"20,000 dollar note from Pingnan Palace"

"Tai Woo restaurant"

Good...cheers...

Have you divided the 36 partitions properly?

Yes sir we have

What? A scarecrow?

This is to lead us away

Good trick

Who are you?

An assassin

I was almost fooled

Don't let him get away

Yes

What is this place?

There's no way to go

Strange

Where would he have gone?

Let's go back

Go...

Sir

Step back

Yes...

Many of these stones are traps

Follow me

A QM'?

Madam, the man we wanted has arrived

Madam, Dugu Ngan is here

Please

You must want to know what this place is

...and why we have brought you here

Why?

We have confirmed...

you are the only one who saw...

the Tang's Arsenal Manual

That's why we...

have brought you here

Who are you?

Have you heard the family name of Murung

...in the martial arts world?

Yes, besides...

this family once dominated the martial arts world

A hundred years ago...

a few leaders came from that family as well

But the family declined in fortune recently

and of late it appears to have sunk into oblivion

Really?

Just imagine, in a hundred years;

Among many famous heroes...

Murung's name is not heard. Neither have I...

seen anyone from the family in the last decade

Naturally...

we've moved to the bottom of the sea

That's right

Standing in front of you...

is the last of the Murung family

Madam Murung Gufang

Her maid Murung Zhi...

has brought you here

l am attached to the Murung family too;

Nicknamed "Chameleon"

You are the famous...

charismatic master chameleon!

That's me

What are you doing at the bottom of the sea?

Didn't you say that the...

Murung family once dominated the martial arts world?

I have the same idea now

What idea?

I want to rule the world

I stumbled into treasure buried by

...the Murung ancestors

And out there...

I have also gathered many fighters

I'm well prepared

Only one thing is lacking

What would that be?

That is the Tang's arsenal manual...

from Bai Yulou of Baiyu Heights

You need explosives

That we have

And trust me, we are good with them too

The secret to making guns is in the manual

We want to get the manual and make more guns

And we've heard you are the only one...

who has seen the manual

That's why we've come to you

What has that got to do with Shen Shengyi?

What we have to do first

...is to have master chameleon

remove the scars...

from your face

So that the Feng fellow

...would not recognise you

Then you'll change your name to Fang Chungsheng

After you've your scars removed

...we'll follow our usual rules

Send out invitations

I have heard that Shen Shengyi, Bu Yanfei

and the Bais...

have arrived at the 7 Colours Forest

Murung Zhi

You can give the invitation card to them there

Shen, come and look

What is it?

The leaves look strange here

...they come in so many colours

That's why it's called 7 Colours Forest

And one of the few wonders of the world

Look

This red plum is so beautiful

Miss

Do you like this?

No

It's for you

Look

Bai Bing

The Red Plum invitation card

Red Plum Thief wants to kidnap Bai Bing

This is the usual practice of the Red Plum Thief

Last time she stole the emperor's jade melon

...and she also wrote it down on the invitation

Fantastic

She knows I'm with Shen...

and still makes a move

Maybe she thinks kidnapping Bai Bing from Shen...

will show how good she is

What kind of woman is she?

I don't know

Nobody has ever seen her

She comes and goes, and is very powerful

She gets whatever she wants...

and they are all valuable treasures

If I guess right...

her target isn't Bai Bing

She must be using her...

to exchange the treasure from the Baiyu Heights

Possible

Brother Shen, let's get out of here

It's no use; no matter where you go

...the Red Plum Thief will be there

Let's wait for her here

Then...

Don't be afraid, I've got a very good idea

What is it?

Now let's wait for your good friend Bu Yanfei

Sister Yanfei, you're here

Sister Bai

Good...

Bai Bing will be much safer if Bu is here

Hopefully it is, but still we've got to be careful

Maybe the Red Plum Thief is here already

Have you met someone...

with a scar on the face and...

wearing black clothes who has been here recently?

