been working to reveal the secrets of Skinwalker Ranch.

beyond the borders of this hub of high strangeness?

If you recall, one of our special projects

from our first years investigation

was a gentleman named Chris Bledsoe.

Last year, Andy and Paul traveled to North Carolina

to meet with Chris Bledsoe who says

he had an extraterrestrial encounter in 2007.

This fire was swirling, and these little flames

were shooting off of it.

I never thought about UFOs, but I knew

it wasn't anything that we had.

Chris claims that afterward, he

formed a connection with the phenomenon.

It came out of the sky.

And when I came home, the phenomena came to the house.

This experience gave Chris

the ability to seemingly communicate and directly

interact with orbs.

I'm broadcasting my intentions in every direction,

and I'm asking them to come and share their experience

tonight with us.

I don't know what this is.

Andy and Paul called in neuroscientist Dr. James

Thompson to take an EEG of his brain

when interacting with the orbs and recorded stunning results.

The state change that occurs in the presence of the orb,

which is instantaneous, it's really only held by the highest

level meditators.

You look at a Buddhist monk, they can move into this state.

Oh, yeah.

This was a very interesting experiment that these guys did.

I think what we found coming out

of our first round of investigations with him

and the EEG was that there is some kind

of effect on his brain.

There is something different biologically

that happens when he believes he's

in contact with the phenomenon.

The question is, is it a physical stimulus

or is it a psychological stimulus?

So first of all, we're going to get him down

to the Everglades, down to Florida,

down to a truly dark sky, out of his comfort zone,

a whole new set of environmental circumstances

and see how he responds.

Is his ability or whatever is going on in his brain,

is it connected to that place on the Cape Fear River or is

it replicable elsewhere?

I mean, this-- this could open up a whole other

discussion with Chris Bledsoe.

Right.

And then our second objective is

to find a way by engaging with Dr. James Thompson,

our neuroscientist who helped us with Chris the first time, find

a way, if we can add a more clinical way

of studying Chris's brain.

Because if you recall, our first experiment

happened in the field.

We would like to find a way to put more controlled elements

around that experiment to see if we can

recreate or even advance some of what we've

learned about Chris brain.

I mean, one possibility we think, and I think this would be

interesting to you guys as well, is taking him to the Monroe

Institute, you know, studies of deep consciousness

where a lot of this research has been going on for decades.

They have some facilities there that are pretty unique.

We think, you know, that's something that that'll

intrigue Dr. Thompson as well.

So it sounds like we're planning on an EEG exercise,

electroencephalogram study of what's going on in real time,

perhaps as he engages, which is a very interesting avenue

to go down because there's talk about the effect of orbs

on human neurophysiology.

Well, this will be an interesting exercise.

I'm looking forward to the results from that.

They're here to test whether Chris's

purported ability to sense the phenomenon

will follow him to a remote location.

The thing is, what we've got here,

Chris, is we've got a piece of private property

where we can run all of our experiments, where we've got,

we think, maybe the darkest skies that we've ever been in

and hopefully you've ever been in, darkest spot in the Eastern

continental United States, and we've got this to get us there.

Ready for an adventure?

For 17 years, I've been studying this phenomenon,

I mean, nearly every week.

This solid object, I just walked out and asked for it to appear,

and there it is.

I'm outside and I'm recording it.

I'm studying it.

And everywhere I go, it seems to appear.

PAUL BEBAN (ON RADIO): How close?

It appeared over the pond,

and it's going East now.

Now two.

Wow, two.

Another one just come up beside it and lit up.

It just comes to greet me wherever I go.

It's like, hello, you know?

And so what does that mean?

Is it attached to the land everywhere or to an individual.

I think that going to different locations

hundreds of miles from where I live

is a big deal to help prove that it's not

necessarily attached to the land,

but it can be attached to somebody.

I really don't know if we'll ever figure it out,

but we'll get closer, I think.

It's a good sign.

And we are off to get a swamp.

Since I've seen you guys last, the phenomenon

has picked it up a notch.

I'm beginning to see a whole lot more.

You're seeing more at home?

Yes, sir.

And especially in the woods around us.

You know, there's always the orbs up high,

but it's very rare to see them up close and in the forest.

It has grown exponentially.

Sometimes when I walk out the door at my home,

the sky comes alive, and there's lights start flashing,

and it'll come to the ground.

It'll come to the forest around me.

And it gives me a great feeling of--

it's almost like a friend, honestly.

It happens every night, just about,

and it's become a relationship, I would say.

It's almost like it wants to communicate.

It's trying, I think.

