I felt like ours is a little bit more

recognizable I didn't have any detail in

that tattoo it's a little bit more

dynamic than your guys it wasn't dynamic

day it was detailed day are we not

judging on the worst tattoo of the day

because that's what I thought I was here

to do the judges have decided

black anchor you do not have what it

takes to be master shop

eight shops remain to take on returning

veteran shops but only one will earn a

$200,000 prize and the title of Master

I feel very different since the last

time I was here I think last time I was

thrown out of my element

scribbly it looks smeared it looks like

this is on paper and you walked in the

rain to get here with technical

tattooing like this you are not gonna

make it very far in this competition the

thing is I have the technical abilities

I've been in my head this whole time

blowing it I am very excited to be back

to show everybody that I've grown as an

artist and just as a person I really

really he got backed up he knows I got

application is the application of the

tattoo smooth lines good saturation I

got this for today's Flash challenge you

must tattoo some of the most fragile

skin on the body

the ear tap tone' air is the hardest

only because it's nowhere near a flat

surface you're in like a lump or bump a

curve it's ridiculous a nice straight

but that is not all you and your

teammate must create matching micro

tattoos on two separate canvases okay

you guys will all do your own tattoos

you have nobody to lean on but yourself

the key word in this challenge is

matching tattoos they need to look the

same this is a great way to see

everybody's skill if you have a weak

link in your team they will drag going

down win and your shop will have the

power to assign all of the human

canvases for the elimination tattoo

let's meet your canvases

all right canvases please tell us what

you're hoping to get today skeleton key

on the backside of the ear a thorny rose

on our lobe shape music in the upper ear

nobody wants to pull five consecutive

straight lines through a bumpy ass here

a wine goblet on the back of our ear a

jellyfish on the front of our ear

ladybug in the front of the air dragon

down in front of our here where the hell

you get a bit of hold dragon on ears

pins and needles you won the last

elimination tattoo so you get the power

to choose your canvases oh sweet

yes we get to choose our canvas food

want something that's simple and

straightforward to make sure that we're

gonna be on top this week which pair of

canvases do choose are gonna be choosing

okay artists you have two hours and your

time begins now

welcome to our domain the technical

application on these tattoos has to be

flawless so some of the skeleton key

they're tiny small little tattoos on the

ear we were talking a white wine fading

down to a red wine will you do that any

discrepancy is gonna stand out how many

lines in music 506 if these teeth

tattooers don't tattoo exactly the same

way it's gonna be hard for them to make

their tattoos look identical you know

you can do these lines I can do anything

okay just I don't do it all the time you

are a little more familiar with

traditional stuff just kind of take the

lead if somebody has more experience

we're gonna follow that and just go with

the best idea what do you think about

that I like it I think that if you do

the three-quarter view that you should

have a 3/4 view jaw I must say I'm

thinking the teamwork yeah I'm like what

are they scheduled we had to simplify it

a little bit to shrink down to this size

I can just she's the one with all these

stipulations when wonder if you might

get a little bit smaller if we go

smaller I'm gonna probably lean towards

making a solid what we want to keep it

subtle so if you have a big black thing

in the back she's calling the shots at

this point she's making our job a lot

harder I don't want us all

huh yeah it's just like the smaller the

less detail you can get see how it fits

or not yeah okay

it's not daily we want to get it on a

flat surface we deserve to a master shop

because at theme we know we got to do

for our team to get things done I'm

gonna tattoo first and then D kotatsu

second just to make sure at the end of

the day our tattoos match up seamlessly

the middle lines are basically leave

them like that just go over those

they're too close pretty hard to put my

ego aside and a lot of things but next

to DJ it's not hard at all

know I'm getting it this is absolutely

not the time to set myself apart from my

teammate or trying to look identical

the little tentacles then and it meets

the other one oh no I'm getting this

broken bones you know what I'm talking

okay I honestly don't know if Bubba's

even here at all I know that DJ is

definitely pulling the strings in this

relationship

maybe before you're done we both look at

them next to each other and discuss a

little cure decent that I don't think we

should have anything else okay we really

need to win this challenge because

they're testing us

I'd be damned if I come back and not

have the technical ability to win this I

still before you're completely done we

should check it out we can make tattoos

that look the same if we're not

communicating some reason I thought

these were gonna be really painful this

would be the time for me to separate

myself from my teammate yeah did you