All those who come here are rich people

A person in rags can't afford to be here

If I am right...

he must be the royal instructor of Tai Li

Feng Rusung

Mr Feng, who are you looking for?

I am looking for a criminal

He killed Prince Duen at Tai Woo restaurant

Hero, you are...

By the order of my master

I'm here to tell Bai and Shen that...

the person who was to come for Bai Bing is here

Bu, take Bai Bing inside to a safe place

Men...

As you know, Red Plum Thief kidnaps for a ransom

And you aren't doing anything?

Who are you? Why are you telling me this?

My master ordered me to

Who's your master? Why have you been sent?

Because of some business deal with Bai Yulou

Thanks everyone for your help

Don't mention it

Oh, where's your master?

She's on the way

Tonight she'll prepare a banquet

She invites all of you to meet her

Everyone, please

Please...

I've a valuable family treasure

I've heard that Master Bai is not only the richest

but is also generous...

in buying rare treasures

I've heard that Master Bai will be here

That's why I've asked Fang to come before me

You're too kind. I haven't yet had a chance...

to thank you for helping Mr. Fang

Master Bai, don't mention it

Alright, no need to stand on ceremony

You'd better come and have a look...

at the treasure I've brought here

What do you think about this crystal maid?

Very beautiful...

It's such a great treasure

Rare too

I've never thought that I kidnapped Bai Bing

and have at the same time get another precious gift

Come

Hurry

Look

Scarecrow

Help

We've been diverted

Go

Come men

What's the matter?

What's the matter?

Just now all the lights went out...

being hit by some secret weapons

Where's the crystal maid?

Glad that it's still here

Where's Bai Bing?

Bai Bing

Bai Bing

Miss Bai Bing

Dad, I'm here

I thought you've been kidnapped

No, I've been hiding here all the time

I apologized for...

scaring everyone just now

Don't mention it, we're the cause of it

We should be sorry for this

Good that Bai Bing is fine

Otherwise we'll be so guilty

It's late, we'll rest

Goodnight everyone

Please...

See you tomorrow

Hero Shen, see you tomorrow

Please

Bing, have some rest

Yes

Madam, I'm back

What is it?

They've fallen into the trap

Alright, we'll set off immediately

Open the box

Yes

That's the real Bai Bing, we've succeeded this time

Whatever I want

I'll get it

ls the boat ready yet?

Yes

Good

Follow our plan

You put her inside the box...

and ship to the Wusau lakeside

and meet me at the Tien Lung temple

Yes

Let's go by the tunnel

Alright

Go...

Yes

Hurry...

Hurry...

Those wagon tracks look alike

How about the fuse of the dynamite?

Wait until Madam passes

We'll set it up

Good

If they fall into our trap...

then this will be where Shen is going to die

Let's go

Yes...

What's the matter?

I don't know

Where's miss?

I don't know

Hurry to Madam Murung's room

Tunnel

They must have left through that tunnel

Look, there's some vestiges of wagons

They must have taken Bai Bing from here

A red box, a trick

A mask

It's so well-planned

No wonder she succeeded every time

Master Bai, we've caught the manager

What business are you in?

How come there are so many tunnels down here?

Are you using these for illegal trading?

Master Bai, I really don't know...

anything about the tunnel

Master Bai

Murung Gufang is the most renowned thief

How can she be in business with this merchant?

Right, right

Let him go

Go

Thanks, hero Shen

There's no point of staying here

Why don't we go after them?

Right, he is right

We can search everywhere; even if someone is hiding

...we may get some leads

Right, let's go

Alright

Bu Yanfei, don't move

I've already said that the Red Plum Thief...

wouldn't have left behind such obvious leads

So where can we find...

Bai Bing now?

I know

Up to the wagon

Yes...

Have you been followed by Shen's men?

No...Madam Murung, you are so clever!

If they want to follow us,

they would have go by the tunnel side

This swapping is really amazing

Bai Bing is inside the box

Good, let's go back to meet Madam

Yes

Wait

Shen Shengyi?