Hopefully with our investigation,

we can get a little bit closer to what it all means.

So hopefully, tonight we get that chance to see it up close.

The team is now in the dark reaches of the swamp,

far away from any cities, roads, houses, or any other sources

of light that could interfere with any potential orb

sightings.

Tell you what, is about as remote as you can get out here,

it feels like.

This is the Everglades.

It's quiet.

It's hauntingly quiet.

In order to record and evaluate

orbs in this dark environment, Andy, Paul, and Chris

will use night vision technology, including

a FLIR thermal camera, an instrument that monitors

changes in temperature.

They'll also be using a SiOnyx camera.

The SiOnyx is an infrared night vision camera

that enhances light in near complete darkness, allowing

the team to see things not visible to the naked eye,

including seeing into the infrared spectrum,

which is beyond human visual range.

I hope we can get the phenomenon to cooperate with us.

Are you getting any sense yet, Chris, direction or--

I keep facing this area right in here.

So that's where you're-- that's where you're feeling it,

Northeast? - Yeah.

Paul I see an orb right here, straight

above this tree in front of us.

Whatever that light is coming through the tree line,

it doesn't seem to be blinking.

There's no satellites.

I mean, that's not what a plane looks like.

just like you felt.

And it just vanished, I think.

It just disappeared.

his seeming ability to attract orbs in a location

he's never visited.

That is inside the trees.

That is weaving in and out of trees.

That's really amazing.

One of them's lit, full time, right here.

There's three, four orbs right here flashing in the trees.

at least three distinct sources of light.

There's another one.

Oh, wow, they're everywhere.

There's at least six or eight orbs in the woods right there

flashing us at one time.

OK, I see that now.

It's just a dance of lights and the trees

right there.

It is a light show going on right now.

I mean, red and white and bluish colored orbs.

Stationary.

I feel like they're watching us just

as much as we're watching them.

Exactly.

Chris, I feel like you

asked for just an amazing show in the tree line.

And I feel like that's

what we're watching right now.

Man, we are in the middle of nowhere

in the middle of the Everglades.

Unbelievable.

Look at that.

This is absolutely incredible.

It's like an orb parade out there.

This isn't like anything they've

ever had on Skinwalker Ranch.

Amazing.

And now they're gone.

That got my blood pumping.

You ever seen anything like that?

No, I've never seen anything like that.

What a show.

What are you feeling right now, Chris?

Do you feel some sort of connection?

Yes, I absolutely do.

How would you describe that?

Is it a-- is it a mental connection?

Is it an emotional connection?

Does it feel like a physical connection?

Well, I spent two weeks before coming here just

talking to the sky, the phenomenon,

and ask it if it would tonight appear in the woods next to us.

And we've seen that.

I mean, I think what we're still trying to get

to the bottom of, is it-- are you

able to sense them in advance or are you summoning them?

Yes.

I've experienced this so much for the last 17 years,

nearly every day of my life.

They're like children.

They act like children.

They get playful, and I think it's time the world

knows we're not alone.

What is it?

I don't know.

But it don't seem negative to me, and it's always--

it's always been exciting and positive.

That was probably the biggest show I'd seen in 17 years.

I'm so glad we recorded it.

Yeah.

For the next part of their experiment with Chris,

the team heads about 15 miles Southwest to the 10,000 islands,

an Everglades waterway dotted with remote,

uninhabited mangrove forests.

They want to put Chris on the water,

reminiscent of his original encounter

at the Cape Fear River, to see what phenomena

might follow him here.

So I'm curious what's going to happen,

if there'll be any difference when

we surround ourselves with deep water instead

of shallow, swamp water.

This is an area where the water is obviously much

deeper, about 10 feet deep.

But the volume of water is significantly greater--

than what we had in the swamp.

I mean, there's going to be no light pollution.

We're going to have probably no other boats around.

I mean, it's just going to be quiet, dark, really

ideal conditions, hopefully, for some sightings.

I mean, we are in a truly timeless place.

Yeah.

This has been like this for thousands of years.

I mean, it feels like primordial landscape.

How are you feeling now?

I mean, here we are in a totally new environment for you.

Are you getting a different vibe?

Not yet, because I haven't really

put my thoughts into that.

Sunset's, I'll face every direction.

And what I'm doing is putting out a thought into space,

and I'm requesting their presence.

This is exciting to me.

This is like a dream come true.

Well, we're just getting started.

Pretty much just waiting for sunset now.

It's absolutely beautiful.

islands of the remote Florida Everglades,

far from human activity or light pollution,

testing whether Chris's connection to orb phenomena

will repeat itself in a second location

700 miles from his home.