want to take a look at this while she's

standing aren't we supposed to have

matching air tattoos let's play tomorrow

a little darker than yours it's almost

like we're competing with each other at

this point

to critique your work tri-cities tattoo

you guys definitely look like two

different people did it bang you have

some blow-ups towards the bottom which

is probably why I kind of heavier cuz

you were cleaning up a little Dave yours

was a lot cleaner crisp outline and the

shape of the key was very straight

they look like they're competing against

each other not working with each other

classic trilogy tattoo there's seven

lines in there six lines we just counted

seven typically there's five okay to

give yourself more lines than what there

should be makes it even harder to do and

the ten a little bit in the air you guys

made some weird decisions I don't love

this one pins and needles you did a good

job make it look like the same person

did it I like the fact that every line

looks deliberate you guys seem to hit

everything directly one shot one pass

artistic skin design technical

application is very clean on these but

the designs look different from one year

to the next you guys have been crushing

it but I think this one you overworked

yourselves

think before you ink there's more of a

consistent hand on riches throughout the

entire outline needs hat you hit a major

bump in the glass and their minimal

amount of work which means every bit of

it has to be perfect I did a good job in

this piece but as a team we're getting a

back ratite this sucks

Old Town Inc it's very tight clean crisp

very small line details and they both

look like they have great technical

application similar design looks like

the same artist did it that's what we're

looking for

killer next team up is allegory arts

technical application of both these is

on par with each other my only nitpick

your finger Babbage's the anatomy

there's no forehead and then the jaw is

huge but I do think it is a bull tattoo

unkindness art you had a tougher road

with the actual shape of the years being

so different

yeah it just wraps differently because

of her anatomy but overall the technical

application in both ears is on par with

each other solid team work you do thank

you House of monkey this was a really

tough challenge trying to fund the

dragon going up the ear but the

difference between the two is pretty

obvious

Picasa as yours has a little bit lighter

will scratch your look and levels your

looks a little more punched in you guys

are held closest to the fire on this

show up or you're gonna be right back

out we arguably had the hardest

challenge of the day I don't think it

looks scratchy at all some bull

I was looking to get like a gothic theme

into angel that's just not the challenge

we are so frickin bone the stencil keeps

wiping off I'm melting down how did you

find working with tri-cities tattoo it

was a little bit challenging we didn't

really see much of them when they were

working on the design we didn't really

get a chance to provide feedback

ultimately are you guys happy I wish

mine was a little bit lighter I didn't

know she was unhappy I'm shocked that

she said that

today we're testing technical

application and the return of Picasso

and Lalo this is one of the big stinkers

of the day it certainly doesn't look

like the same artist did those Lalo and

Picasso didn't hit the mark on technical

application of the day who stands out to

you pins and needles they have some of

the strongest application the big part

of this challenge today is doing two

tattoos look the same and they

definitely accomplish that the suck

about old town they obviously have

strong tiny detail abilities very clean

line work only smart decisions legible

and they both look the same you want to

make a decision yeah all right that's

enough all right artists today some of

you had flawless technical application

the judges have decided the winner of

today's Flash challenge is

should give ourselves a smart play a lot

of times people get the school picks and

they get so excited that they try to

take the easy road and go to easier take

the hard road ooh we did that too yeah

we just need to not you know butt heads

at all I mean we do you know I feel

bossy but I'm like do this and you're

like I was gonna you know like that's

how it is yeah we're good friends

anyways and I think that's gonna bring

us far in this whole challenge we're so

on your work one shop will lose their

shot at $200,000 and the first-ever

title of Master sha Lala and Picasso as

the veteran artists is on your shop to

prove that you deserve to be here by

overcoming your weaknesses and in their

a black-and-gray cherub all-around

cherubs are not easy to tattoo

they have little fingers they've learned

OSes that little eyes a little cheeks in

your application has to be solid

otherwise this cherub is gonna be

looking real weird for this elimination

tattoo you and your teammate must each

tattoo a cherub on the same canvas at

the same time this is gonna be a tug of

war he's gonna be pulling I'm gonna be

pulling it's gonna be insane

today you're doing your own tattoo the

catch is both tattoos have to look like

the same person did them so this is what

we're really gonna test who can do what

remember your team you guys don't want

to bump each other off but you also