Yes, I am Shen Shengyi

And I'm not in a disguise

Attack

What a good trick! Where's Bai Bing?

Bai Bing's down there. Go if you are good

How do you know we are here?

Because I am Shen Shengyi

Shen, look

If you make a move, I'll kill Bai Bing

You are vicious

But I'm telling you that tomorrow before noon

...I'll get Bai Bing out of here

Tomorrow before noon?

He doesn't even know where we will be!

How come you are late?

We've met Shen...

near the wooden bridge by the lakeside

What?

No need to worry

We've finally succeeded in defeating Shen

...and have brought Bai Bing back

You've really brought Bai Bing back

Of course. She's been inside the box all along

Open the box

Take out the stone

Yes

I've already known why...

you could fight him away so easily

It looks like...

you have not fought him away;

But have instead led him here!

Madam Murung is really so clever

If it were you at the bridge

...I wouldn't have succeeded

What? Swapping

When Bai's men...

fought with us on the bridge

They have under the bridge taken away the box...

with Bai Bing in it

Then, they put another box...

in the wagon

I've said that I'll have Bai Bing rescued before noon

I see that it's not yet noon

Who told you...

that we've transported the box to the lakeside?

Madam, don't worry

You haven't used the wrong person

It's just that you've got the wrong competitor

As a matter of fact I'm your competitor

Wait

I've brought many friends here too

Let me tell you something

Don't ever mess with us

Especially this good friend of mine

Shen Shengyi

Attack

It's strange that the first time I met you...

I felt that your swordsmanship resembled someone

Now I realise that...

your swordsmanship is just like Dugu Ngan

What's your relationship with Dugu Ngan?

You won't believe my word

That's why I'm not telling you

Shen, you really live up to your reputation

Why don't you...

help us to unite the martial arts world?

How about that?

First, I've got too many friends

Second, you are not that beautiful or worthy...

...so that I'd work for you

Retreat signal is on, let's go

Retreat in all directions

Yes

Where's Madam Murung?

Explosive

Where's she?

Yes

Brother Shen, brother Shen

Why did the house explode just now?

Have you got them?

No. That's strange!

I've seen them going in

...and suddenly disappear

Red Plum Thief is really good

Let's go back to Happy Forest

...and decide later

Let's go

Shen, how do you know that...

Bai Bing has been brought to the Wusau lakeside?

It's from this slip she left me

It's got the name of the lake on it...look

Oh, Miss Bai Bing

How come you have the chance to leave me this slip?

They put me in a box

and I knew that I was in trouble

That's why I tore a piece of paper from the box

...and held it in my hand

I knew that they'd meet at the Wusau lakeside

So I wrote the name of the lake on it

...and left it under the table

Luckily brother Shen found it

Brother Shen, we'd better leave

It might not be that easy to leave now

So we have to stay here and wait for them

I don't mean that. Presently we can leave

...but will need some help of Master Feng

Need my help?

Think about it; Murung can dig...

a tunnel here which means that...

she must be related to this Happy Forest

If we have to leave...

we do require some plan to...

No, it can't be

Our plan won't fail

Master Chameleon

Yes

Have we been betrayed?

Can't be

Happy Forest is our place

Only you and I know...

the matter of tunnel and the boat

Madam

Man from the Happy Forest is here

Madam, all the men from Baiyu Heights...

have left this morning

What?

Bai Yulou and his daughter, Shen and Bu

They all left around noon

Maybe Bai Bing is wounded

That's why she left in a sedan chair

And Master Fang...

left as well after he woke up

What?

You said Bai Bing has not been seen

...and left in a sedan chair

Yes, she left in a sedan chair

We didn't see her

Then, is there a big box the size of a human

...in Master Feng's luggage?

Yes indeed. When they left...

they were carrying such big box

But we don't know what's inside

Master Chameleon

Yes

What do you think?

Same as what Madam thinks

Seems like gone by the obvious way but sneaked out

It seems that...