I don't know if it's-- what it is yet,

but it's below the trees.

It was bright white, what I saw.

that we keep seeing.

That's exactly what I'm going to do.

Because whatever you guys have been seeing,

I have not been able to see with the naked eye.

And I'm curious if it's light energy

or if it's also potentially thermal energy.

that clump where you and Chris were seeing that light, correct?

Yeah.

There's nothing on the FLIR.

So I don't know--

I don't know what we're dealing with here.

Are you still seeing it?

It's-- yeah, it's--

it's weaving in and out of the trees.

Is it moving back and forth?

Look, there it is too.

You see the bright one?

Unbelievable.

I'm trying to look in the same direction as you guys.

So underneath that bright light, someone's about to pull

out of the trees right there.

Are they-- do they have heat signatures.

Not that I can see.

Neither of them?

No.

The bottom one came from down low and came up.

So, Chris, take a look how the top one

has a reflection in the water.

Right.

But the bottom one does not.

That's strange, huh?

Well, I mean, there's a number of things that

were very strange about that. We had--

Absolutely.

two different lights

and two different directions, one casting a reflection

in the water, one that did not.

How is that possible?

How is a light source not reflected?

I don't know.

I'm pretty sure I've got the right area and frame,

and I'm not getting any kind of heat

signature, which should if it's a plane or a helicopter.

There's nothing there.

There's nothing there.

Moving slow.

Still there and very faint.

Just disappeared, the one here.

That was pretty crazy.

I feel pretty certain that it was an orb.

Well, we know it wasn't a plane.

We know it wasn't a satellite, right?

Right.

And if it's not those two things, it's something else.

It just turned off, vanished, phased out, whatever.

It's, you know, UAP, UFO, orb, whatever you want to call it.

It's, you know, something that we're chasing.

Yeah.

And it feels like it-- you know, we're-- we're always

just right behind it.

Exactly.

Andy and I are always chasing data points.

We're chasing phenomenon.

We're chasing things we can observe and record.

One of the things that's so interesting about working

with Chris is that we don't bring

along all these other pieces of technology

to trigger phenomenon.

Chris is the instrument.

Chris is the trigger.

And so to see all this activity, it's

a paradigm shift for the kind of questions we're asking

and how we think about this entire field of study.

We've taken you now from North Carolina to Florida

to multiple parts across Florida,

and the performance is extremely consistent when you are present.

It seems to be independent of location,

and it's also something that we can't replicate

when you're not there.

When we are with Chris Bledsoe, there's

this level of consistency with the phenomenon being present.

But we're also seeing more variation, I think,

than we've seen in the past.

An excellent observation.

It's changing.

Remember I told you, it changed.

If there have been changes, that's something we can measure.

Yeah.

That's something we can bring in Dr. Thompson

again and record some data to get some, hard data,

on whether the wiring in Chris's brain has changed.

I mean, there are so many questions here,

I don't know where to begin.

But we just need to start getting some data.

We're just getting started.

Yeah.

This is a beautiful place.

Look at this.

For the next part of their investigation with Chris,

Andy and Paul are headed to the Monroe

Institute in Faber, Virginia.

The Monroe Institute is a world renowned research

and educational center focused on the study

of human consciousness and the power of the awakened mind

using state of the art brainwave pattern technology.

The team will meet with neuroscientist Dr. James

Thompson at the Institute to do a more controlled set of tests

with Chris.

I am super excited about this experiment.

Dr. James Thompson, thank you so much for coming back.

In last year's investigation near Chris's home

in North Carolina, Dr. Thompson ran brainwave tests on Chris

to see what happened to him when he

saw orbs using an electroencephalogram, or EEG.

An EEG uses electrodes on the scalp to detect and record

the location, frequency, and strength of electrical signals

sent to different areas of the brain

and can give an analysis of a person's brainwaves

when they are experiencing different events.

In 2023, using EEG technology, the team

was able to capture data of Chris's brain when orbs appear.

Just had a sighting.

We just had a sighting.

He's pointing.

Wow.

Post-analysis shared with the Skinwalker team

showed that the orb seemed to trigger an incredibly unique

response in Chris's brain.

The state change that occurs in the presence of the orb,

which is instantaneous, it's really only held by the highest

level meditators.

You look at a Buddhist monk, they can move into this state.

They focus, they relaxed, and they

shut out the external world.

For Chris, this happens instantaneously.

This is great data to something

much more complex of an experiment

that we need to think of.

