=Episode 23= (I'll Get You Back If You Run Again)

Captain Jin.

Look, Lu Fangqi came up with this terrible idea.

Yet he didn't show up here.

You're saying the idea is terrible?

Why?

Terrible ideas are ideas too.

Do you prefer to do a weight-bearing run for 10 km?

Captain Jin.

What do we do now?

Run.

Get back to the station.

Captain...Captain Jin.

For 10 km?

Right face!

Move.

(To University City)

(Xu Lai.)

(I'm sorry.)

(Because of my selfish reasons,)

(I used the wrong way and hurt you.)

(I'm truly sorry.)

(I beg for your forgiveness.)

I envy you, Peace.

You're well-fed,

sleep well,

and have someone taking care of you,

living a carefree life,

unlike me.

Concerning Xu Lai's personality,

what do you think I should do to get her forgiveness?

Forget it.

You're kind enough to accompany me here.

You're my angel.

Angel?

It's all sorted out.

Ms. Xu.

This workload would take a quarter to accomplish.

I have a lot of time, anyway.

What's this about?

The weekly report.

I'll handle this for you.

Ms. Xu, what's wrong with you?

Why are you so eager to help out?

Wouldn't the work affect the date with your boyfriend?

It doesn't lie.

(due to my subjective consideration,)

(I've made many serious mistakes)

(and failed to put them right in time.)

(Now I deeply realize my problems)

(and I've made reflections as follows.)

(Firstly,)

(I shouldn't have concealed my sickness from you.)

(I've underestimated your determination)

(to share hardships and face the future together with me.)

(Secondly,)

(I shouldn't have concealed the truth)

(about Huo Yanzong and Yu Shishi.)

(I've failed your trust.)

(Thirdly,)

(I shouldn't have pushed you away,)

(which has stepped across the line)

(and brought harm to our relationship.)

(I assure you)

(that I'll never ever keep anything from you,)

(lie to you,)

(hurt you,)

(and give you to another man.)

(I'll protect you lifelong.)

(I've reflected on myself)

(and repented my mistakes.)

(I hope)

(you can give me a chance to start anew.)

(I'm sorry) (Written by Jin Shichuan.)

(If you're willing to forgive me,)

(please come downstairs.)

(I'm waiting downstairs.)

(I want to apologize to you personally.)

Peace.

Good boy.

Let me read the letter.

No.

(It's fine if you want to apologize.)

(But why did you copy my idea?)

(Not only that,)

(you even summoned my dog.)

(Bring Peace back)

(immediately)

(and feed him good food.)

(Don't trouble Peace again.)

(And don't bother me)

(with this kind of thing again.)

(Yes, Madam.)

Peace.

Good boy.

Peace.

Fine.

It's been days.

I wonder how Captain Jin deals with that?

Captain Jin is there.

Captain Jin.

- Captain Jin. - Captain Jin.

Have you met with Xu Lai?

Fine.

Again, it's a wasted effort.

But I did make some progress.

What's it?

She added me back on WeChat.

That's good.

That's considered a small success.

Right?

Right.

I have a long way to go.

I still need to keep this up.

Well done, Peace.

Peace.

You're an angel.

Let me read the letter.

(Instructor: Zang Qiu) (Training: CPR)

Isn't it just a pamphlet

about first-aid training?

What's with that goofy smile?

This isn't an ordinary pamphlet.

Instructor.

Zang...

Is that doctor coming here tomorrow?

Oh, right.

I must iron my uniform.

I'm meeting her tomorrow.

Captain Jin is experiencing romantic frustration.

But you seem otherwise.

(Loyal and Discipline)

Look at him.

What's wrong with him today?

He seems so happy.

Of course, he does.

He's meeting the woman of his dream soon.

The two of you,

don't speak nonsense before Zang Qiu.

Don't scare her away.

Look how nervous you are.

Show some backbone, please.

So obsessed.

He's done.

Hopeless.

You're here, Zang Qiu.

I'm your instructor now.

Call me Dr. Zang.

Dr. Zang.

I prepared the buns for you this morning.

Have some.

No, I've eaten already.

Just eat some.

I haven't eaten anything yet.

Nice.

Let's go in.

Sure.

As firefighters,

you're usually the first ones to arrive at the scene.

When you have to deal with critical patients

before the ambulance comes,

you should acquire more first-aid knowledge

to earn more chances of survival for them.

The most commonly used techniques

are cardiopulmonary resuscitation and artificial respiration.

I guess you're familiar with them.

They are the most common techniques of intermediate assistance

and you must master them.

Now, I'll demonstrate it to you.

First off,

open the airway by lifting the head

and lowering the jaw.

Check the pulse.

No pulse, nor breathing.

Start chest compressions.

Thirty times.

Next is artificial respiration.

When you're doing this,

exhale for at least one second

to ensure ample air enters the chest.

Now, let's have practical training.

Does anyone want to play as the victim?

Me.

Come forward.

Zang Qiu.

Wait.

I'll go get the car.

Why are you icing me out all of a sudden?

Didn't we kiss before?

You kissed Liu Xu just now.

Why didn't you go to him instead?

It's different.

I don't like him.

I like you.

Lu Fangqi.

You always say that you like me.

Do you really know me?

We just barely met and you keep confessing.

Besides, have you ever thought

that the one you like

might not be the real me?

How do you know I won't like the real you?

You jump to conclusions before I learn more about you.

Do you really want to know about me?

Qiu, you're here.

What would you like for today?

As usual. A set of B52.

Give him a glass of orange juice.

Okay, just a moment.

Are you familiar with them?

Do you come here often?

I'm not as naive as you imagine.

I'm dangerous.

I don't like naive women.

I like dangerous ones.

Qiu, here's your shots.

Thank you.

They are on fire.

Don't drink it.

Are you scared?

I...

I'm not.

I deal with fire every day. Why would I scare of it?

Listen.

Fire is nothing to be afraid of.

But alcohol can be dangerous.

Women who drink alcohol are even more dangerous.

Hey, let me buy you a shot.

What are you doing?

I'm protecting you.

Those who invite you for drinks have bad intentions.

They're up to no good.

Instead, you're up to no good.

I didn't ask you to protect me.

I offer to protect you.

Self-employed.