don't want to dumb yourself down and

turn up in the bottom you're on your own

put your together remember after every

elimination tattoo all of you will form

the jury of peers

you'll deliberate and choose one shop to

put up for elimination

banjo on each shoulder playing a horn

dumb playing chess with these guys I

want a baby boy and a baby girl on my

thighs there's people here that are

strong at once style and not strong with

the others I want to see everyone's

weaknesses exposed frying cherub while

my arm and my back are you open to

getting both your arms I was pretty set

on the back in the army those are two

areas that cannot be tattooed at the

same time unless you can remove your arm

that's the nightmare piece cherubs

playing hide and seek and cherubs

wrestling for assurance geez let's just

put the Sistine Chapel full of cherubs

on your arm and what's called a day pass

evil chair over my left chest and a good

chair of my right chest chest is one of

the most painful place to tattoo two at

the same time

not angel challenge these ideas are

horrible

us the canvas that doesn't one sheriff

you will have six hours to tattoo to

smooth black and gray cherubs on your

canvas based on your work one shop will

there's no better way to prove technical

application then with a cherub

- baby style one on each shoulder in the

back these tattoos are very easy to mess

up you've got to have perfect Anatomy it

has to look lifelike and it also has to

look cute how do you draw a little fat

baby angel these artists have to tattoo

the same canvas at the same time you

ready good tattoo here two people at

once

I'm ready we're gonna see who has what

strengths and who has what weaknesses

inside each team all right let's talk

these ideas the one on the arm I'm

pretty set on how long though the back

and arm thing is them they're impossible

to do here the only way that we'll be

able to do these pieces if we commence

this man to move one of these tattoos to

another location do you mean another

location anything

I mean maybe both arms raises to the

most high this canvas is so easy to work

with

O'Town ink intentionally tried to throw

us a curveball but nothing's gonna faze

us I was looking to get like a gothic

themed angel one on my shoulder and a

lower back they have to be cherubs so

they have to look like little babies I

don't want to do too much of the baby

face to it that's just not the challenge

why did you come on cherub day if you

don't want chair we are so frickin bone

yeah it's back oh you're good there's a

lot of pressure here just a wee darling

do you want to do it a little smaller

and then not reconsider we're losing

detail on the face yeah but so many

people in this competition go our way

because of size yeah you're making me

over thank already got our canvas is

great because of why do you have to make

it difficult you know why the last

people that keep that right because I

did a giant Lee's we're not building or

driving we could bring both down a

little I'll go oh my god

I need to concentrate I'm the one

drawing let's stay in our lane just

something it's done so on and then we'll

hours to tattoo two cherubs on a single

canvas

now today these tattooers are gonna

tattoo on their own but they have to

look like one artist in them I think a

little bit of texture in the front would

be cool perfect it is incredibly easy to

mess up cherub tattoos the technical

application has to be spot-on very

washed outline everything I'm just gonna

get great on it hey have you feel

comfort with it so many things

anatomically can go wrong here how's the

monkey how's the monkey

okay I'm going to the face outline real

quick okay okay our canvas wanted adult

angels not cherubs we finally

compromised and we're doing children

angels I think this is a bad idea to go

like back and forth with important stuff

I think we can skate back did you do

your Olive Branch ready yeah

I personally don't tattoo a ton of black

and gray tattoos and Dane does so I'm

just gonna pick his brain while we're

sitting there you're always pretty way

bigger than mine maybe just like having

fan out like wider here we go it's

really difficult to make two tattoos

look like one person did them if I'm low

in the table or anything tell me it's

something I'm definitely hoping Bob is

gonna be able to keep up if it's black

in the photo you make it black in this

tattoo the pressure is definitely on me

right now DJ has a lot more experience

than me once it's done it pulls all

together what I'm gonna do is just do my

best to mimic his strategy and his

technique

check out how I'm doing love you during

the loins see that yeah black and gray

is something that I definitely don't

specialize in it also shade those

fingers I'm having to have Erin hold my

hand

challenge that's going to show which

artist in each team is the weaker link

today you had to prove your technical

application was flawless Lalo and

Picasso this challenge was designed to

test your weaknesses so let's see how

you did

how's the monkey here up first overall

the designs are nice technical

applications on par Picasso I think your

biggest problem in the tattoo is the

face he's got a cross-eyed look his nose

is crooked and you just put a little

hard be con him I follow my reference

but I do see what you're saying but I

would say from the last time we saw both