Shen is not any cleverer than we are

It's a golden opportunity

Which way are they going?

West. Probably passing through Huashan Bamboo Wood

...straight to Baiyu Heights

What about Master Fang?

Southwards. Probably travelling along the lake

What do you think we should do?

In order to break up Shen's guard

...we should separate into two groups

Dugu Ngan and Murung will follow Master's lead

...and wait for them at the Huashan Bamboo Wood

This would be so as to delay them

I will be responsible...

for dealing with Master Feng

That's a good trick

We'll trick them by leading them away

Who's behind the bamboo? Please come out

Red Plum Thief

Except for me Murung Gufang

...who will dare to challenge Shen?

Madam Murung, is it because you've failed...

to trick us, so this time you'll be using force

Well said. Whatever I wish for...

I must get it

Let me tell you

We'll get back Bai Bing by whatever means

You are surrounded by hundreds of my men...

waiting for you to give up Bai Bing

Brothers, wait here

Until Shen Shengyi...

hands over Bai Bing, goodbye

Protect Bai Bing

Yes

What tricks is she playing?

Surrounded us by hundreds of men

...but without any movement!

I smell something fishy!

You take care of the sedan chair

A scarecrow!

We've been tricked

What happened? Miss

Nothing

Red Plum Thief knew that Bai Bing isn't in the sedan

If they knew, why do they have to do this?

Strange

Look

You have your trick but I have mine

I'm afraid Bai Bing is already in our hands

You better return to Happy Forest and await more news

Murung Gufang

They're attacking Master Feng

Who? Who is it?

What? It's you

That's right, it's me

I've been waiting here for you quite a while

You dare to stop me?

Oh yeah?

But on your way back to the capital you've abducted...

someone's daughter...Then what about that?

You knew it

Madam Murung knows everything

See if Bai Bing is in the box

That's right, it's Bai Bing

Take the box away

Master Feng, thanks for escorting Bai Bing

"Tang's arsenal manual"

You're right

They want to kidnap Bai Bing...

for something else

In order to save Bai Bing...

we may have to give the arsenal manual away

It's strange!

Why did they choose 7 Colours Forest?

It is surrounded by cliffs

There's only one way down the hill

...and it's only a wooden bridge

If we ambush them...

and surround the 7 Colours Forest;

Even if they've got the manual...

there's no other way they can go

Murung Gufang is smart

She must have her plan

I believe she is quite confident

I believe so too

Nobody can escape from the 7 Colours Forest

We've relaxed our defense and have been careless

That makes it possible for her...

to get away from a well-nigh inescapable place

But, I'd really like to know how she can do that

Master Feng, I need one more favour from you

I'd like to make use of your 500 royal guards

...to lay ambush in the 7 Colours Forest

On that day, you'll hide under the bridge again

and follow Fang Chungsheng...

to see where their hiding place is

Alright

Tomorrow I'll send the guards to 7 Colours Forest

You're here

Stop talking nonsense...of course I'm here

Have you brought the Tang's arsenal manual?

If not for the manual why else we'd be here?

Where's Bai Bing?

Why are we here if we haven't brought Bai Bing?

Father

Go inside

Where's the arsenal manual?

Here

Hand over Bai Bing to me first

You wish!

If I hand over Bai Bing...

you'll signal all those hidden men to come out

Then the 3 of us and the manual...

will be in your hands

No wonder you can get away so easily each time

You've got such a brilliant advisor

What do you want then?

Simple... give me the arsenal manual

Fang Chungsheng will take it away first

Then we'll release Bai Bing

And then we'll be on equal footing

That means even if we catch you...

the arsenal manual will still be in your hands

That's right. I hope you will give me the genuine copy

If you knew of an ambush even Fang could escape

Aren't you afraid of not being able to escape?