The team will now do a more advanced experiment

using the clinical environment of the Monroe institute,

employing a more refined EEG headset and a new set

of control factors.

Melody Thank you for joining us as our technician.

Dr. Thompson, can you tell us what we're setting up here

and how it's going to work. - Yeah.

So what we're doing this time is we're

going to get a baseline of Chris in a controlled environment,

so we're not outdoors like we were last time.

That allows us to do the processing

and understand what the brain is doing at rest,

and essentially determine that there's no abnormal differential

activity at baseline.

They'll also be adding a new lab rat

to help with this experiment.

We've got Paul coming in as a control subject.

So now we're also going to be able to look at Chris

versus a normal control, and we'll be able

to look at comparisons in the data analysis

and while we're doing this live as well.

Awesome. - Yeah.

I started my neurological endeavors actually

in sports and sports science.

And we were studying the brains of athletes

as they went into a flow state.

Top athletes no longer process external information

when they're performing at their peak.

This flow state, they talk about everything slowing down.

And Chris is unique, because when we look at Chris's brain

during the occurrence of orbs and the presence of those,

we see that Chris shifts into these flow

states of these peak performers and meditators,

people who go into internal states of consciousness

and reflection.

We only studied Chris the first time,

so we did not have a control comparison.

And in scientific research, we always

want to have a control group.

So we've taken the opportunity now to record Chris and record

a control subject, Paul.

We have a control baseline.

We have Chris's baseline.

We can understand what they look like at rest.

And then as we record at night and we experience the orbs,

we can see if there is a difference

between how Chris reacts in the presence of orbs versus Paul.

We actually only need about two minutes of clean data--

Wow

to get a representation of the neurological--

- A baseline - function.

A baseline. - Wow.

And we'll have a 99% accuracy, the representation of both Chris

and Paul's brains.

Wow.

These are good.

This is perfect.

With the baselines established,

the team heads outside to conduct dual EEG tests on Chris

and Paul in hopes of capturing the brainwave response of each

during the appearance of an orb in the sky.

We're just going to make sure each electrode is

right on the scalp.

Here, what we're going to do is

be able to record during the phenomena,

and then we'll do a comparison between baselines

and the phenomena, and we'll see what the differences are.

We know that there's all kinds of crazy data, who knows.

But I tend to be the most skeptical

of these orb phenomena.

But, you know, this is going to be so interesting, to just see

the difference between my response

and Chris's response when we're looking at the same night sky

and experiencing the same thing.

I'm really hopeful that this helps

clarify what Chris is doing.

What is his process?

Because it's going to be very different from my own.

You look like you're getting ready to compete in Tron.

Yeah, I was going to say that, the Tour de France.

The Tour de orb.

That's right.

Yeah.

Andy has also set up the team's

thermal cameras in order to monitor the skies

for orb or UAP activity.

They're set up at a safe enough distance,

so they can't be heard by Chris or Paul.

All right, here we go.

All right. So we're recording on both.

Right.

They'll settle in, and we'll start to look for reactions

in their neurological profiles.

And you can still see how

different the two brains are.

That's right.

My hypothesis is that we'll see more

complexity in Paul's because he's processing all the time.

He's potentially skeptic.

He's a thinker, and he's a journalist.

Chris is much more relaxed in this environment, waiting

for, you know, the experiences that he has all the time

and is familiar with.

Right.

Paul's a little more cognitive.

Right now, he's thinking about things--

whereas Chris, Chris's brainwaves are larger,

and he's relaxing his mind and going

into more of an idling state.

So if we could have an interaction

during this recording period would be

fantastic shape for our study.

You're a very good signal.

Now we just need the experience.

We just need a phenomena here

Chris just went off there.

Arms up.

The team is at the Monroe Institute in Virginia,

conducting an EEG experiment on both experiencer Chris Bledsoe.

Oh, it's right here.

And also Paul from the Beyond Skinwalker team

to see the differences in their brainwave patterns

if an orb appears.

And moments ago, Chris sensed an orb above them.

Did y'all see that?

Did you all see that fly over?

Just huge one.

It was huge and bright, went right over.

You saw it, didn't you, Paul?

Mm-hmm.

And it was pretty low.

Prior to spotting the orb,

Chris' brainwaves on the EEG showed that he

was in a more relaxed state.

But the moment the orb appeared, he had a sudden increase

of alpha brainwaves that put him into a monk-like meditative

state.

Yeah, he gets those global bursts of alpha that we

don't see as much of in Paul.

That global alpha is when the entire brain can shift

into this relaxed state, and that

can be trained in some people.