you in this competition this is much

more consistent line work and much

cleaner it's pretty good

tri-cities tattoo

looking at both the tattoos it looks

like one person did it because both of

you have incredibly hard times outlining

banging the back of your inside leg and

that huge crazy line you tried to clean

up you have to do it in one pass Dave

your outline this variant blown out

let's go in the hand and then the hair

this collarbone area is a really tough

area that is nothing but a technical

application issue old Tony

technically both of you show a lot of

really nice application DJ I love the

position I love the pose I love the

elements and the way she shaded the

tattoo looks like it's supposed to look

well a couple of things get away from

you

you definitely age the kid a little bit

you definitely sunk his eyes in a little

bit you've got to stay soft I don't

think these look like the same artist

did

think before you ink

well guys there's an obvious divide here

rich your tattoos a lot smoother you

have a lot cleaner outline and a lot

smoother shading your tattoo quality

definitely progress from when you were

here like vtag your shows a big variance

from rich as far as application goes you

have a lot of shaky lines the tips of

the fingers are blacker than the line

coming down there is a way to pull a

really clean line and you're missing it

on this artistic skin design these are

the worst two tattoos y'all done since

y'all got here it's Anatomy so weird

April what is up with the extra pupil

the eye on the right of the screen is

going crazy you know the tear duct too

big this is not what we've seen from you

so far you two are the two that worked

the best together and seemingly the

worst apart

classic trilogy tattoo you couldn't be

further apart on design and tattoos the

dynamics of the characters that Tom drew

versus the dynamics of the characters

character are totally different look at

the hands look at the noses look at the

mouths look at the bodies the whole

challenge here is working off of each

other in that category you guys hit

bottom you have to operate as one is and

needles

these do not look like the same person

to them at all I have to say it Allison

you killed it you blew her out of the

water you got a beautiful child like

cherub face best eyes in the room Jessie

really rough shading here the hand

holding the scale it just looks like he

shaded over it where your shading the

wing this is where we start to see the

divide in the room you're gonna have to

work more as a team you're gonna work

together no matter what

unkindness art I love the interaction of

these two characters from one leg to the

next designs were dynamic the layout was

dynamic but it's pretty apparent that

Aaron's tattoo is a lot nicer I think

I'm about half a mountain experienced

tattooing as she is and so I was trying

to catch up to the tricks that she knows

you have a big separation from where the

eye goes through the bridge of the nose

and the forehead protrudes forward so

it's throwing the design off Aaron

George is beautiful

the face the gestures this really

detailed fine line wings the beautiful

hair that you did great job Aaron

allegory arts I do love the illustration

the way they work together as a design

is great getting right into the rough

side of it both outlines really rough

ulis your side that back leg those

ripples and wobbles are the nervousness

of those lines make the leg pretty

misshapen Eavis outline looks a little

heavier and bolder it also has quite a

few areas of blow-ups around the top

yeah that skin can be really tricky

that's a technical application that's a

mishap today big-time

okay guys it's time to announce tattoo

of the day there was a huge divide

between partners today so how do we do

this the strongest payers might be

unkindness and pins and needles

even though once way stronger than the

other I'm gonna go on what I think is

the best tattoo of the day and my vote

is for Aaron which means my vote is for

unkindness I greet my boat for

unkindness gone with unkindness Hart the

judges have decided that the best tattoo

of the day goes to unkindness art

congratulations all right guys as the

jury of peers you must all deliberate

and put one shop up for elimination head

back to the loft

even though there's was lighter and the

Anatomy is messed up your boys tattoo

had a lot more flaws in the line work

both of y'all lines are you think that

my line your lines are I don't agree

with that I think that's true I don't

think anybody said that that was true

you're the older woman that has said

that the judges said it each should both

be outlook for y'all long did you say

that about everybody except you about my

lines

some people are frustrated with you as

you get your fustrated with me or not

you're being obnoxious because you're

for elimination that shading on details

has to be the worst of the day it's

missing a bellybutton the line work is

wobbly under the chin is really bad the

hair at the top is blown out everybody

here has blown out lines I think before

you ink beats artistic skin designs

because there's at least has one solid

tattoo our tattoos don't add up to the

inconsistencies in detached tattoo

April's a tooth is the worst tattoo oh

yeah you have a lot of shaky lines that

tattoos are very minimal compared to the

other two blowouts live on the bottom