We'll see

It's real

Good

You go first. If someone stops you

...send us a signal

And we'll kill Bai Bing immediately

Yes

No signal till now

You can release Bai Bing

Alright, let's go

Wait

We have been tricked

...by you last time

This time we've to see...

if Bai Bing is really in there

Alright, please

It's Murung Zhi again

The same trick

I've already said that what I've thought of...

Shen will think of it too

Just now you've said we're on equal footing

You've got the arsenal manual

...but I've got you

All men from the Red Plum Valley retreat to here

Do you think you can escape from here?

Of course I have...

a way to get out of here

Red Plum Thief is really good

Hope that Master Feng will get Fang Chungsheng

Strange, it's this place again?

He just disappears

Dugu Ngan was lost in this place before

Now Fang Chungsheng disappears in the same place

What kind of place is this?

So, did you get back the arsenal manual?

No, he escaped from the same cliff...

where Dugu Ngan disappeared last time

Unless it's some God...

there's no other way to go

You've said that only God...

can travel on the path where Fang was lost

No one can pass through it

Right, there's only a big rock

Who can go over the cliff?

The most difficult path...

is where Murung Gufang will go

The place where no one will live...

is the place where Murung will live

Untie her

Masters, brothers

The Murung family gathers you all here today...

to let you know...

that the arsenal manual we've been looking for is here

Tang 'fichu

Here

As a descendant of the Tangs, you'll now be...

responsible for making firearms and explosives

I'll give you the Tang's arsenal manual

Yes

Wang Choisan

Here

You'll compile a list of expenses to be incurred in...

dealing with the masters of all opposing clans

Then I'll send a Red Plum card to Bai Yulou

...and ask him for a ransom

What? You're using the manual to extort money

So you think I just get the manual and do nothing?

Madam, this manual is not right

What? It's a fake manual

It can't be, I've looked at it...

with my own eyes

This is the genuine copy

Correct, the manual is a genuine copy

But the pages on making firearms have been torn out

What?

Everyone knows that the most important part

...of the manual is the making of firearms

A man as clever as Shen wouldn't have given it to you

Shen is clever

But your father shouldn't have...

put his daughter's life at risk

You...

Wait

Even if Bai is stupid enough...

to let his daughter die

Shen won't let him do that

What do you want?

I don't want anything

I just want to know who you are

Everyone knows that Bai loves his daughter a lot &...

won't get her involved in martial arts world's affairs

That's why she wasn't allowed to practise kung fu

But your lifting technique is good

On the other hand

Every time I fought with Shen

His lady friend Bu Yanfei

...has never entered the fight

On hind sight...

she hasn't even been seen drawing her sword

Can she be...

That's right, she's Shen's lady friend

The real Bu Yanfei

Don't move

People say Murung Gufang is clever and precise

That's true. You've got it right

But, it took you a bit long

Being skeptical of landing up with a fake manual

...since you've requested Dugu Ngan's help;

why didn't you expect catching the wrong Bai Bing

...and look for someone who actually knows her?

Everybody knows that Bai Yulou loves his daughter

...and also that she never goes out

Few people have seen Bai Bing

This is where you are wrong

I was with Shen that day

We arrived at the Happy Forest a day earlier

Your Murung Zhi was there to deliver the invitation

And from then onwards...

you've taken me as Bai Bing;

And Shen let her be mistaken

And Bai Bing then becomes Bu Yanfei

Therefore Bai Bing is always...

under the protection of Shen

You on the other hand mistook me as your target

You've never taken Bai Bing

Oh, Red Plum Thief

You've said that in this Happy Forest

...whatever you wish for you'll get it

But if it's in the hands of Shen

...that'll be a different story

Bu Yanfei, I must...

kill you by own hands today

And take your corpse to Shen

This way

This is really a cliff

Only god can escape from it

This is where Dugu Ngan disappeared

Right

Bu has done what I expected

It looks better with a little bit of red on the dress

It's strange! How come there's no guard in here?

Let's have a look

Intruders!

Attack...

I'm telling you another secret

I've made signs on my way here

The one who is now here...

is Shen

What?

