And once work got out exactly what
was on offer

Of course, after Maria's murder,

public knowledge.

Now, whether Jack didn't know about
it,

or did know about it and just turned
a blind eye, was never established.

But what is certain
is he was Duty Sergeant

and as Duty Sergeant -

course, they were dismissed.