Chris hasn't trained in meditation or anything,

so this is something that he's naturally able to shift

in and out of, which is unique.

At the same time, Paul's brainwaves

seem to show a more active and cognitive state consistently

throughout the orb sighting.

What we're seeing with Paul, he's

thinking he's processing information,

but he's not as actively scanning the sky.

And now, he's opened his eyes.

He's scanning the sky as something's

changed in Chris' physical and mental state there.

And now, he's back into this more relaxed state.

That one, right here.

That's interesting.

So we are seeing consistency between the sightings

in the sky, but you're seeing the same kind

of initial results.

Yeah, and that's one of the things

that we are seeing that's consistent,

is that we see these global states

of relaxation in Chris' brain.

The subtleties that we can pick up in the analysis give us a lot

more information, right?

Yeah.

Once you get all the data, we aggregate it,

we bring it together and say, OK, this

was happening in the brain while this was happening in the skies.

Yeah.

Sometimes you have to pull the evidence out, look at it

in the lab, and then you're going to find

what you're looking for.

Oh.

With preliminary EEG data accumulated on Chris

and Paul that still needs to be analyzed in more detail,

they'll now move on to phase 2 of the experiment

and relocate to a completely sealed room inside the facility

called the copper room.

The copper room is a modified Faraday cage, an enclosed room

lined with copper, designed to prohibit any kind of energy

within or outside the room from penetrating

the walls in either direction.

Now, we're taking it from outside,

where you can scan the skies and have visual inputs.

Putting him in this copper room will keep the EEG rolling,

and we'll measure the neurological states

as he potentially interacts with the orbs when they're present.

But he no longer has the visual inputs.

We're going to have you in this copper-enclosed room.

Right.

You're going to be lying in the bed.

We've got people outside, and we've got the cameras

outside monitoring the sky.

And when you sense a phenomena, react

to it as you naturally would.

And we'll be capturing the data outside,

and we'll be capturing the data inside in your brain,

inside this copper room.

Wonderful.

The question is, will Chris

be able to sense the orbs without being able to see them

while also being completely shielded from any known

measurable energy that the phenomenon

might communicate to him?

And how will his brain react?

This is such an interesting experiment, right?

Because the copper room, really what it does

is seal Chris off electromagnetically

from the outside world.

There's no way, as far as we know,

that he can still connect with the phenomenon.

to monitor his brainwaves while he

sees or senses orbs in the sky.

But they've secluded Chris in an enclosed copper-lined room

to prevent him from having any sensory contact

with the outside world.

Despite being completely isolated,

he just seemed to identify an orb in the sky.

The alpha or flow meditative state

is what Chris' brainwaves have been recorded

slipping into when he seems to be detecting

or interacting with orbs.

At this point, Chris seems to be fairly relaxed, alpha state.

Although Andy didn't film corresponding UAP activity

two of the three times when Chris signaled it,

the production team has reviewed all the cameras pointed

at the sky during the experiment and have compiled

some surprising correlations.

There was so much space.

There were so many dimensions of removal here,

that even here we actually have footage now that correlates

with Chris' hand raises.

I'm very curious to see what this looks like.

an orb on his infrared camera.

Also featured another hit on the UFODAP camera

in another part of the sky.

So this is an airplane. You can see the flashing.

And to think that that correlated

with Chris raising his hand inside the copper room?

That's wild.

That's totally wild.

It's barely perceptible.

Chris was in an insulated room.

Like, the room was inside of a room

which was inside of a house.

Not to mention the fact that it was enclosed in copper.

To even hear that there was any kind of correlation between when

Chris was raising his hand, what we were seeing outside,

anything at all, was kind of shocking in the moment.

I mean, that really goes to show

the correlation between your sense

and what's happening in the sky above us.

So here's another event, Chris, where you were able to show

a signal with your hand.

Boy, that's a quick one, too.

That correlates with some kind

of activity in the sky.

Yeah, see it, doing a wag?

Oh, yeah.

See, there's a curve a little bit.

Yeah, swimming like a fish.

Yeah.

That's what I call a streaker.

They don't go straight.

They all do this number.

Wow.

And here again, Chris is inside the copper room--

-isolated from electromagnetic fields.

That's absolutely flabbergasting, man.

Let's take a look at the next clip.

The next footage from the thermal camera

correlates with the third time that Chris sensed an orb.

And the copper room is there to block

any kind of electromagnetic signal from getting in or out.

So whatever your relationship is with the phenomenon,

it's not electromagnetic.

It bypasses all that.