Kill me if you want to

Or else you won't have the chance...

when Shen comes

Go...

Shen Shengyi, Shen Shengyi

I'm here, come and save me

Are you alright?

I'm fine

It's just that I've got more red colour on my dress

Sister Yan, Sister Yan

Bai Bing

What are you doing here?

I've come to pick you up

You fool

Father

Sister Yan

What are you doing here?

It's because I'm worried about you

I'm more worried now that you are here

Take her away quickly

Come, let's go

Tang Yichu, take the manual away

Yes

Shen Shengyi

What you've seen just now is only my shadow

No ordinary people can be here

Except those who want to die

Look carefully

and see who's the real me

Have you looked carefully?

I'm here

You know, your presence here today...

provides me with a good opportunity

If Shen,

Bai and Master Feng are all dead

This will mean that the Murung family...

will rule the martial arts world again

You really think so

Have you looked carefully?

Madam Murung has bought

...hundreds of these pieces of glass

...from Persia;

And created this mirror maze

Shen, it's your honor to try it today

You are real

Of course

It's hard for you to tell who's real

Of course I can, you are real

...and he's fake

You want to get away?

This glass door is unbreakable

It is made of steel outside

...and a special crystal inside

You'll die here

What? It's this place again?

This maze is good fun

No matter what you do

...you can't escape

Murung Gufang isn't that simple

Shen, you will die here

Why don't you side with us...

and assist our family to rule the world?

You go to kill Master Feng and Bai Yulou

...and you'll be rewarded

Sorry

I still have not thought about this yet

Murung Zhi!

Now only you remain!

Can't move. Let's go back to the hall

Okay

Go

Strange, it's this place again

Don't waste your energy

You can't get out

and it can't be broken

You're like me, having entered this maze

What? A maze

Right' I've been here for 4 hours

and after many tries I am still here

What about over there?

Also made of crystal

What about outside?

Gone or dead

Dugu Ngan who went inside is also missing

You manage to stay alive outside

but will surely die here

Look

Follow me, careful

We're back here again

Not a trace of blood

Right

Quickly

Inside, quickly

Quickly...

Heave that box too

Quickly

Move it up

What's the situation outside?

We're surrounded by the royal guards

...and Bai's people

It's tough to break through

We can't stay here anymore

Let's escape and plan

Right. Besides, we have already...

planted dynamite here

Feng, Bai and Shen...

are still trapped up there

Let's blow them all up

so they'll go down with the maze

Right, let's do it then

What's the tide like now?

It's high, we can float out to the sea

You and Fang come with me onto the boat

...and prepare to go out to the sea

Yes

Pack all treasures well

Bring the secret documents along

Yes

Madam, we are ready to sail out

Good, uncover the fuse of the dynamite

Yes

Bring the fire torch here

Shen, you'll finally...

die by my hands

How did you come out here?

That's because I am who I am

See where you can escape to now!

Everyone in this world;

If he wants to do something

and puts his mind to it,

...sooner or later success will come

People like you...

unscrupulous and greedy;

Will eventually fail and harm yourself

The Murung Family...

has a clever girl like you

And could have ruled the martial arts world

But you are selfish,

and cruel...

Shut up. Who are you to lecture me?

If I really have to die

...you'll die with me

Madam, get on the boat. I'll deal with him

Shen, you have to...

come and die like this

I have struck your pressure point

...and I have your sword. You're doomed

Dynamite

Master Fang

Little did we realise...

this was still a palace

...as of last night!

Now it's destroyed

It's lucky you've...

thought of such a good plan

...and rid us of evil

I should thank you too...

for finding that royal criminal

The three of us have in fact...

been responsible for this whole matter

We need not thank each other

Bai Bing, you won't have me hereon

Take care of yourself

Thank you

It's late

We should hit the road

Farewell

Farewell

Shen Shengyi and Bu Yanfei

After they have left the Bais...

re-appeared in the martial arts world

As to what will happen next...

We'll tell you another time
