for Q3 then I had a new set uh

to go so I was feeling really good

timing was everything wasn't it Lewis

really I guess and your first lap wasn't

wasn't the perfect one for you you had

to build up to the the time that you

eventually Set uh yeah it was generally

good good qualifying there's lots of fun

out there um I think for all of us it's

bit of an anti climax at the end I was

looking forward to going out I think we

probably I think we probably could have

gone out and cleaned the track ourselves

if if you know all the cars are out but

um but anyway still happy with uh the

onew for the for the team and um and

good for the fans to be able to see the

cars run seems like there's a big crowd

there today so I hope um I hope the

weather kind of backs off a little bit

for the race coming back to you Nico

what kind of race do you think it's

going to be and how badly do you want to

win it win for sure very badly um and

race I've got no idea I mean it was

supposed to be drying out um from now

onwards but it really doesn't look like

it out there um so who knows but you

know I'm I'm feeling good in any

condition at the moment and and our car

is great in any condition even so full

wets intermediates dries so whatever is

uh is fine

now then Ricardo then Perez and then

rosberg looks like to me rosberg's

making a challenge Daniel Ricardo he's I

think ahead of Sergio

Perez we have a virtual safety car and

the race is neutralized and because we

have so much Davy on the track very

slippery out here guys suffering the

same thing I'll see what feedback I can

get it looks like TI tips are at the

very top of their operating window it's

lights go green and we are properly

racing and look niik rosberg is ahead of

Daniel Ricardo so he's got the jump then

on Ricardo at the start of the second

phase of the

race down the inside goes niik rosberg

he's got a championship challenge to try

and Salvage this afternoon on board now

with niiko rosberg pulls out from behind

the spray of the Red Bull he's now along

alongside creat is now ahead of Kat

under breaking into the turn 12 that

little left-hander and it's second place

rosberg so no more rain expected just

thinking about the tires but obviously

you can make a

move Ricardo now going going past him

he's gone from third to

Fourth but now niiko rosberg Under

Pressure this time from Daniel Ricardo

safety car is now ending so Hamilton is

now going to have to stay out because he

would lose a huge amount of track

position whilst people are racing at

big a penalty for him behind the safety

out there with tires that are five laps

and there is niik rosberg slowing the

field down one once again the safety car

pulls out of the

way so we're going racing once again as

the safety car pulls away and the lights

go green and nio rosberg leaves the

field I never in my heart allowed that

in no I'm going to get this there's a

championship right in front of

way I'm the worst teammate you can have

just to eliminate you know maybe one

tiny error which ultimately defines a

weekend of just keep pushing keep

fighting you know and I am I am a

fighter I want to improve but I'm not
